Objective To research a pure capacitance sensor for acquisition of cardiac phonocardiogram. Methods Under the phantom power supply (48V), the faint vibration signal of the heart was processed into electric signal by larger pre - treatment circuit module, shielded cable and the sensor pre-amplifier of circuit module. Results With some experiments, it can be proved that the sensor won't have affect on the sound field which frequency band under 1 000Hz and can detect the level of sound field like 20dB:30dB and 150dB or higher. Conclusion So with the sensor, the precise signal which can exactly reflect the status of patients' hearts can be detected, and it suits to work in complex condition for its high sensitivity, wide frequency band and low distortion.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect of the expanded capsule on biomechanics of the transplanted autologous costal cartilage.
METHODSTen New Zealand white rabbits aged 3 months were involved and four 15 ml tissue expanders were implanted symmetrically on the back of each rabbit. After 1 month, expanded capsules were removed (experimental group) on the left side and were reserved (control group) on the right side. Meanwhile, the 6th and 7th costal cartilage without the perichondrium were taken out and each cartilage was divided into two pieces and put under the expanded capsule symmetrically. The cartilage at the upper sides and lower sides were taken out at 4 weeks and 8 weeks later, respectively. All the cartilages were sculptured for the demand of the machine text. The tension and compression property of the cartilages were assessed by the material testing machine (Instron 5967) and the results were analyzed statistically.
RESULTS8 weeks lateral, the average ultimate tension strength was (4. 954 + 2. 8) MPa in experimental group and (2.939 + 0.842) MPa in control group. The average compressive strength was (58.74 ± 13.77) MPa in experimental group, and (47.61 ± 11.41) MPa in control group. The biomechanics property of the cartilages in the experimental group is better than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant.
CONCLUSIONSRemoving the expanded capsule is benefical to maintain the biomechanics of autologous costal cartilage.

Objective To study the immuno-protective effect against Schistosoma japonicum challenge of the positive monoclonal phages which were screened from the 12 mers-phage random peptide library by the new model rabbit serum. Methods The new model was established by injecting the Schistosoma japonicum infection rabbits with inhibitor of phenol oxidose. Positive clones immunoscreened with the new model rabbit sera were absorbed by SEA immune rabbit sera, and 14 clones selected randomly from them were compared and their antigenic ability was identified by ELISA. The two best positive monoclonal phages (No.8, No.13) recognized by the new model rabbit sera were selected to immunize Kunming mice by subcutaneously injecting 1?10~15 pfu positive phages at 0, 2nd, 4th week respectively. After 4 weeks of the last immunity, each mouse was challenged with 40?1 S.japonicum cercariae. All mice were sacrificed after 42 days and the reduction rates of adult worms and the liver eggs were investigated. Results The positive phage clones after immune absorption were weakly recognized by the SEA immune rabbit sera. The 14 monoclonal phages were recognized by the rabbit sera of the new model and the normal model. Especially No.8, No.13 were strongly recognized by the rabbit sera of the new model, while weakly recognized by the SEA immune rabbit sera. The reduction rates of adult worms and liver eggs induced by the monoclonal phage No.13, the monoclonal phage No.8 and the original peptide library were 35.81% and 63.32%, 32.09% and 52.02%, 14.90% and 30.64%, respectively. Conclusion Most clones of simulated epitopes of SEA can be removed by absorbing positive clones with SEA immune rabbit serum .The 14 monoclonal phages from the new model contain the simulated S.japonicum epitope. The two monoclonal phages have higher reduction rates of adult worms and eggs than original 12 mers-phage random peptide library and the positive polyclonal phages.[

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1955;0(03):-
1. The blood supply of the tensor fascia lata myocutaneous free flap comes chiefly from the ascending branch of the lateral circumflex artery (76.74%) or its ascending and the transverse branches (23.26%). In most cases the ascending branch may be served as the vascular pedicle of myocutaneous free flap in transplatation. In a few cases the transverse branch my be used instead of the ascending one.2. The projection of the origin of the lateral circumflx artery on the body surface is at a point averaging 96.5mm below, and 49.2mm medial to the anterior superior iliac spine. This point is the surface landmark of the lateral circumflex artery. 3. The branches of the lateral circumflex artery may be classified into four types. Type 1—32 cases, 74.42%; Type Ⅱ—3 cases, 6.98%; Type Ⅲ—7 cases, 16.28%; Type Ⅳ—1 cases, 2.33%.4. The tensor fascia lata is chiefly supplied by the ascending branch of the lateral circumflex artery, it divides into a short superior and a long inferior twigs. Both twigs enter the muscle and form abundant anastomoses in the subcutaneus tissues. In order to reduce the thick ness of the free flap for the use in plastics, the superior twig with its supplying muscle is cut away and the inferior one's left to supply myocutaneus flap.5. The angle between the ascending branch and the inner surface of the tensor fasca lata varies between 44? to 120?, with an average of 66.5?. The original angle must be kept in transplantation, which favours the survival of the myocutaneus free flap.
