Objective To explore the efficacy of fluconazole mouthwash by means of oxygen-driven atomizing inhalation for treating the pediatric oral fungal infections. Methods A total of 60 cases of child patient from the department of Pediatrics of Jiaozhou People's Hospital have been selected and divided into control group and test group with 30 cases for each group by the method of random number table. The sodium bicarbonate solutions as well as the fluconazole capsules were used for the two groups of children patients. Everyday there were five doses of sodium bicarbonate solution as follows:one after getting up in the morning, one after breakfast/lunch/dinner, and one before bedtime by gargling for three minutes followed by spitting. Daily dose of fluconazole capsules was 3 mg/kg, with 50 ml of NS added for preparing a solution of 1-3 mg/ml. Differences between the two groups are as follows. The control group used the traditional method of gargling. The prepared fluconazole solution was divided into five doses for gargling followed by swallowing which were carried out two hours after the sodium bicarbonate solution. The test group used the oxygen-driven atomizing inhalation therapy. The intervals with the sodium bicarbonate solution were two hours. Before the oxygen-driven atomizing inhalation therapy, the children patients had gargled with water to remove the food debris inside the mouth. Next, the daily dose was divided into five doses to be added into the nebulizers for carrying out the oxygen-driven atomizing inhalation therapy focusing on the exposed ulcer areas. The difference in healing time of oral fungal infection of different position and degree between both groups of child patient has been observed. Results The healing time of oral mucositis at different position of both groups has been compared with each other, with the exception of gingival position, the healing time of child patients in test group at the position of cheek, palate, tongue, pharynx, lips and so on was respectively (6.67±1.68) d, (6.38±1.80) d, (6.36±1.96) d, (6.50±1.60) d and (5.00±0.82) d, which were all better than that of the control group, which was (8.13 ± 2.13) d,(8.00 ± 2.14) d,(8.23 ± 2.13) d, (8.67 ± 1.75) d and (7.20 ± 1.48) d, the difference between both groups was statistically significant(t=2.14-2.64, P<0.05);the healing time of child patients in test group with a degree ranging from I to IV was respectively (5.10±0.88) d, (7.92±1.32) d,(8.00±1.00 )d and (10.25±0.96)d,which were all better than that of the control group, which was(6.36±0.81)d,(9.00±1.29) d,(10.33 ± 0.58)d and(12.33 ± 0.58)d,the difference between both groups was statistically significant(t=2.10-3.50,P<0.05). Conclusions It's suitable for oral care of children patients if we replace the fluconazole mouthwash with the oxygen-driven atomizing inhalation therapy which can reduce the severity of oral mucositis and shorten the healing time.

Objective To investigate the pharmacological mechanism of LXHX capsule. Methods The skin specimens from psoriasis patients were examined with TUNEL (terminal deoxynucleotidyl trans-ferase-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling) technique to detect the apoptosis of keratinocytes. PCNA (proliferating cell nuclear antigen) detecting kits was used, too. Then, the flow cytometry, with AnnexinV/PI and PI dyeing method, was used to analysis the effect of LXHX capsule on apoptosis in cultured keratinocytes. Results There was an increasing of both cell apoptosis and proliferation in psoriatic epidermis and LXHX capsule could induce apoptosis. Conclusions The keratinocyte apoptosis and proliferation both increased in psoriasis, which reach a new balance in a higher level. LXHX capsule could induce apoptosis in vitro, which may be one of the pharmacological mechanisms of LXHX in treating psoriasis.

Objective:
To investigate the prevalence of scoliosis among primary and middle school students in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, so as to provide insights into scoliosis control among children and adolescents.
Methods:
Grade 4 to 6 primary school students and grade 1 to 3 junior high school students were recruited using a stratified cluster sampling method in Jiaxing City in 2019. Participants' demographic characteristics, dietary habits and nutritional status, physical activity, learning environments, reading and writing habits were collected using questionnaires. Scoliosis was screened through general examinations, forward bend test and scoliometer, and scoliosis was diagnosed with whole-spine X-ray scans in an erect position. The prevalence of scoliosis was descriptively analyzed among primary and middle school students.
Results:
A total of 8 026 primary and middle school students were included, 7 304 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 91.00%. The respondents included 3 667 primary school students (50.21%) and 3 637 junior high school students (49.79%), and included 3 776 boys (51.70%) and 3 528 girls (48.30%). There were 659 participants with initial screening positive for scoliosis (9.02%), and the percentages of positive initial screening of thoracic, thoracolumbar and lumbar scoliosis were 2.93%, 4.56% and 4.56%, respectively. A higher percentage of positive initial screening of scoliosis was diagnosed among participants living in Pinghu City (10.45%), junior high school students (11.74%), girls (11.96%), students with a medical history of anemia (22.44%), students with less than 3 days of moderate-intensity physical activity in the past week (9.46%), students with less than 3 days of walking duration of over 10 minutes in the past week (10.18%), students with daily sitting duration of 5 hours and more in the past week (10.74%), students with their class seats exchanged every semester or month (10.28%), students with daily reading and writing duration of 3 hours and more after school (10.93%) and students with less than 10 cm distance from the chest at reading or writing to the edge of the table (9.67%) (all P<0.05). A total of 218 students received whole-spine X-ray scans in an erect position, 132 participants were definitively diagnosed as scoliosis (60.55%), and the estimated prevalence of scoliosis was 5.46%.
Conclusion
The percentage of positive initial screening of scoliosis was 9.02% among primary and middle school students in Jiaxing City. Gender, stage of learning, nutritional status, exercise frequency and habits of reading and writing may be factors affecting the development of scoliosis.

