This article was aimed to study the factors associated with sleep quality of anger-out and anger-in population based on the frequent pattern-tree (FP-Tree) growing algorithm with data mining. The algorithm of structuring frequent model FP-tree and mining frequent itemsets were designed. The database information scanned was recorded by using FP-Tree growing algorithm through state-trees. The frequent itemsets met minimum support required was generated through reducing the search space of project sets and scanning database only one. The data mining of all factors associated with emotional diseases was actualized. The results showed that factors associated with sleep quality of anger-out and anger-in population were disturbance in respiration, cough or snoring, feeling cold, hot or nightmares. The total time for program analysis was 2 seconds. It was concluded that data mining algorithm based on FP-Tree frequent itemsets can effectively realize the useful information receiving from factors associated with emotional diseases.

BACKGROUND:Most bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s are infused intravenously and have very low efficiency of homing to the bone marrow. However, cel infusion via the femoral approach is little reported. OBJECTIVE:To explore the distribution of luciferase gene modified red fluorescent protein transgenic bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s in vivo through different infusion routes. METHODS:Luciferase gene modified bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s at different gradients (5×106, 1×106, 1×105, 1×104) were seeded or injected into the in vitro pore plate or free femurs to observe the fluorescence imaging and select the best concentration of cel s. Luciferase gene modified bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s at the best cel concentration were injected into the mice via the femur and the tail vein, respectively. The distribution of fluorescence and cel number in the mice were explored by using bioluminescence, pathological examination, flow cytometry and quantitative PCR. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Ex vivo fluorescence intensity of luciferase gene modified bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s was positively correlated with the cel concentration;fluorescent cel s in vivo appeared in the femur first and then quickly spread to the lungs in the femur group, while fluorescent cel s in the tail vein group spread to the lungs quickly after cel infusion. Fluorescent cel s could be seen in the spleen, liver and other organs 24 hours later in the two groups. The distribution and migration of cel s in mice could be observed successful y by bioluminescence;5 minutes after cel infusion, the lungs of mice in the two groups began to emit fluorescence that could spread to the liver, spleen and other tissues 24 hours later, and the fluorescence intensity reached its peak after 15 minutes. The distribution of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s in mice had no significant difference between the femur group and the tail vein group. To conclude, cel injection through the bone marrow cavity and tail vein fails to promote the homing of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s to the bone marrow.

OBJECTIVETo study the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells in the subventricular zone (SVZ) in neonatal rats after bilateral common arteries occlusion.
METHODSNinety-six 3-day-old Sparuge-Dawley rats were randomly divided into two groups: ischemia and control. Rats in the ischemia group were subjected to bilateral common arteries occlusion and the rats in the control group were sham-operated. All rats were administrated with 5-bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) (50 mg/kg) via intraperitoneal injection. Rats were sacrificed and their brains were removed 1, 4, 7, 10, 14 and 35 days after ischemia. Using brain paraffin sections and immunofluorescence assays, the number of newborn cells in the SVZ was counted. Newborn neural stem cells and oligodendrocytes in the SVZ were observed, and then double marked with BrdU and nestin or osmium tetroxide (O4).
RESULTSThe number of BrdU+ cells (neural stem cells) in the SVZ in the ischemia group was greater than in the control group 4, 7, 10 and 14 days after ischemia, and reached a peak at 4 days after ischemia (253.1+/- 49.3 vs 133.5+/- 17.7; P< 0.01). By 35 days after ischemia, the number of BrdU+/O4+ cells (oligodendrocytes) in the corpus callosum (56.0+/- 7.2 vs 17.0+/- 6.4; P< 0.01), the septal nuclei (45.0+/- 11.9 vs 20.5+/- 5.0; P< 0.01), the striatum (34.5+/- 4.2 vs 14.5+/- 5.8; P< 0.01) and the olfactory bulb (46.5+/- 6.6 vs 23.5+/- 8.4; P< 0.01) in the ischemia group increased significantly as compared to the control group (P< 0.01).
CONCLUSIONSBrain ischemia can activate the proliferation of neural stem cells in the SVZ and promote neural stem cells differentiation into oligodendrocytes. The immature brain may have the capacity for self-repair after ischemic brain injury.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2007;24(6):1385-1393
AA new total femoral prosthesis with composite structure was designed, and the femoral prostheses under static state were analyzed with ANSYS software (version 5.7). The effects of elastic modulus, Poisson's ratio and the ratio of the inner radius over the outer radius on the stress distribution were investigated. Through a comprehensive analysis of the experimental results of positive stress and shear stress on the prostheses, a new design of the femoral prosthesis was put forth as follows: choose the composite materials of which the outer layer has low elastic modulus and great Poisson's ratio, the inner layer has enough mechanic capability, and the increase in the ratio of the inner radius over the outer radius is as great as possible.

