Abstact:Aim To identify whether the petroleum e-ther fraction of Yueju pill (YJ-PE)could exhibit a po-tent rapid antidepressant effect and to investigate the underlying biological mechanism involved. Methods Fourty-four male KM mice were randomly assigned to five groups:the control group (saline group),low dosage of YJ-PE,middle dosage of YJ-PE,high dos-age of YJ-PE and ketamine. After a single drug admin-istration,we used tail suspension test (TST)to test the rapid antidepressant effect of YJ-PE in KMmice at 30 min.Another twenty-four male KM mice were ass-inged to three groups:control group, screened effective low dosage of YJ-PE group and ketamine group. We usd TST to assess these mice at 24 h post a single ad-
ministration.Western blot was performed to examine the expression of BDNF and TrkB in hippocampus of KMmice at 30 min and 24 h post a single administra-tion.Results An acute administration of YJ-PE de-creased the immobility time of KMmice in TST and in-creased the expression of BDNF and TrkB as soon as 30min post a single administration and lasted at least for 24 hours. Conclusion YJ-PE (low dosage)ex-hibits a rapid antidepressant-like potent, and the po-tent rapid antidepressant effects of YJ-PE are associat-ed with the up-regulation of BDNF and TrkB.

When wars, major disasters, or epidemics of the infectious diseases occur, existing medical facilities are usually unable to implement timely and effective treatment for patients, or the reception capacity is difficult to meet the surge in demand for health care. The makeshift emergency hospitals are built for patient reception, treatment and even isolation for infectious disease control. The makeshift hospitals have developed and improved in modern times, including mobile field hospitals, field tent hospitals and navy hospital ships equipped with advanced equipment and commonly used for military purposes, or temporary hospitals built in large public buildings and newly built hospitals in support of disaster relief and humanitarian operation. Makeshift hospitals have played an important role in response to many disasters and epidemics globally. This paper briefly summarizes the history, types, and applications of makeshift hospitals in disasters and epidemic responses.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) on the growth and invasion of gallbladder cancer cells.
METHODSThe CAFs were isolated from human primary gallbladder carcinoma tissues by tissue culture and digestion methods. The cells were purified by differential adhesion method, and the primary cells were identified morphologically and immunocytochemically. The proliferation and invasion of two human gallbladder carcinoma cell lines (SBC-996 and GBC-SD) co-cultured with CAFs were detected by MTT and Transwell chamber assays.
RESULTSGallbladder carcinoma CAFs were isolated successfully by both tissue culture and enzyme digestion methods, and the latter method was more convenient and efficient. MTT and Transwell assays showed that CAFs significantly promoted the proliferation and invasion of the two gallbladder carcinoma cell lines.
CONCLUSIONCAFs can promote the proliferation and invasion of gallbladder carcinoma cells in vitro, suggesting the important role of CAFs in the development of gallbladder carcinoma.

OBJECTIVE:To systematically evaluate the monitoring system for global short drugs, and provide evidence-based reference and policy recommendations for developing the short drug monitoring in China. METHODS:Relevant literatures pub-lished in PubMed,Embase,CNKI,Wanfang,VIP database from building to Apr. 3rd in 2017 were retrieved by using"Drugs (cheap drugs, essential medicines, emergency drugs) storage""Short drugs""Insufficient supply of drugs""Drug shortage"as Chinese keywords, and"Drug storage""Out-of-stock drug""Stortage of medicine""Stock out of medicine"as English keywords. Literatures about monitoring system for short drugs in Baidu,Google and national or regional health administration websites were collected, and general information, data collection, data validation, data reporting method, feedback and improvement measures of monitoring system were extracted. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:Totally 25 literatures were included,20 national or regional health administration websites were retrieved. 11 countries and European Union had established monitoring system for short drugs. The main reporting agencies in each country were different, which were production enterprises, business enterprises and medical in-stitutions. It was mainly reported by network. Data validation was mainly conducted by specialized departments or groups for short drugs in each country. The monitoring reporting included information of short drugs and discontinued drugs. Countermeasures in each country mainly included looking for alternative drugs, encouraging production, temporary import, looking for new or other sources of raw materials and speeding up the approval of short drugs. Besides, precautions included implementation relevant laws and guidelines for short drugs, and increasing the cooper-ation with non-government departments, etc. Monitoring sys-tem for short drugs needs to be further improved in China. Itis suggested to establish monitoring and early warning platform for short drugs, and hierarchical intervention mechanism,improv-ing relevant laws and developing guidelines on managing short drugs.
