Objective To understand the work tasks of rural doctors in our country and to provide bases for the reforms of clini‐cal medical education of junior colleges .Methods A self‐made questionnaire was performed in 1 245 rural doctors from 86 rural grassroots health institutions in 7 provinces/municipalies of our country .Results The academic levels of rural doctors were low (65 .54% )and the rates of their medical certification holding were low in western district(7 .79% ) .The work load including basic medical care and basic public health services they committed were approximately matching .The top 5 items of basic medical care were ,in proper sequence ,diagnoses and treatments of common diseases ,common symptoms ,chronic disease management ,communi‐ty rehabilitation ,community first aid .The top 5 items of basic public health services were establishment of residents′health files , maternal and child health ,health care of the aged ,immunization ,health education .Conclusion The technological levels of diagnosis and treatment and theoretical knowledge of rural doctors should be further improved .The clinical medical education of junior medi‐cal colleges must strengthen the training and cultivation of the students′abilities of basic public health services ,besides consolida‐ting the training of the abilities of practical diagnosis and treatment .
4.Effects of chronic morphine treatment on contents of cAMP and cGMP in sympathetic ganglia of rats
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(01):-
Aim To study the effects of chronic morphine treatment on the contents of cAMP and cGMP in sympathetic ganglia, superior cervical ganglia(SCG) of rats. Methods The chronic morphine dependent model of rats was established by subcutaneous injection of morphine in gradually increasing doses for 5 days, the dependence and the tolerance of the model was estimated by naloxone precipitation test and 55℃ tail-flick trail test respectively. The contents of cAMP and cGMP in SCG were detected by means of 125I radioimmunoassay. Results ① Compared with control group, the content of cAMP in SCG of morphine-acute group rats was descended(P0.05;compared with morphine-acute,P0.05).Conclusion There was an up-regulation of cAMP in sympathetic ganglia of chronic morphine treated rats.

Objective To learn the professional ability of rural doctors in our country ,to provide scientific reference for educa-tional reform of junior-college clinical medicine .Methods A self-made questionnaire was performed in 1 245 rural doctors from 86 rural grassroots health institutions in 7 provinces(municipalities) of our country .Results The rural doctors were familiar with working environment ,coordinated and communicated well with colleagues ,basic competence at work .But their clinical diagnosis-treatment technology and operational capability of medical equipments were not strong .The doctor-patient relationship was not so good .Conclusion Not the proper use of medical equipment and treatment technology of weak seriously affected the quality of serv-ice .Not ideal doctor-patient relationship influenced the service effect .It was suggested that college of clinical medical professional education should enhance the cultivation of students′clinical diagnosis technology ,basic operational skills and communication skills between doctors and patients .
6.Effects of morphine tolerance and dependence on the fast excitatory synaptic transmission in sympathetic ganglia of rats
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(10):-
Aim To study effects of morphine tolerance and dependence on the fast excitatory synaptic transmission in sympathetic ganglia of rats. Methods The isolated sympathetic ganglia, superior cervical ganglia(SCG), were made from control and morphine tolerant and dependent rats respectively.Effects of morphine tolerance and dependence on the fast excitatory synaptic transmission in rat sympathetic ganglia were studied by means of intracellular recording technique. Results ① Morphine(0.1~1.0 mmol?L~(-1))reversibly inhibited the amplitude of the fast excitatory postsynaptic potentials(f-EPSPs) in SCG neurons of control rats.② Compared with control group, inhibitory effects of morphine(0.5 mmol?L~(-1) and 1.0 mmol?L~(-1)) on f-EPSPs in SCG neurons of morphine tolerant and dependent rats were obviously decreased;③ Naloxone(0.1 mmol?L~(-1)),which had no significantly effect on f-EPSPs in SCG neurons of control rats, could reversibly facilitate the amplitude of f-EPSPs in SCG neurons of morphine tolerant and dependent rats;④ No significant difference of RMP and Rm was founded between SCG neurons of control and morphine tolerant and dependent rats. Conclusion The morphine tolerant and dependent of the fast excitatory synaptic transmission in rat sympathetic ganglia has been formed in morphine tolerant and dependent rats.

Objective: To learn law students' understanding of and demand for knowledge of forensic medicine, especially their attitude for autopsy and adjust the teaching reform in forensic medicine. Methods: Investigation was made by anonymous questionnaire in law undergraduates of 1999 and 2000 grades in Law College of Shantou University. Results: Almost all the students considered forensic medicine essential for themselves. The antitheist rate of the students in non-Chaoshan area(75.2%) was higher than that of the students in Chaoshan area(54.2%).57.4% of the students didn't want to join autopsy because of dread without obvious causes.93.3% of them thought that the autopsy should be taken by the legal medical experts. Conclusion: The law students prevalently enjoy the courses of forensic medicine, and they are more interested in the knowledge of forensic pathology.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical efficacy of cannulated screw fixation with percutaneous Poking reduction for the treatment of Sanders II, III calcaneal fracture.
METHODSFrom January 2012 to January 2014, 19 patients with Sanders II, III calcaneal fracture were treated with cannulated screw fixation with percutaneous Poking reduction. There were 14 males and 5 females, ranging in age from 19 to 58 years old, with an average age of (38.3 +/- 4.1) years old. The changes of Bohler angle and Gissane angle were measured and compared preoperatively and postoperatively to observe the recovery of the articular surface. The Maryland Foot Score was used to evaluate operation outcomes.
RESULTSAll the patients were followed up, and the duration ranged from 12 to 28 months with a mean of (22.3 +/- 5.3) months. The Bohler angle and Gissane angle were improved significantly after operation compared with those before operation (P < 0.05). The Maryland score was 83.2 +/- 8.4.
CONCLUSIONTreatment of calcaneal fractures with screw fixation with percutaneous Poking reduction has several advantages such as satisfactory outcome, less damage, fewer complications, quicker recovery, and shorter hospital stay, and it is one of the effective treatments for Sanders II and III calcaneal fractures.
