1.Clinical Study of Ginkgobiloba Extract in the Treatment of Epilepsy
Herald of Medicine 2001;(2):98-
Objective:To study the clinical value of ginkgobiloba extract in the treatment of epilepsy.Method:68 patients were divided into two groups, the control group and the treatment group. The patients in the control group were treated with sodium phenytoin, tegretol,or diazepam. In the treatment group, ginkgobiloba extract was given in addition to the antiepilepsy drugs used in the former group. Results:In the treatment group, the total effective rate were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Ginkgobiloba extract was a safe and effective addition to the pool of antiepilepsy drugs.

Objective To investigate the protective effect and the possible mechanism of intravenous infusion with perfluorocarbon pretreatment and posttreatment on acute lung injury in rats on LPS-induced acute lung injury in rats. Methods A total of 24 Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:control group(NS group),LPS group,Pre group and Post group.Normal saline was given to NS group as a control.Rats were treated with LPS by intratracheal instillation in LPS group, rats received PFC through femoral vein.prior to LPS instillation in Pre group and rats received PFC through femoral vein after LPS instillation in Post group.NS group were sacrificed at 6 h after being injected with NS,LPS group,Pre group and Post group were sacrificed at 6h after being given LPS.Pathological changes of king,PaO2,lung wet to dry weight ratio (W/D),expression of myeloperoxidase (MPO) and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) of lung were assessed. Results Intravenous.infusion with perfluorocarbons increased PaO2,decreased W/D,MPO and ICAM-1 significantly (P<0.05),and this effect is more remarkable in Pre group. Conclusion Intravenous infusion of PFC significantly protects lung from acute lung injury, especially by pretreatment forms, probably by down-regulate the expression of ICAM-1.

Objective:
To explore the imaging manifestations of multi-slice spiral CT angiography (CTA) and relationship with in-hospital death in patients with aortic dissection (AD).
Methods:
The clinical data of 429 patients with AD who underwent CTA in Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University between January 2009 and January 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. AD patients were divided into 2 groups, including operation group who underwent surgery or interventional therapy (370 cases) and non-operation group who underwent medical conservative treatment(59 cases). The multi-slice spiral CTA imaging features of AD were analyzed, and multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to investigate the relationship between imaging manifestations and in-hospital death in AD patients.
Results:
There were 12 cases (3.24%) of in-hospital death in operation group, and 28 cases (47.46%) of in-hospital death in non-operation group(