Objective To investigate the central neurotoxicity induced by nucleoside analog reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs)-stavudine (D4T).Methods Mouse primary cortical neurons were cultured and treated with different concentrations of stavudine.Neuron apoptosis was analyzed by calcein/acetomethoxy/propidium iodide (AM/PI) staining. Morphological change of neuron was confirmed by immunofluorescence.Mitochondrial DNA copies which were usually evaluated through Cycloxygenase 2 (COX-2) and thymidine kinase2 (TK2) mRNA were determined by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction.Chi-square test, student t test and Wilcoxon nonparameter test were used to analyze the data. Results Neuronal apoptosis observed in 50 μmol/L D4T treatment group was more significant than that in 0μmol/L D4T treatment group and 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group (51.3%±12.4% vs 24.9%±8.2% and 26.5%±10.6%,respectively; x2 =7.25 and 6.93,respectively; both P<0.01).The average neurite numbers of each neuron were 11.2±3.6 in 0μmol/L D4T treatment group,8.6±2.8 in 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group and 4.3±2.4 in 50 μmol/L D4T treatment group. The difference was statistically significant between 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group and 0 μmol/L D4T treatment group (t=4.06,P<0.01) and between 50 μmol/L D4T treatment group and 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group (t =4.35,P< 0.01). Furthermore, the average lengths of neuritis were (319.9±100.2) μm in 0 μmol/L D4T treatment group,(298.3±83.9) μm in 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group and (258.4±82.2) μm in 50 μmol/L D4T treatment group. The difference was statistically significant between 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group and 0 μmol/L D4T treatment group (t=4.58,P<0.01) and between 50 μmol/L D4T treatment group and 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group (t=4.65,P<0.01).TK2 mRNA expression dramatically decreased along with the increasing D4T concentration. The fold changes were 0.34 in 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group and 0.08 in 50 μmol/L D4T treatment group. The difference was statistically significant between 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group and 0μmol/L D4T treatment group (Z=- 3.28,P<0.01) and between 50 μmol/L D4T treatment group and 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group (Z=-4.25,P<0.01).Compared with 0μmol/L D4T treatment group, the relative fold changes of COX-2 copies were 1.01 in 25 μmol/L D4T treatment group and 1.12 in 50 μmol/L D4T treatment group. The differences were not significant among the three groups (Z=0.98 and 1.24,respectively; both P>0.05).Conclsion It suggests that short-term exposure to D4T may result in neuron apoptosis, neurite shrink and down-regulated expression of TK2,but the level of mitochondrial DNA copies keeps stable.

OBJECTIVETo study the protective effects of polysaccharides from Dendrobium huoshanense (DHP) against CCl4-induced liver injury in mice.
METHODEighty male Kunming mice were randomly divided into normal control group, model control group, dextran control group, starch control group, hydrolyzate control group, three different dose of DPH groups consisting of high-dosage group, middle-dosage group and low-dosage group (200, 100, 50 mg x kg(-1)). Each group contained ten mice. The mice were treated with DHP via intragastric administration for 15 days before treatment of 50% CCl4 in olive oil for consecutive two days. Both alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activities in serum and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities and malondialdehyde (MDA) contents in liver tissues were determined in all groups. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of TNF-alpha in hepatic tissue. Hepatic histopathological examination was observed.
RESULTDHP effectively decreased the activities of ALT and AST in serum and the contents of hepatic MDA, and restored hepatic SOD activities in acute liver injury mice. Liver tissue damage induced by CCl4 was ameliorated in mice with DHP administration through histopathology examination. Furthermore, the expression of TNF-alpha was greatly decreased in groups treated with polysaccharides.
CONCLUSIONDHP has a significantly hepatoprotective effect on CCl4-induced acute liver injury in mice. Protective effect of DHP on the liver may be related to its function of scavenging free radicals and inhibiting lipid peroxidation and TNF-alpha expression.

Objective:To establish and apply the intervention model of professional attitude for nursing undergraduates in universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and to explore its effect on the professional attitude of the nursing undergraduates. Methods:The study started in August 2018 included two steps. The first step was to develop intervention model of professional attitude for nursing undergraduates in universities of TCM based on the three-stage theory of Kelman ′s attitude formation and with Delphi method. After two rounds of expert consultation, the intervention model of professional attitude for nursing undergraduates in universities of TCM was finally formed, including three intervention stages, a total of 41 intervention measurements. The second step was to use the historical control research method. Grade 2016 nursing undergraduate (the year 2016—2020) in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine was taken as the experimental group ( n=86) and adopted the intervention model. Grade 2012 nursing undergraduate (the year 2012—2016) in the same university was taken as the control group ( n=56) and did not adopted the intervention model during their university study. The two groups were continuously evaluated by "Scale for Nurse ′s Professional Attitude" during their four years in the university. The measurement time was within one week of admission and the 16th week of the second semester of each academic year, with a total of 5 times of measurement. Results:Repeated measurement design showed that the scores of Scale for Nurse′s Professional Attitude of the two groups changed with time. At the end of the first year, the score of the scale in the experimental group was (6.06±0.95) points, higher than (5.41±1.08) points of the control group ( t value was 3.765, P<0.001). There was no difference between the two groups at other time points ( P>0.05). Conclusions:The intervention model of professional attitude for nursing undergraduates in universities of TCM has good operability and can improve the professional attitude of nursing undergraduates in universities of TCM during their freshman year. The intervention model needs to be further adjusted to improve the professional attitude in the subsequent learning stage.
