Objective To investigate the expression of nerve growth factor receptors, P75 neurotrophin receptor (P75~(NTR)) and tyrosine kinase A (TrkA), and to explore their role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis vulgaris. Methods In situ hydridization and immunohistochemical technique were used respectively to detect the expression of P75~(NTH) and TrkA mRNA and proteins in lesional and non-lesional skins of 38 patients with psoriasis vulgaris (21 cases in progressive stage, 17 cases in static stage), and in normal skins of 10 healthy controls. Results In the case of expression of P75~(NTR) and TrkA mRNA and proteins, patients had significantly higher level than the normal control (P
2.Nursing of patients with rheumatic valvular heart disease with atrial fibrillation treated with CoxⅢ labyrinth and simultaneous valve replacement operation
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(30):29-30
Objective To summarize the effect and experience of nursing of patients with rheumatic valvular heart disease with atrial fibrillation treated with Cox Ⅲ labyrinth and simultaneous valve replace-ment operation. Methods A retrospective analysis was carried out in the nursing of 58 patients with rheumatic valvular heart disease with atrial fibrillation treated with Cox Ⅲ labyrinth and simultaneous valve replacement operation in our hospital from April 2006 to July 2008. Results One patient died of periop-erative renal failure, one died of low cardiac output, one died of infectious endoearditis.Tbe mortality rate reached 5.2%.Other patients were discharged from hospital after completely cured. The survived patients maintained sinus rate during hospitalization days after operation and short-term follow-up after being dis-charged.Among 43 patients who completed follow-up of 6 months after operation,3 patients (7.0%) damon-strated atrial fibrillation, while others still kept sinus rate. Conclusions Attention should be paid to psy-chological nursing, respiratory tract preparation, cardiac function monitoring and nursing of anticoagulation treatment for patients treated with Cox Ⅲ labyrinth and simultaneous valve replacement operation.

Purpose To investigate the expression and significance of epiderma1 growth factor receptor( EGFR)mutation-specific anti-bodies in 1ung adenocarcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemica1( IHC)technique was used to detect the expression of EGFR muta-tion-specific antibodies(EGFR-19,EGFR-21)and EGFR tota1 protein antibody(EGFR-P)in 171 cases of 1ung adenocarcinoma with resected specimens, and EGFR gene mutation was a1so performed by amp1ification refractory mutation aystem-PCR( ARMS-PCR). The expression of EGFR-19,EGFR-21 and EGFR-P mutant proteins was compared with EGFR gene mutation and their re1ationship with histo1ogica1 c1assification and c1inica1 characteristics were ana1yzed. Results The expression of EGFR mutant protein was corre1ated with the poor differentiation group inc1uding micropapi11ary and so1id predominant types( P=0. 021 ). EGFR-21 high expression was re1ated to p1eura1 invasion(P=0. 005). The coherence of IHC(with EGFR-19/21 antibodies)and ARMS-PCR was existed(Kappa>0. 4 ). Taking ARMS-PCR as a standard, the sensitivity and specificity of EGFR-19 and EGFR-21 were 65. 0% and 89. 4%, 70. 0% and 97. 6%,respective1y. Conclusions Expression of EGFR mutation-specific antibodies is associated with poor differentia-tion and p1eura1 invasion. It suggests a worse prognosis indicator in 1ung adenocarcinoma. Because of the coherence with ARMS-PCR, using IHC with mutation-specific antibodies to detect the mutant proteins of EGFR-19/21 may act as a pre1iminary screening method of EGFR gene mutation.

Objective To determine the clinical characteristic, main treatment, and prognosis for the sake of more effective treatments for critically ill patients with H1N1 influenza. Methods Eight critically ill patients with H1N1 influenza in intensive care unit were retrospectively studied, including clinical characteristics, indexex of correlation, and prognosis. Results The acute physiology and chronic health evaluationⅡ score was 19.0±7.8. Five patients died, 4 of whom were caused by respiratory failure. The number of platelets in dead patient was lower than that in healing and improved ones(χ2=8.000,P<0.05).All the 4 patients treated with glucocorticoid died, 5 out of the 6 patients received invasive mechanical ventilation rather than noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and 3 of them who complicated barotraumas in the lung died at last. Conclusion Critically ill patients with H1N1 influenza have high mortality. Respiratory failure is the main cause of death. Critically ill patients with H1N1 influenza should not be treated with glucocorticoid. Patients who need mechanical ventilation should be treated with invasive mechanical ventilation with low tidal volume and low positive end-expiratory pressure.

Cancer Research and Clinic 1999;0(05):-
Objective To detect the level of Th1 and Th2 type cytokines of peripheral blood CD+3 T lymphocytes in patients with breast cancer, in order to find out the laboratory evidence of tumor immunotherapy. Methods The peripheral blood lymphocytes were stimulated by stimulator in order to enhance expression of cytokines. Specific fluorochrome-conjugated monoclonal antibody combined with antigen. Cytokines were detected by flow cytometry and ELISA. Results Both the cytokines secreted by CD+3 T lymphocytes and serum cytokines showed that the level of Th1 type cytokines such as interferon-?(IFN-?), interleukin-2(IL-2), interleukin-12(IL-12) were significantly lower in patients of breast cancer than those of normal controls. The level of Th2 type cytokines such as interleukin-4(IL-4), interleukin-10(IL-10) were higher in patients of breast cancer than those of normal controls. There was significant difference between them. The level of tumor necrosis factor ? (TNF-?)in patients were significant higher than normal control. Conclusion Th1/Th2 was imbalance in mammary cancer. Th1 type cytokines were inhibited, and Th2 type cytokines were relatively enhanced, so Th1/Th2 shift to Th2. It maybe the mechanism of tumor arising and transferring by immune escaped from immunosurveillance.
