Ovarian hemangiomas are very uncommon and most are of the cavernous type. A few reports have described the radiologic findings of this neoplasm, but as far as the author is aware, the literature contains no description of calcified cavernous hemangioma. A case in which this condition involved the ovary is now reported.

Objective: To report a case of hemangioma arising from the mandible and its clinical presentation; describe the similarities with which mandibular hemangioma may mimic odontogenic and non-odontogenic lesions; and identify diagnostic and treatment modalities employed in these patients. Methods: Design: Case Report Setting: Tertiary Public Hospital Patient: One Results: A 12-year-old male with intractable gum bleeding exacerbated by intraoperative manipulation of a loose first premolar and uncontrolled by left external carotid ligation, underwent segmental mandibulectomy. The resected segment revealed multiple porosities and a hollow blood-filled cavity. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of cavernous hemangioma. Conclusion: Though rare, mandibular hemangiomas should be considered in lesions involving the mandible. Diagnosis is difficult with an array of lesions that may appear clinically and radiographically similar. The non-specific signs and symptoms of mandibular hemangioma could lead to exsanguinating hemorrhage if not attended to promptly.

Spindle cell hemangioma is an uncommon vascular lesion histologically resembling a cavernous hemangioma and Kaposi's sarcoma with a predilection for the extremities. There are no radiologic reports concerning cardiac spindle cell hemangioma in the current literature. We report here a case of cardiac spindle cell hemangioma.

Hemangiomas are rare benign tumors of the adrenal gland. We report here on the CT findings of a cavernous hemangioma of the right adrenal gland. The CT revealed a well-delineated adrenal mass having an internal necrotic portion and tiny peripheral calcifications. After administration of the contrast media, the tumor showed peripheral enhancement on the arterial phase, and this was followed by progressive centripetal fill-in.

Venous angioma and cavernous angioma have its own distinctive characteristics in the pathological, radiological, and clinical points of view. However, the chances of coexistence of two disease entities as the neuroimaging techniques developed, and highlight the possibility made us suspect that they might share the same pathogenesis. When they coexist, the clinical symptoms are almost always caused by cavernous angioma. Here, we report 2 cases of cavernous angioma coexisting with a venous angioma in the posterior fossa presenting acute brainstem dysfunction.

Vascular tumors of the breast are a highly infrequent finding. Hemangiomas are benign vascular tumors that are rarely present in the breast, and they are usually found incidentally on microscopy of biopsy material when checking for other diseases. Cavernous hemangioma also can develop at many anatomic sites, but there are only a few recorded examples of this lesion arising primarily in the breast. We report here on a case of cavernous hemangioma of the breast.
