3.Research progress in role of nuclear factor E2-related factor2 in regulating development of cirrhotic portal hypertension
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2015;21(2):137-140
Cirrhotic portal hypertension is associated with both increased intrahepatic vascular resistance and hyperdynamic circulation. These two pathogical changes of portal hypertension can be contributed to the unusually high or unusually low levels of vasodilator in liver and splanchnic organs.Vascular hyporesponsiveness due to reactive oxygen species is also a key factor which accounts for portal hemodynamic abnormalities.Transcription factor nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2),known by its role in anti-oxygenation,can initiate and enhance transcription of antioxidant response element (ARE) when exposure to oxidative stress occures.Related influence on expression of nitric oxide, carbon monoxide and their coenzymes has also been demonstrated for decades. The potential clinical significance will be unfolded if changes of Nrf2 expression,as well as the way modulating Nrf2,are found in cirrhotic portal hypertension.
4.Delta-like ligand 4 and tumor treatment
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(5):352-354
Up-regulation of DLL4 contributes to the angiogenesis in malignant tumors, and thus promote tumor growth. While down-regulation of DLL4 would cause antiangiogenesis and restrain tumor growth through forming a large number of no-function blood vessels. Thus it can be used in anti-VEGF tolerant tumors. Recently, DLL4 monoclonal antibody agents have entered clinic studies, and has achieved good curative effect in anti-VEGF tolerant tumors, but there are also some side effects. DLL4 would bring higher clinic value for cancer therapy if the side effects can be prevented effectively.
5.Application of 18F-NaF PET/CT in patients with bone metastasis from prostate cancer
Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging 2017;37(2):108-110
There has been a growing number of prostate cancer patients in our country, and most of the patients suffer with bone metastases.Although more and more new drugs are reported for the treatment of prostate cancer, tumor local recurrence or metastasis occur within the 10 years after treatment. The diagnostic sensitivity of 18F-NaF PET/CT for bone metastases from prostate cancer is high.18F-NaF PET/CT not only can locate the lesion precisely, evaluate the drug efficacy quantitatively, but also can be used to follow up prostate cancer patients. This review is focused on the application of 18F-NaF PET/CT in bone metastases from prostate cancer.

Objective To investigate graduating nursing students′expected pressure, stress levels, nursing identification degree and their influence factors, provide a reference for hospitals and schools to enact measures to reduce pressure and improve nursing identification degree. Methods It was a cross-sectional survey. Three hundred and sixty- one graduating nursing students were selected and investigated by graduating nursing students′expected work pressure and expected resources before starting a career. Results Graduating nursing students′expected stress score was (2.13±0.53) points, nursing identification degree score was (2.57±0.57) points and they were both at median level and effected by several personal internal and external factors. Nursing students expected getting help from hospitals, schools and interpersonal aspects before starting a career. Conclusions Excepted stress and nursing identification degree are influenced by kinds of factors. Hospitals and schools should know about their expected requirements and enact measures to reduce pressure and improve nursing identification degree in time to keep nursing talent.

International Eye Science 2014;(12):2176-2178
As one of the serious complications of diabetes, diabetic retinopathy( DR) has become a main eye disease which causes blindness. The occurrence and development of DR is related to many factors. The pathogenesis is complicated, and the mechanism has not been clear. Early data suggest that the occurrence and development of DR has relations with many factors such as blood sugar level, diabetes duration and the environment. Among the factors, mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress is the important mechanisms of DR and has become research focus in recent years. Consequences of mitochondrial dysfunction within cells include elevation of the rate of reactive oxygen species( ROS) production due to damage of electron transport chain proteins, mitochondrial DNA ( mtDNA ) damage, and loss of metabolic capacity. Clear understanding on the mechanism of mitochondrial functional change under high sugar level and oxidative stress response in the occurrence and development of DR is of great significance on prevention and cure of DR. ln this article, the development of mitochondrial metabolism and oxidative stress of DR is reviewed.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(4):641-649
BACKGROUND:Guided tissue regeneration and bone grafting are a hot spot in the treatment of periodontal bone defect caused by severe periodontitis, but a smal sample size in clinical research wil lead to bias. OBJECTIVE:To systematical y evaluate the effect of guided tissue regeneration combined with bone grafting in the treatment of periodontal bone defect, and explore its feasibility, thus providing evidence for clinical application. METHODS:A computer-based search of PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMbase, CNKI, CqVip and WanFang databases was performed for articles about the guided tissue regeneration and bone graft for periodontal bone defects, published from 2000 to 2016. The keywords were“guided tissue regeneration, bone grafts, periodontal bone defects”in English and Chinese, respectively. The literature selection, data col ection and evaluation of bias were conducted by two researchers independently, and then quality assessment of the included 12 randomized control ed tests was conducted, fol owed by Meta-analysis using Revman 5.3 software. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:A total of 12 studies were enrol ed, including 414 teeth (228 of which in the experimental group and 216 in the control group). Meta-analysis results showed that compared with the single flap surgery, guided tissue regeneration combined with bone graft could reduce periodontal probing depth by 1.18 mm gingival, make a gingival recession by 0.23 mm, reduce alveolar bone defect depth by 1.57 mm, and increase clinical attachment level by 2.03 mm (P<0.05). Compared with guided tissue regeneration technique, guided tissue regeneration combined with bone graft made probing depth increase by 0.34 mm, alveolar bone defect depth reduce by 0.73 mm, gingival recession reduce 0.35 mm and clinical attachment level increase by 0.63 mm (P<0.05). Compared with bone graft, guided tissue regeneration combined with bone graft made periodontal probing depth reduce by 0.11 mm, clinical attachment levels increase by 0.04 mm and gingival recession increase by 0.13 mm (P>0.05). These results reveal that for moderate to severe chronic periodontitis with periodontal bone defects, guided tissue regeneration combined with bone graft has better clinical effects than simply flap surgery and guided tissue regeneration, but has no significant differences from the bone graft surgery. Herein, we have not yet classified the membrane materials, bone materials and bone substitutes, and there is stil a lack of high-quality and large-sample randomized control ed trials.
