1.The study on relationship of mental health and personality traits of higher vocational college students
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the relationship of mental health and the personality traits of higher vocational college students. Methods Using CCSMHS and NEO-FFI,679 higher vocational College Students from 4 Hunan Vocational College were investigated. Results ①A few people of higher vocational college students had obvious psychological symptoms, and more people were in a state of sub-health. ②The personality trait of female higher vocational college students is different from that of the male significantly. There is no significant difference between different grades and different disciplines. ③There was a significant relation between the mental health of higher vocational college students and a number of personality traits. Conclusion The personality traits are the main factors influencing mental health of higher vocational college students.
2.Influencing Factors on the Properties of Bone Scaffolds and Their Manufacturing Techniques.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(2):480-484
To serve as carriers of cells and bioactive molecules, three-dimensional scaffolds play a key role in bone defect repair. The chemical component and microstructure of the scaffold can affect the mechanical properties and seed cells. A variety of fabrication techniques have been used in producing scaffolds, some made random porous structure, some created well-designed structure using rapid prototyping methods, and others prepared bio-derived materials as scaffolds. However, scaffolds may vary in their inner structure, mechanical properties and repairing efficiency as well because of different manufacturing methods. In this review, we overview the main achievements concerning the effects of material and microstructure on the mechanical performance, seed cells and defect repair of bone scaffolds.

5.Reproducibility of Gleason scores in prostate cancer.
National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(1):37-41
OBJECTIVETo investigate the reproducibility of Gleason scores for prostate cancer.
METHODSBased on the revised Gleason Scoring System of the International Society of Urological Pathology ( ISUP) , we analyzed the reproducibility and difference of Gleason scores in 49 cases of prostate cancer using the methods of combination and grouping.
RESULTSThe total reproducibility of Gleason scores among 15 pathologists was good (κ = 0.642), 62.2% by the combination method, the highest in Gleason 5 + 5 (81.2%) and 5 +4 (73.3%), then in Gleason 4 + 4 (67.5%), 3 + 3 (64.0%), 4 +3 (61.3%), and 3 + 4 (44.0%), and the lowest in Gleason 4 + 5 (38.9%) and 3 + 5 (33.3%). The total reproducibility of Gleason scores by the grouping method was 71.4%, the highest in Gleason 9-10 (84.9%) , then in Gleason 7 (76.7%) and 6 (64.0%), and the lowest in Gleason 8 (60.7%).
CONCLUSIONThe reproducibility of Gleason scores remains to be further improved in prostate cancer, mainly concerning the understanding of Gleason 3 and 4 carcinoma.

7.Screw problem in operative treatment of calcaneal fractures
Xiaofeng GONG ; Yong WU ; Liang HE
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2004;0(08):-
Objective To summarize the early complications caused by the screws of AO titanium plate in the operative treatment of the displaced intraarticular calcaneus fracture (DIACFs). Methods 60 patients with calcaneal fractures were treated with ORIF (open reduction with internal fixation) using the AO plate. Results All the cases were followed up for 22 months. There appeared 1 case of screw loosening and 2 cases of improper screw location. Conclusion Although the AO titanium plate can improve the anatomic restoration of the calcaneus shape, sufficient preoperative preparation should be made to secure accurate placement of the screws so that the screw problems can be reduced.

Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2006;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE To study the expressions and significance of Fas/APO-1 protein and caspase-3 in human middle ear cholesteatoma and to investigate the relationship between their expressions and the apoptosis of cholesteatoma. METHODS The specimens from the middle ear cholesteatoma tissue of 20 cases and external ear skin of 10 cases were examined by immunohistochemical SP method and TUNEL method. RESULTS There was a significant difference in the expressions of Fas/APO-1 and caspase-3 positive cells between choleseatoma epithelium and normal external ear canal skin(P

Chinese Journal of Urology 2001;0(09):-
Objective To study the changes of detrusor microvessel density and apoptosis related factor PCNA and Bax in different phase of partial bladder outlet obstruction. Methods Forty Wistar rats were divided into control(n =10), sham-operation(n =10) , two-week obstruction( n = 10) and five-week obstruction group(n = 10). The expression of detrusor microvessel density and apoptosis related factors PCNA and Bax were evaluated with immunohistochemistry method. Results The average weight of bladder was (125.5?10. 1) ,(128.5?8.9) ,(380.0?12.4) ,(400.0?12.5) mg in control, sham-operation, two-week obstruction and five-week obstruction group, respectively. The difference between control, sham-operation group and obstruction group was significant (P 0. 05 ) . The expression of microvessel density was 2. 1?1.3,13.3?2.3,36.4?4. 1 and 37.3?5.6 in control, sham-operation, two-week obstruction and five-week obstruction group, respectively. The difference between control, sham-operation group and obstruction group was significant ( P 0. 05 ). The expression of PCNA was (38. 2?17. 2)% , (39. 4?11.4)% , (64. 1?11. 5)% and (46. 2?9. 6)% in control, sham-operation, two-week obstruction and five-week obstruction group, respectively. The difference between control, sham-operation group and obstruction group was significant (P

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1997;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the expression of hyperthermia-induced HSP70 in liver during the different period after heating. Methods SD rats were divided randomly into tow groups:Group A (room control group),rats′ liver tissues were removed at the 4 h,8 h,24 h,36 h and 72 h after anaesthesia respectively.Group B(hyperthermia group) rats were heated up by self-designed heating device (42℃,20 min),and then those liver tissues were harvested at the different time respectively as in the group A. Results HSP70 expression in livers of group B were significantly higher than that in group A(P