To research the effect of continuous cropping on cotton soil microorganisms and soil microorgan-isms on grow of cotton,we studied the total numbers of aerobic self-nitrogen-fixing bacteria, potassium bacteria, cellulose decomposing bacteria, phosphate solubilizing bacteria,organic-phosphorus-dissolving bacteria distributed in continuous cropping cotton fields of regimental farm 2 and 3 of the first agricultural division through dilution spread plate method. Results showed that the total numbers of five kinds of bacte-ria was highest in blooming and bolling periods, lowest in seeding periods and higher in before sowing pe-riods.The total numbers of five kinds of bacteria was no notable regular changes with continuous cropping year. The numbers of aerobic self-nitrogen-fixing bacteria at different cotton growth stages in regimental farm 2 was higher than in regimental farm 3 and the numbers change of other bacteria was varied in different cotton growth stages in regimental farm 2 and 3.Soil beneficial bacteria were negatively correlated with a variety of soil nutrient ion and free-living nitrogen fixing bacteria were significantly positive correlated with soil total nitrogen.
8.Malignant Hyperthermia during Anesthesia .
Korean Journal of Anesthesiology 1976;9(2):163-170
Malignant hyperthermia is a well-recognized syndrome of uncertain etiology. The confusing facts are: the variety and different nature of the triggering agents, the variation in time of onset of rigidity and fever coupled with a variation in response to succinylcholine, the lack of family history in some patients, and its occurence in some who have had previously normal general anesthetics. A case is a 23 year old relatively healthy male patient in whom subtotal gastrectomy was performed under N2O-O2-ether and gallamine anesthesia with induction after pentothal sodium and succinylcholine. This was complicated by an abrupt, high rise in body temperature, muscle rigidity, flushing with peripheral cyanosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation and hyperpnea 40 minutes after induction. He died 3 hours after cessation of anesthesia without effective response to any active antipyretic therapy. The etiologic factors, incidence, clinical feature, prevention, treatment and prognosis of malignant hyperthermia are discussed.

Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2002;18(2):128-131
AIMOur previous studies showed that electroacupuncture (EA) could inhibited radiant heat induced pain and acute or chronic inflammatory pain in rats. In the present study, we observed whether EA with different frequencies could suppress neuropathic pain.
METHODSL5/L6 nerve ligation model was used to assess the effect of EA on neuropathic pain. Mechanical allodynia was represented by 50% withdrawal threshold, while cold-induced ongoing pain was detected by the number of paw lift in 5 min when the rat was put on a 5 degrees cold plate. Han's acupoint nerve stimulator (HANS) was connected to needles inserted into acupoints "jiaji" and "Zusanli" in both sides. The parameters were: (intensity: 0.5-1-2 mA, 10 min each; frequency 2 Hz or 100 Hz; pulse width: 0.6 ms for 2 Hz, 0.2 ms for 100 Hz).
RESULTSEA of both 2 Hz and 100 Hz could relieve the mechanical allodynia, where 2 Hz could induce the effect with shorter latency; they could also relieve the cold-induced ongoing pain, where the effect of 2 Hz outlasted the EA session by up to 48 h after repetitive stimulations over several weeks; a significant relieving effect on cold-induced ongoing pain could also be induced by needle insertion without stimulation.
CONCLUSIONEA could relieve neuropathic pain, the analgesic effect of 2 Hz EA is higher than 100 Hz EA.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(2):185-191
The tissue-specific and MeJA-induced transcriptional levels of BcUGT3 and BcUGT6 in Bupleurum chinense were analyzed in the present study. The transcriptional levels of BcUGT3 in root, leaf, flower and fruit were similar and they all were higher than those in stem. The transcriptional level of BcUGT6 was the highest in leaf and the lowest in flower among in all tested tissues. With non-treated adventitious roots as control, BcUGT6's transcriptional levels were elevated to nearly 2 folds for 2 h, 8 h, 24 h, 2 d and 4 d in MeJA-treated adventitious roots of B. chinense. It showed that the transcriptional level of BcUGT6 was slightly affected by MeJA. While, BcUGT3's transcriptional levels were gradually elevated, and till 4 d after MeJA treatment, the expression level was about 7 folds than that of non-treated control. Using pET-28a (+), the expressions of two genes was investigated. Induced by IPTG, the target proteins were expressed in E. coli and then purified. All the results obtained in the present study will be helpful for follow-up bio-function analysis of BcUGT3 and BcUGT6.
