1.The correlation analysis among physical knowledge, attitude and self-efficacy of university students
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2001;10(2):133-134
Objective:To probe into the relation among the exerise behaviour, physical knowledge, attitute and self-efficacy, and to provide basis for helping to bring about students' lifelong physical exercises and formation of their health life manner, and NCD prevention. Method We randomly sample in cluster 1243 students(male 654 and female 589)studied in different specialities in six colleges or universities in Kunming, which filled in the question and answer paper about students'sports cognition and behaviour.Result The proportion of the male sports population is 51.22% and that of the female is 41.77%. The scores of the self-efficacy, attitute and behaviour exist obvious sex difference. Scores of self- efficacy and behaviour of male students are 13.87 and 13.62,respectively,which are significantly higher than that of the femal are 12.35 and 12.17 (P<0.01), respectively. The exercise attitude, self- efficacy and behaviour of the physical population group have an advantage over that of the case group(P<0.01), meanwhile the difference among groups of students about sports knowledge and the sex difference are not viewed. The exercise behaviour and attitude, the exercise behaviour and self- efficacy of students are positively related to middle extent(r=0.41 and 0.47, resp.),but the exercise behaviour and the knowledge dimension is related to little extent (r=0.12). Conclusion There is a larger difference between students sports population and the aim of physical education in colleges or universities. The sports attitude and self-efficacy of students play an important role which have an effect on the exercise behaviour. The group of the female students is emphasis of intervention.

Objective To explore the neuroprotective role of propylene glycol alginate sodium sulfate(PSS) following cerebral ischemic reperfusion in rats. Methods Middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) and reperfusion models were made using an intraluminal filament method. The rats in PSS treatment group were injected intraperitoneally with PSS(18.75 mg/kg) at 0,24 and 48 h after reperfusion, same quantity of normal saline was used in control group,sham-operation group and normal group. We studied neurological scores, infarct size, histological and ultrastructure changes of neurons and cell apoptosis.Results(1) The neurological score was(1.83?)0.75 in treatment group and(2.83?)0.75 in control group, the infarct size was((107.9?)12.1) mm~3 in treatment group and((150.3?)30.5)mm~3 in control group. The differences were significant between the two groups(all(P)0.05),and obviously decreased 6,12,24,48 and 72 h after reperfusion((P

【Objective】 To provide data reference for the implementation of the homogenization of pre-donation blood testing by investigating the relevant situation of pre-donation blood testing in various blood services in Chongqing and analyzing their differences. 【Methods】 A questionnaire covering the basic information of pre-donation blood testing items, quality control and the management of deferral donors was developed, and issued to 19 blood services in Chongqing through E-mails by Chongqing Society of Blood Transfusion. The data collected were sorted, revised and analyzed. 【Results】 A total of 19 questionnaires from 19 blood services(including 1 blood center, 1 sub-center, 6 central blood stations and 11 central blood banks) were collected. All of the pre-donation blood test items of 19 blood services met the Blood Donor Health Test Requirements. Hemoglobin, blood group, ALT and HBsAg testing were carried out by 19 blood services, anti-TP testing by 15, and lipid blood testing by 11, using different detection methods and reagents. Significant differences were found in the frequency and rules of internal quality control for quantitative testing items. In addition, the deferral time and re-recruitment strategy of deferral blood donors were also significantly different. 【Conclusion】 There were differences in the management of pre-donation blood testing and blood donor management after blood donation among blood services in Chongqing. Further standardization was needed to realize regional homogenization and guarantee blood safety and the safety of blood donors.

Objective To investigate the mental health status and its influencing factors among elderly hypertensive patients from Rural Areas of Chuxiong and Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan. Methods Multi-stage random sampling method was adopted to select elderly hypertensive patients from rural Yi ethnic areas in Yunnan.Questionnaires were used to collect their basic information and mental health status.Multivariate logistic regression was performed to explore the influencing factors of mental health among the elderly hypertensives. Results 21.82%(209/958)of elderly people with hypertension have poor mental health status in Chuxiong and Honghe Prefecture,Yunnan.Age of 80-89 years(OR = 2.395,P<0.05)and over 90 years(OR = 3.293,P<0.05),as well as physical disability(OR = 2.037,P<0.05),were risk factors for poor mental health.Compared with those who rated their economic situation as very difficult, rating as somewhat difficult(OR = 0.490,P<0.05),moderate(OR = 0.632,P<0.05)and relatively affluent(OR = 0.344,P<0.05),having a spouse(OR = 0.655,P<0.05),received full concern from the offspring(OR = 0.411,P<0.05)and maintain good relationships with offspring(OR = 0.339,P<0.05)were protective factors. Conclusions The mental health status of elderly people with hypertension is relatively poor in rural areas of Chuxiong and Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province.Special attention should be paid to the mental health of older and physically disabled elderly hypertensives.Economic and mental support from children was crucially important in improving the mental health of elderly hypertensive patients in rural areas of Chuxiong and Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province.
