Objective To evaluate the efficacy of interventional catheter drainage combined with ozone therapy for the management of postoperative enterocutaneous fistula. Method A total of 70 patients with postoperative enterocutaneous fistula were enrolled and divided into group A (35, conventional surgical treatment) and group B (35, interventional catheter drainage and ozone therapy). Clinical efficiency, hospital stays, hospital expenses and complications were compared. Follow-up observations of the infection score in 2 groups before and after treatment (3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks and 1 month) were also compared. Results 30 cases in group A recovered (85.7%), and 28 cases in group B recovered (80.0%), the result of which shows no statistic significance. The hospital stays and expense in group B were significantly lower than those in group A. 4 cases of group A suffered from incision complications , 2 intra-abdominal hemorrhage , 1 severe pneumonia and 1 septic shock. 2 cases in group B suffered from stomachache. The differences can be shown significantly. The infection score between the two groups shows no significant difference, but the score was found to be obviously lower after treatment than before. The infection score decreased by an average of 19.9 in group A and 23.5 in group B,indicating a better anti-infective effect in group B. Conclusion Interventional catheter drainage combined with ozone therapy for the management of postoperative enterocutaneous fistula is safe and effective, with lower hospital stays and expense.

Objective To evaluate the value of occlusion of congenital heart disease(CHD) combined with pulmonary artery hypertension (PH) by color Doppler echocardiography. Methods Experimental transcatheter closure was performed in 209 patients suffering from CHD with PH, which included 86 cases of atrial septal defect(ASD), 17 cases of ventricular septal defect(VSD) and 106 cases of patent ductus arteriosus(PDA). All patients were occluded experimentally in order to determin whether or not to be the dynamia type of PH. During the process, whether pulmonary arterial systolic pressure(PASP) was stepped down and the degraded degree were detected by echocardiography. Results After 209 cases were done trial occlusion from half an hour to an hour,PASP of 136 cases of lihgt PH patients dropped to normal; in 46 cases of midrange PH patients,PASP of 30 cases dropped to normal,PASP of 16 cases dropped to light; in 17 cases of sever PASP patients,PASP of 9 cases dropped to midrange,PASP of 6 cases stepped down over 30 mmHg,whieh those patients were occluded permanently. PASP failed to respond in 2 cases sever PH after the procedure, implied resistant PH, the permanent transcatheter closure was not recommended and the device was removed. Conclusions PASP can be estimated by color Doppler echocardiography before, during and after occlusion, which could judge reversibility of PH.

The PET tracer 5-([11C]methyloxy)-L-tryptophan (5-(11)CMTP) was prepared by nucleophilic fluorination and alkylation reaction via a two-step procedure in order to develop specific tumor probe. The biodistribution and microPET imaging of 5-(11)CMTP were executed. The results unveiled that the overall radiochemical yield with no decay correction was (14.6 ±7.2) %, the radiochemical purity was more than 95% and high uptake and long retention time of 5-(11)CMTP in liver, kidney and blood were observed but low uptake in brain and muscle were found, furthermore, high uptake of 5-(11)CMTP in tumor tissue was observed. It seems that 5-(11)CMTP will be a potential amino acid tracer for tumors imaging with PET.

As an important member of tool enzymes, exonuclease is a kind of hydrolytic enzymes without strict base sequence dependent. In recent years, by taking advantage of different hydrolysis ways of exonuclease and nanotechnology, cycle effect of enzyme digestion, aptamer, non Watson-Crick base pairing system by metal ions, fluorescent nucleic acid probes, electrochemical methods etc. , a series of exonuclease-assisted signal amplification strategies have been developed, which played a very key role in improving the sensitivity of detection methods. Therefore, exonuclease has been widely used in high sensitive detection of nucleic acids, proteins, ions, small molecules and so on. To understand it better and apply it well in the future, the application progress of exonuclease-assisted signal amplification strategies in biochemical analysis has been summarized in this review.

Panax notoginseng (PN) is one of the commonly used clinical medicines for cardiovascular diseases and possesses a variety of pharmacological effects. P. notoginseng saponins (PNS) are the most important bioactive components in PN. The purpose of this study was to explain the mechanism of PNS on molecular network level. 18 targets of the main medicinal ingredients of PNS were gained by virtual screening based on pharmacophores and data mining. A protein interaction network of PNS was constructed with 189 nodes and 721 interactions. By a graph theoretic clustering algorithm Molecular Complex Detection (MCODE), 14 modules were detected. Gene ontology (GO) enrichment analysis of the modules demonstrated that the roles of PNS played in cardiovascular disease related to multiple biological processes, which could represent the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as a whole to regulate the disease. The results showed that the blood circulation and hemostasis efficacy of PN related with the biological processes such as positive regulation of cAMP metabolic and biosynthetic process, platelet activation and regulation of blood vessel size, regulation of T cell proliferation and differentiation and so on. Therefore, the module-based network analysis will be an effective method for better understanding TCM.
