Objective To investigate the occurrence trend and risk factors of recurrent respiratory tract infection during the ifrst year after Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP) in children. Methods The clinical data of 133 children complete-ly recoved from MPP and one year follow-up after MPP were included in this study, MPP IgM IgG double antibody titer were measured in different time slots (3 month, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months) after discharge. Information on frequency of recurrent respiratory tract infections, respiratory tract infection site, and drug use within one year were collected. Possible factors affecting the occurrence of recurrent respiratory tract infection were analyzed by means of single factor and multi factor analyses. Results In 133 patients, the recurrent rate was 31.58%in the ifrst year;aged 3-6 years old (OR=2.29,95%CI:1.13~4.64), or continuous positive or negative to positive antibodies (OR=4.47,95%CI:1.47~13.65), or low CD4/CD8 (OR=10.26,95%CI:3.30~31.90), or low IgA (OR=1.90,95%CI:1.06~3.40) is independent risk factor of recurrent respiratory tract after MPP;immune enhancer therapy is an independent protective factor (OR=0.29,95%CI:0.11~0.78). Conclusions Immune function disorders in the ifrst year after MPP were independent risk factors of recurrent respiratory tract infection. MP antibody positive without clinical symptoms and sustained antibody positive can not prevent the recurrence of respiratory tract infection without use of antibiotics. Immune enhancer was advocate to adjust immune function and reduce the incidence of repeated respiratory tract infection.

OBJECTIVETo observe improved effects of Jingjin acupuncture on fine activity of hemiplegic hand in recovery period of stroke.
METHODSFifty cases were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 25 cases in each one. Regular western medicine treatment, rehabilitation training and regular acupuncture (in which Shuigou (GV 26), Baihui (GV 20), Neiguan (PC 6), etc. were selected) were applied in both groups. Additionally, muscles in palm side of affected hand, dorsal metacarpophalangeal joints and proximal interphalangeal joints were treated with acupuncture in the observation group, once every other day and electroacupuncture was applied when arrival of qi was acquired. Baxie (EX-UE 9) in the affected hand were needled in the control group, and electroacupuncture was added when arrival of qi was acquired. Ten days of treatment was considered a treatment course, and after two courses Lindmark score, Brunnstrom movement function grade, joint range of hand and Barthel index (BI) were observed in two groups.
RESULTSCompared before the treatment, the Lindmark score in two groups were both improved after the treatment (both P < 0.01). Compared with the control group, the motor coordination ability, sensory function and total score of Lindmark in observation group were obviously improved (differences before and after treatment: 8.24 +/- 3.07 vs 6.84 +/- 2.43, 3.52 +/- 2.33 vs 2.16 +/- 2.12, 11.76 +/- 3.55 vs 9.00 +/- 3.62, all P < 0.05). The Brunnstrom movement function grade was significantly improved in both groups after treatment (both P < 0.01), which was more obvious in the observation group (P < 0.05). The joint range of hemiplegic hand was improved in both groups after treatment (both P < 0.01), which was more obvious in the observation group [differences before and after treatment: (25.35 +/- 10.91) degrees vs (18.65 +/- 7.86) degrees, p < 0.05]. The score of BI was also significantly improved after treatment in two groups (both P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe Jingjin acupuncture could effectively improve fine activity of hemiplegic hand in recovery period of stroke prove daily life ability.

Scansite is a short linear motif-based scanning approach established in the latest two years. It's accessible over the World Wide Web and can be used to identify sequence motifs likely to be phosphorylated by specific protein kinases or likely to bind to specific protein domains such as 14-3-3, SH2 and SH3 domains. The usage and function of the potent approach were reviewed and compared with previously established tools for phosphorylation prediction. The facing problems and application outlook of Scansite in prediction of cell signaling networks within proteomes were also presented.

