1.Influencing Factors on the Properties of Bone Scaffolds and Their Manufacturing Techniques.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(2):480-484
To serve as carriers of cells and bioactive molecules, three-dimensional scaffolds play a key role in bone defect repair. The chemical component and microstructure of the scaffold can affect the mechanical properties and seed cells. A variety of fabrication techniques have been used in producing scaffolds, some made random porous structure, some created well-designed structure using rapid prototyping methods, and others prepared bio-derived materials as scaffolds. However, scaffolds may vary in their inner structure, mechanical properties and repairing efficiency as well because of different manufacturing methods. In this review, we overview the main achievements concerning the effects of material and microstructure on the mechanical performance, seed cells and defect repair of bone scaffolds.

2.The study on relationship of mental health and personality traits of higher vocational college students
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the relationship of mental health and the personality traits of higher vocational college students. Methods Using CCSMHS and NEO-FFI,679 higher vocational College Students from 4 Hunan Vocational College were investigated. Results ①A few people of higher vocational college students had obvious psychological symptoms, and more people were in a state of sub-health. ②The personality trait of female higher vocational college students is different from that of the male significantly. There is no significant difference between different grades and different disciplines. ③There was a significant relation between the mental health of higher vocational college students and a number of personality traits. Conclusion The personality traits are the main factors influencing mental health of higher vocational college students.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2011;33(2):140-142
Objective To investigate characteristics of TCM syndromes of pulmonary tuberculosis, and to explore new methods for its treatment. Methods TCM syndrome scale was designed to investigate and summarize the characteristic of the syndrome, the syndrome of the general information, and the main clinical symptoms of 516 pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Results The between-group comparison of distribution of TCM syndromes in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis showed statistical difference (P<0.05) . The occurrence rate of TCM syndromes in the 516 pulmonary tuberculosis patients were listed in descending order as follows:syndrome of both Qi and yin deficiency complicated with stasis > syndrome of lung yin deficiency complicated with stasis>syndrome of both Qi and yin deficiency>syndrome of yin deficiency with various with age (P<0.05) . Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 66.15% of the total number in the youth group; Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 78.03% of the total number in the middle-aged group;distribution of TCM syndromes was statistically different with the initial treatment and re-treatment (P<0.05) .Patients with the blood stasis syndrome occupied 72.73% of the total number in the initial group, patients with effulgent fire > lung yin deficiency syndrome.① The distribution of TCM syndromes was statistically various with age (P<0.05) . Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 66.15% of the total number in the youth group; Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 78.03% of the total number in the middle-aged group; Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 78.22% of the total number in the old-aged group. ② The distribution of TCM syndromes was statistically different with the initial treatment and re-treatment (P<0.05) . Patients with the blood stasis syndrome occupied 72.73% of the total number in the initial group, patients with the blood stasis syndrome occupied 75.61% of the total number in the re-treatment group.③ The distribution of TCM syndromes was statistically different with the main symptoms (P< 0.05 ) . Conclusion All 516 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis had Yin deficiency. There were 380 patients had the stasis, occupying 73.64%.Therefore, the methods of nourishing yin and removing blood stasis should be used to treat patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2010;31(5):449-450
Objective To know the etiology distribution and drug resistance in neonate, hope to provide the reference for clinic. Methods The identification and susceptibility of bacteria were detected by culture. Results 583 bacterial strains were identified from total 560 positive samples from 2127 neonate (25.8%).The infection neonates of single bacterial and complex bacterial were 537 and 23 respectively of all 560 patients. The ratio of staphylococcus aureus, klebsiella pneumoniae and E.coli were 29.5%,22.0% and 17.0% respectively in total 560 patients.Staphylococcus Aureus of Resistance to Vancomycin(VRSA) wasn't be found. Conclusion Respiratory tract infection is the major cause of infection in newborn, including staphylococcus aureus, klebsiella pneumoniae and E.coli.

9.Reproducibility of Gleason scores in prostate cancer.
National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(1):37-41
OBJECTIVETo investigate the reproducibility of Gleason scores for prostate cancer.
METHODSBased on the revised Gleason Scoring System of the International Society of Urological Pathology ( ISUP) , we analyzed the reproducibility and difference of Gleason scores in 49 cases of prostate cancer using the methods of combination and grouping.
RESULTSThe total reproducibility of Gleason scores among 15 pathologists was good (κ = 0.642), 62.2% by the combination method, the highest in Gleason 5 + 5 (81.2%) and 5 +4 (73.3%), then in Gleason 4 + 4 (67.5%), 3 + 3 (64.0%), 4 +3 (61.3%), and 3 + 4 (44.0%), and the lowest in Gleason 4 + 5 (38.9%) and 3 + 5 (33.3%). The total reproducibility of Gleason scores by the grouping method was 71.4%, the highest in Gleason 9-10 (84.9%) , then in Gleason 7 (76.7%) and 6 (64.0%), and the lowest in Gleason 8 (60.7%).
CONCLUSIONThe reproducibility of Gleason scores remains to be further improved in prostate cancer, mainly concerning the understanding of Gleason 3 and 4 carcinoma.

Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2006;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE To study the expressions and significance of Fas/APO-1 protein and caspase-3 in human middle ear cholesteatoma and to investigate the relationship between their expressions and the apoptosis of cholesteatoma. METHODS The specimens from the middle ear cholesteatoma tissue of 20 cases and external ear skin of 10 cases were examined by immunohistochemical SP method and TUNEL method. RESULTS There was a significant difference in the expressions of Fas/APO-1 and caspase-3 positive cells between choleseatoma epithelium and normal external ear canal skin(P
