1.Effect of cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor in anti-leukemia
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(6):462-464
Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) plays an important role in the development of leukemia.COX-2 inhibitor plays a certain anti-leukemia role in the process. Many studies show that COX-2 inhibitor plays antileukemia role by inhibiting the proliferation of leukemia cell, promoting apoptosis, affecting cell cycle, inhibiting cell metastasis and reversing cell drug resistance and so on.Therefore, the researches about the anti-leukemia mechanisms of COX-2 inhibitor will provide a new target in clinical prevention and treatment of leukemia.
2.Investigate progress on risk factors and risk assessment of osteoporotic fractures.
China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2014;27(3):261-265
Osteoporotic fracture is the most destructive ending of osteoporosis, many interacting risk factors play a role in its occurrence. With age, the bodies function decline gradually. Symptoms like soreness of the waist, back pain, cramp of the lower limb and weakness appears. These are related to TCM syndrome factors like kidney deficiency, liver deficiency, spleen deficiency and blood stagnation. Symptoms can act as a warning of the occurrence of osteoporotic fracture in the early stages. The risk assessment tool of osteoporotic fracture is mostly developed on the basis of modern risk factors and thus lacks syndrome differentiation, that may limit its utilization. If the relevant content of syndrome differentiation is integrated into the forecasting tool and a risk assessment tool of osteoporotic fracture which complies with the demographics of China is built up, population risk assessment for high of risk could be established and scientific evidence for the adoption of effective interventions could be applied.

Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2011;17(6):411-413
ObjectiveTo explore a procedure to correct the multiple facial deformities by using the expanded frontal flap combined with the axial flaps.MethodsAccording to the face deformity we used the rectangle 100-350 ml expanders behind the frontal hairline, after finishing the tissue expanding, adopted two or three axial flaps based on the supraoribital, supratrochlear or temporal vessels. ResultsA total of 13 cases were treated with this approach.7 eases were nose and lip defect reconstruction after burn,in which temporal vessel-based flap was used in 2 cases and supraoribital or supratrochlear vessel-based flaps in 5 cases. The other 6 cases were nasal reconstruction combined with the frontal defect correction by using random flaps, including 2 cases of pigmented nevus,1 neurofibroma, and 3 burn scars. All the flaps survived and satisfactory appearance was obtained. Conclusions The expanded frontal flap combined with axial flap based on multiple vessels is a good approach to correct the multiple facial deformities.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(11):-
Objective To explore the mechanism of aluminum-induced damage of learning and memory by studying the change of calcium-calmodulin-dependent protein kinase Ⅱ(CaMKⅡ) in the hippocampus of lactational rats. Methods Three groups of clean pregnant Wistar rats (120-200 g) were randomly divided into 3 groups. On the first day of parturition, the dams of two groups were given 0.3% and 0.6% AlCl3 through drinking water and terminated on the weaning day (21 days). Western blot was used to determine the content and activity of ?-CaMKⅡ. Results The aluminum levels in the blood and brain of aluminum-treated rats were obviously higher than that in the control (P

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(09):-
In the past two decades, with the development of electron optics, computer and imaging, hip arthroscopy surgery has become the best effective method in the diagnosis and treatment of the hip discord,as a method integrates less invasive and invisible characteristics. The indication of hip arthroscopy gradually expands and has become the gold standard in the diagnosis and therapy of hip discord.Recent research shows hip arthroscopy can provide early diagnosis and treatment hip unexplained pain, such as femoroacetabular impingement(FAI),labral tears, chondral lesions, furthmore hip arthroscopy shows good prospects in the treatment avascular necrosis of femoral head, synovial abnormalities, post hip arthroplasty discomfort.

Objective To investigate the change of cognitive function and cerebral blood flow in patients with transient ischemic attack(TIA).Methods 35 patients with TIA and 33 normal controls who matched in sex, age, right handed and education were tested by events related potential(ERP), the scale of elderly cognitive function(SECF) and magnetic resonance angiography(MRA).Results The peak latencies of P 3 components of ERP in the patients were significantly delayed as compared with the control group( P
7.Current Strategies for Polypeptide Fusion Tags Removal

Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(10):-
Using gene fusion technology, polypeptide fusion tags can be engineered into target proteins at the genetic level. The resultant recombinant proteins may possess the biochemical properties of the imported fusion tags. Therefore, it is possible to take advantage of fusion tags to improve and evaluate protein expression, to detect and track protein targets, and to purify and characterize proteins. However, it is necessary to eliminate any influence of the fusion tag in structural characterization experiments or in isolating pharmaceutical proteins.Scientists must therefore remove fusion tags prior to structural and functional analyses when fusion tags are suspected of interfering with the biological activity of a protein or influencing its behavior. The fusion tag can be removed by several methods including harsh chemical treatment, mild enzymatic cleavage by endoprotease or exoprotease, and intein-mediated self-cleavage.Here the literature is reviewed in relation to principles, applications, and approaches of each method.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2005;0(12):-
Objective To evaluate the outcomes of meniscal injures treated by Ho∶YAG laser using arthroscopy.MethodsA total of 31 patients with meniscal injury were treated with holmium∶YAG laser by arthroscopy from January 2006 to March 2008 in our hospital.Among the cases,11 had flap tear,8 had horizontal tear,6 showed bucket-handle tear, and 6 were found with longitudinal tear. The pre-and post-operative Lysholm score, and compilations in the patients were recorded. Results The operation was completed successfully in all the cases with a mean operation time of 44 min(rang,22-55 min).No injuries to the vessels and nerves occurred in the surgery. The patients got out of bed in 1 to 4 days after the surgery(mean,2.1 days). All the surgical wounds achieved primary healing.Follow-up was carried out in the patients for 9 to 28 months(mean,14.5 months). The patients showed significantly lower Lysholm score at 6 months during the follow-up than that determined before the operation(92?6 vs 57?13,t=13.61,P=0.00).Among the cases,21 showed excellent outcomes,7 were good, and 3 were improved. The rate of excellent and good results was 90.3%(28/31).Conclusion Ho∶YAG laser is a safe, simple, and effective tool in cutting menisci under a arthroscope.

Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2011;17(1):70-72
The Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway plays a key role in the embryonic development, which is formed by the Hedgehog(Hh) , membrane-receptor complex Patched (Ptch) and Smoothened (Smo), multifunctional transcription factors Glioma-associated oncogene homolog (Gli) and other signal molecules. The Hh signaling pathway controls a variety of developing processes, however, no or less expression is observed in the normal pancreas tissues. The mutational activation of the Hh signaling pathway is associated with tumorigenesis and metastasis of the pancreatic cancer. The aim of this review is to present a brief overview of the Hedgehog signaling pathway in the mechanism of the tumorigenesis of the pancreatic cancer.
