Objective To examine the role of synthetic cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) in T cell autoreactivity in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by detecting T cell proliferation. Methods Twenty-nine RA, 8 primary Sjo gren syndrome (pSS) and 16 osteoarthritis (OA) patients were included in this study. Proliferation of T cells was measured by methyltetiazolium incorporation following incubation with CCP. Results T cell response to CCP was more common in RA patients than in controls. The response rate to CCP was higher in late RA than in early RA. However, the response wasn′t associated with disease activity. A strong association between T cell proliferation and RF, anti-CCP antibody was observed. Conclusions T cell proliferation in response to CCP was found in the majority of RA patients, even in early RA, suggesting that the citrullinated peptide play an important role in the pathogenesis of RA.

So it has very high application value in ophthalmologic operation. In this paper, we studied the development and application of wide - angle viewing system in vitreoretinal surgery in recent years, from which we summed up the advantage of non - contact wide - angle viewing system in clinical field, and pointed out the shortcomings. The ultimate goal is to make the non -contact wide - angle viewing system better applied in vitreous surgery.

Aim To investigate the Yiqi Yangyin Qingre Oral Liquid(YYQ) on insulin resistance in hyperglycemic fatty rats.Methods The model of hyperglycemic fatty rats was induced by intravenous injection with a low dose of streptozotocin(STZ) and a fed high fat and high caloric diet.The YYQ was given via gavage for a period of 4 weeks.The fasting blood glucose(FBG),oral glucose tolerance(OGT),serum insulin(INS),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),free fatty acid(FFA)levels,glucose infusion rate(GIR) by euglycemic hyperinsulinemic clamp technique as well as erythrocyte insulin receptors(INSR)of rats were tested when the experiment was finished.The weight of the epididymal fat pads and the perirenal fat pads were measured.The IR,IRS-1mRNA expressions in liver tissue were measured by RT-PCR technology.Results YYQ treatment decreased the levels of FBG,TC,TG,LDL-C,FFA and increased the level of HDL-C in hyperglycemic fatty rats.As compared with the model rats,glucose tolerance was improved and body weight was reduced in hyperglycemic fatty rats treated with YYQ.Moreover,YYQ treatment upregulated IR,IRS-1mRNA expressions in liver tissue and increased insulin receptor amounts on the erythrocytes surface as well as GIR in the hyperinsulinemic euglycemic clamp experiment.Conclusions YYQ ameliorated insulin resistance in hyperglycemic fatty rats,and its mechanism might be related to increment of INSR and stimulation of insulin pathway.

Retinoblastoma(RB)is the most common intraocular malignancy of children with extremely poor prognosis. MicroRNAs are small non-coding single-stranded RNAs in eukaryotic cells, which regulate the expression of gene by mRNA degradation or translation inhibition. MicroRNAs, acting as oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes, are associated with the occurrence and development of RB directly, which is vital for the early diagnosis and clinical targeted therapy of RB. This review summarized the expression of microRNAs in RB and the related mechanism.

Objective To investigate the significance and distribution of lymphopenia and antilymphocyte antibody(ALA) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and to explore the role of ALA in lympho penia.Methods One hundred and ten in-patients who were admitted during February 2003 to February 2008 were retrospectively reviewed.Indirect immunofluorescence test was used to detect ALA.Results ① Lymphopenia (＜1.5×109/L) was observed in 68.2% patients.Lymphopenia was associated with skin rashes,serositis,renal involvement,NPSLE,leucopenia,ANA,ds-DNA antibody,ESR and IgG levels.The lymphocyte count and SLEDAI scores was more closely correlated than total white blood cell counts.②ALA was positive in 51/110 (46.4%) patients.ALA was associated with renal involvement,NPSLE,WBC count,C3 level decrease,ANA,dsDNA antibody and SLEDAI scores.Conclusion Lymphopenia is significantly associated with SLEDAI scores.ALA is possibly one cause of lymphcytopenia.In addition,ALA is also a parameter for disease activity,and is associated with organ involvement and outcomes.

Cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs) offer a non-selective and receptor-independent mode to promote cellular uptake. Although the non-specificity of CPP-mediated internalization allows this approach applicable to a wide range of tumor types potentially, their universality is a significant obstacle to their clinical utility for targeted delivery of cancer therapeutics and imaging agents. Accordingly, many reports have focused on selective switching of systemically delivered inert CPPs into their active form in lesions (tumor). In this review, our attention is mainly confined to such an enzyme-sensitive domain incorporated delivery system with activatable CPPs (ACPPs), which have displayed the exciting strength in balancing the CPPs' pros and cons, and potential in the treatment and diagnosis of some diseases.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic efficacy of MRI and bone scintigraphy in the detection of bone metastasis from prostate cancer.Methods One hundred and eighty-three patients suspected of prostate cancer were recruited in this study.All the patients were examined by pelvic MRI and bone scintigraphy.According to the integragted clinical diagnosis,the patients were categorized as metastastic group and non-metastatic group.SPSS 11.0 was used to analyze the data.Results Bone metastasis were identified in 37 of the 183 patients.In the 24 patients whose MRI results demonstrated bone metastasis,all of them were convinced of bone metastasis(24/24,100%).In the 159 patients whose MRI results revealed no bone metastasis,only 4 of them(4/159,2.52%)were detected bone metastasis by bone scintigraphy.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of MRI in the detection of bone metastasis was 78.38%,87.0% and 85.25%,respectively.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of bone scintigrapy in the detection of bone metastasis was 94.59%,62.33% and 68.85%,respectively.The specificity and accuracy of MRI in the prediction of bone metastasis were higher than that of bone scintigraphy(? 2=23.458,P=0.000;? 2=13.906,P=0.000),whereas the sensitivity of bone scintigraphy in the detection of bone metastasis was higher than that of MRI(? 2=4.163,P=0.041).Conclusion With the negative findings of the pelvic MRI,the probability of bone metastasis diagnosed by bone scintigraphy was fairly low.So even with the limitation range of the pelvic MRI examination,it is useful in the prediction of bone metastasis from prostate cancer.

Objective To retrospectively analyze the value of postoperative adjuvant therapy in the treatment of stageⅢthoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma ( ESCC) . Methods From 2008 to 2011, a total of 395 patients with stageⅢthoracic ESCC undergoing radical resection were enrolled as subjects. In those patients.97 received surgery alone (S).212 postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy (POCT),and 86 postoperative radiotherapy (PORT).Comparison of categorical data was made by chi?square test. The survival rates were calculated by the Kaplan?Meier method. The log?rank test was used for between?group comparison and univariate analysis. Results All patients were followed up for at least 3 years.125 cases were followed up for at least 5 years. The 5?year overall survival ( OS) rates in patients treated with S,POCT and PORT were 17. 1%,29. 2% and 36. 4%,respectively (P=0. 000).POCT and PORT could mainly increased OS in patients of males.upper?and middle?segment,severe ahhesion at surgery.well?or middle?differentiation,stageⅢa andⅢb(P=0. 000?0. 049);whenever ages.tumor lesion,two?/three field esophagectomy.and the number of removal lymph nodes. Conclusions In the treatment of patients with stage Ⅲ thoracic ESCC undergoing radical resection,both POCT and PORT can improve the OS rate, particularly in patients with stage Ⅲa or Ⅲb middle and upper thoracic ESCC, severe adhesion formation during surgery. and moderately or well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. The DFS rate is improved in patients treated with PORT,but not in those treated with POCT.

Objective: To compare the efficacy difference between moxibustion at sensitized-acupoints and non-sensitized- acupoints using the same group of acupoints. Methods: A total of 139 patients with chronic superficial gastritis were divided into a sensitized acupoint group (102 cases) and a non-sensitized acupoint group (37 cases) based on whether acupoint sensitization occurred. The SPSS version 19.0 statistical software propensity score matching function was used to balance the baseline data between the groups. Finally, 29 pairs of matched patients were included, namely 29 cases in the sensitized acupoint group and 29 cases in the non-sensitized acupoint group. Both groups were treated with moxibustion therapy. The treatment lasted for 30 min per time, and was performed every other day for 8 weeks. Changes in the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptom score and the short-form 36-item health survey (SF-36) score in both groups were observed before and after treatment, as well as the clinical efficacy. Results: The covariates of age, course of disease, TCM symptom score and SF-36 score in the two groups were balanced after matching (all P>0.05). After treatment, the total effective rate was 100.0％ in the sensitized acupoint group and 79.3％ in the non-sensitized acupoint group. The difference in the total effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.01). After treatment and at the 4-week follow-up, the TCM symptom scores in the sensitized acupoint group were significantly lower than those in the non-sensitized acupoint group (all P<0.01); the SF-36 scores in the sensitized acupoint group were significantly higher than those in the non-sensitized acupoint group (all P<0.01). Conclusion: With the same group of acupoints, the sensitized acupoints have a better therapeutic effect and long-term efficacy than the non-sensitized acupoints in the treatment of chronic superficial gastritis.