Liver fibrosis is a common pathological process for chronic liver injury caused by multiple etiological factors and an inevitable phase leading to liver cirrhosis. According to the previous studies, hesperidin (HDN) shows a very good protective effect on CCl4-induced chemical hepatic fibrosis in rats. In this experiment, based on the findings of the previous studies, a platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)-induced HSC-T6 model was established to observe the inhibitory effect of HDN on HSC-T6 proliferation. The ELISA method was adopted to detect the content of collagen I in HSC-T6 supernatant. Transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta1, Smad2, Smad3, Smad7 and connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) mRNA expressions were measured by RT-PCR; TGF-beta1 and CT-GF protein expressions in HSC-T6 were determined by Western blot, in order to study HDN's effect on TGF-beta1 signaling pathway in HSC and its potential action mechanism. The results demonstrated that HDN could notably improve HSC-T6 proliferation, Collagen I growth and TGF-beta1, Smad2, Smad3 and CTGF mRNA.expressions. After being intervened with HDN, it could notably inhibit HSC-T6 proliferation and Collagen I growth, reduce TGF-beta1, Smad2, Smad3 and CTGF mRNA and TGF-beta1, CTGF protein expressions and increase Smad7 mRNA expression. HDN's antihepatic fibrosis effect may be related to the inhibition of HSC proliferation and activation by modulating TGF-beta/Smad signaling pathway.

The Journal of Practical Medicine 2014;(21):3444-3446
Objective To analyze the influential factors of healthy children′s heart rate turbulence (HRT). Methods One hundred and six healthy children with ventricular premature beat (VPB) were selected in this study and the correlation among HTR parameters as turbulence onset (TO) and turbulence lope (TS) and age, gender, basic heart rate, the number of VPBs were analyzed. Results It was observed that among three age groups, TO decreased with the age, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05), but there was no significant gender difference (all P > 0.05). TS increased with the age, and intergroup difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). In the group of children aged over seven, significantly higher TS was observed among boys (P < 0.05), while in the group of children aged 1 to 3 and the group aged 3 to 7 , there was no significant gender difference (P > 0.05). TO and TS decreased with the decline of heart rate (r = 0.494, P < 0.00; r = -0.569,P < 0.00 respectively), and the correlation between TO and HR, TS and HR was found. The number of VPBs had no significant correlation with TO or TS (r = 0.104,P = 0.290; r = 0.122,P =0.212). Conclusions The results demonstrate that influenced by age and basic heart rate, healthy children′s HRT increases with the age and the decline of heart rate. Therefore, the reference index of children′s HRT should differ from that of adults, which requires further evaluation.

The chemical ingredients of sediments from single Radix Aconiti Lateralis (Fuzi, in Chinese) decoction and Radix Aconiti Lateralis-Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, in Chinese) decoction were evaluated separately by HPLC-MS for exploring their ingredients difference and discussing the mechanism of toxicity reduction of Fuzi-Gaocao herb-pair, even providing the experimental basis for extracting and purifying process of TCM preparations containing Fuzi-Gancao herb-pair. The sediments samples from single Fuzi decoction (FD) and Fuzi-Gaocao decoction (FGD) were prepared separately firstly. Then these samples were analyzed in the same chromatographic and mass spectrometry condition, estimating their HPLC-MS fingerprint and identifying their compounds by Q-TOFMS. As a result, 28 compounds in sediments samples from FD were obtained, among which 25 compounds and structures were confirmed. Besides, 36 compounds in sediments samples from FGD sample were obtained including 34 confirmed compounds and structures, among which there were 11 compounds from Gancao and 25 compounds from Fuzi. However, according to these confirmed compounds, alkaloids compounds in sediments samples from FGD were significantly different from that in sediments samples from FD. This result showed the fact that there would be some influences on alkaloid compounds in decoction after the combination of Gancao. In this study, the experiment basis of the mechanism of toxicity reduction of Fuzi-Gaocao herb-pair is provided. It also showed that much attention should be paid to the fact that there were great amount of alkaloid compounds, the effective compounds, in the sediments for which a comprehensive utilization in clinic and pharmaceutical process should be noted.
