Objective To evaluate the effect of beat to beat alterations in the cardiac cycle length on systolic flow velocity patterns of the pulmonary vein in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF).Methods Pulmonary vein flow was recorded in 20 control subjects and 74 patients with AF (16 with nonvalvular AF,22 with mild to middle mitral stenosis, and 36 with severe mitral stenosis) by transesophageal echocardiography. The peak velocities of the early systolic reversal wave (PVR) and the systolic forward wave (PVS) were measured. The relationships between the preceding R-R intervals and PVR,PVS were analyzed. Results The early systolic reversal wave was detected in all patients with AF.PVR was significantly lower in patients with severe mitral stenosis than that in patients with nonvalvular AF and mild to middle mitral stenosis. The preceding R-R interval had a significant negative correlation with PVR.PVS was significantly lower in patients with AF than that in controls. The preceding R-R interval had a significant positive correlation with PVS.Conclusions PVR and the systolic forward wave vary with disease conditions and preceding R-R intervals in atrial fibrillation. The evaluation of systolic pulmonary venous flow velocity patterns provides important information about left atrial hemodynamic abnormalities.

China Pharmacy 1991;0(01):-
OBJECTIVE:To try to establish a combined serum-pharmacology and electrophysiology method for the study of mechanism of chuanxiong extract in dilatating coronary artery.METHODS:Chuanxiong extract was intragastrically given to rats and mice, then the serum contents of tetramethylpyrazine(TMP)were determined by HPLC,which provided data for electrophysiological study. The action of chuanxiong extract on Ca 2+ -activated K channel(Kca)of smooth muscle of coronary artery in pigs was studied by patch clamp technique.RESULTS:The calibration curve of TMP was linear in the range of0.216~54?g/ml(r=0.9999).The recovery was100.7%~102.4%.The serum concentrations of TMP in rats and mice were(3.56?3.01)and(8.19?6.57)?g/ml respectively. The chuanxiong extract could not markedly activate the Kca of smooth muscle of coronary artery in patch clamp study.CONCLUSION:The established method for TMP determination is feasible and relieable. In order to improve the combined electrophysiology and serum pharmacology technique, high quality medical materials should be adopted and the bioavailability improved.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2003;0(09):-
Objective To establish a rapid and specific method for identifying megkaryocytes under the light microscope and to provide a new method and new idea for diagnosis and differential diagnosis of blood diseases. Methods Unfixed smears of blood or born marrow were exposed firstly to an alcoholic solution of Basic Royol Blue for 5 min.Next, an equal amount neutral HEPES buffered solution of the same dye was added to the first stain solution. The two solutions were mixed by adding the second stain. After 10 min, the smears were washed for 2 min with flooding water and drained dry.Meanwhile, the stain was compared with traditional histochemistic stains and flow cytophotometer. Results Megakaryocytes showed purple red cytoplasm and bright blue nuclei.Platelet displayed purple red. Other blood cells(such as granulocytes、monocytes、lymphocytes、plasmacytes and ucleated erythrocytes) had no such stainning character. Compared with traditional histochemistic stains and flow cytophotometer, the stain of two steps by using Basic Royole Blue for megkaroblasts、promegkaryocytes and megkarocytes was credible and distinctive. Conclusion Basic Royol Blue for megkaryocytes stain was worth to contribute to the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of blood diseases. This technique can be used in clinical laboratory.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(33):6027-6033
BACKGROUND:Tooth wear is the physiological change that accompanied by a person’s life, type and nature, maxil ary and mandibular occlusion status, physical status, and living environment may affect it.
OBJECTIVE:To review the occurrence and development of tooth wear, as wel as research on the morphology of wear surface.
METHODS:The PubMed database was searched by the first author for the articles from January 1952 to
December 2012. The articles on the generation of tooth wear facets, macroscopic and microscopic studies of occlusal wear facets, wear measurement method, relationship between tooth wear and oral diseases, and
application of tooth wear facets in forensic research were included. The key words were“tooth, wear, diet,
information, dentistry, anthropology”in English. A total of 59 articles were included according to the inclusion criteria for review.
RESUTLS AND CONCLUSION:With the development of wearing, some oral clinical symptoms may occur. Just as there are no same fingerprints in the world, the individual tooth wear facet is unique. Therefore, the research on occlusal wear facets has great significance for understanding the diet habits, cultural development, age and other information, as wel as for dentistry, anthropology and forensic science. The macroscopic and microscopic study of tooth wear surface can provide a large amount of individual information. The current studies on tooth wear facets cannot ful y exhibit al the implicated information, so the further studies are needed.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(13):2400-2403
OBJECTIVEMedicinal properties are the basic attribute of traditional Chinese medicines (TCM), while the medicinal property theory is the core theoretical foundation of TCM formula combination. In this particle, authors studied the characteristics of pharmacological effects of property combination of traditional Chinese medicines distributing along meridians, with the aim to introduce the medicinal property combination regularity into the design and optimization process of compound TCMs, and bring the medicinal property theory into full play in guiding the formula combination.
METHODIn this paper, TCMs distributing along "the lung meridian" was taken for example. The medicinal property combinations of TCMs distributing along "the lung meridian" recorded in Pharmacopeia (2010) was collected and processed. Besides, Chinese journal full-text database (CNKI) was used to collect all of pharmacological study literatures concerning the above TCMs that have been published since 1980. The pharmacological information was also supplemented by reference to Science of Chinese Materia Medica and Clinical Science of Chinese Materia Medica.
RESULTTCMs distributing along the lung meridian with different properties and tastes showed significant differences in pharmacological effects. For example, mild-sweet-lung medicines could lower blood sugar levels, decrease anoxia and enhance immunity; Mild-bitter-lung medicines showed anti-bacterial, anti-hypertension, anti-oxidation effects; Hot-sweet-lung medicines showed antibechic and anti-bacterial effects. And Hot-bitter-lung medicines showed phlegm eliminating and anti-inflammatory effects. Meanwhile, TCMs distributing along the lung meridian had similar pharmacological characteristics, such as anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, which is consistent with lung's feature in susceptibility to exogenous pathogenic factors.
CONCLUSIONIn this study, authors discovered pharmacological characteristics of different TCMs distributing along the lung meridian, which links TCM theory with modern study achievements and lays a foundation for establishing a TCM property formula combination system.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(16):3327-3330
Medicinal properties are specific attributes of traditional Chinese medicines(TCM). The medicinal property theory is an important principle for the compatibility of traditional Chinese medicines. In this paper, medicinal properties, flavors and meridian tropism were combined to represent TCM medicinal properties; and multiple medicinal properties were further combined into medicinal property combination modes. TCMs and medicinal property combination modes were divided according to their efficacies, which were regarded as the concept of inductive logic programming and finally got medicinal property combination and compatibility rules with different efficacies. These medicinal property combination and compatibility rules were used to form the theoretical model through the entity grammar system, realize the automatic reasoning process from the medicinal property combination and compatibility to the efficacies, verify the reasoning result and analyze their rationality and limitations, in order to provide new ideas for revealing the relations between the TCM compatibility rules and efficacies.
