Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(03):-
Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of combined detection of tumor markers on elderly patients with cholangiocarcinoma. Methods:Radioimmunoassay and immunoradiometricassay were adopted to detect CEA,CA19-9 and CA50 in venous serum of 35 elderly patients with cholangiocarcinoma and 31 cases of benign bile duct disease.Results:CA19-9and CA50 in serum had better sensitivity in diagnosing cholangiocarcinoma, and the rates were 80.00% and 91.48% respectively.CEA in serum had the best specificity with the rate as 87.10%.Parallel testing was superior to series testing in combined detection with the sensitivity remaining as 88.64% and the accuracy promoted. Conclusion:The combined detection of tumor markers had cooperative function in diagnosing the elderly patients with chola ngiocarcinoma, with the accuracy promoted, and the rates of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis lowered.
2.Effect of macrophages on mobilizing bone marrow stem cells to promote thrombolysis in deep vein
Chinese Journal of Current Advances in General Surgery 1999;0(03):-
Objective:To discuss the effect of bone marrow stem cell mobilization on density and function of macrophages in deep vein thrombosis. Methods:Adult SD rats were divided randomly into sham operation group, thrombus group and rhG-CSF group.Analyzed the density change of macrophages in thrombus on the 7th and 14th day after operation and observed the function of macrophages in thrombus by electron microscope. Results:Density of macrophages in thrombus significantly increased in rhG-CSF group, compared with that in thrombus group(P
3.Effect of chemokines, activity enhanced by mobilization of bone marrow cells on solution and absorption of venous thrombosis
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2010;35(1):110-113
Objective: To discuss the effect of bone marrow mobilization on chemotaxis of aggregation of macrophages in venous thrombosis. Methods:SD adult rats were divided randomly into normal group, sham operation group, thrombus group and rhG-CSF group.Peripheral blood was harvested at 30min before operation and on the 7th and 14th day after operation.Level of MCP-3 in peripheral blood was detected by ELISA.Inferior vena cava specimens of thromus group and rhG-CSF group were collected at postoperative 7th and 14th day. With the application of RT-PCR,expression of MCP-3mRNA in thrombus was detected. Results:The level of MCP-3 in peripheral blood of rhG-CSF group was significantly higher than that before operation and also higher than the levels of MCP-3 in peripheral blood of sham operation group and thrombus group on the 14th day after operation(P<0.05),and the difference was significant. On the 7th and 14th day after operation, compared with thrombus group, the expression of MCP-3 mRNA in rhG-CSF group remarkablely increased, and the difference Was significant beween these two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion:Brone marrow cell mobilization enhances the chemotaxis of MCP-3 on macrophages.
4.Cost-effectiveness Analysis of Four Different Drugs for Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy
China Pharmacy 2001;0(07):-
AIM:To evaluate the economic effectiveness of different therapeutic schemes for benign prostatic hypertrophy METHODS:175 patients with benign prostatic hypertrophy were divided into 4 groups:A,B,C and D They received different drugs,A:tamsulosin(34),B:prostat(45),C:tedenan(46) and D:qiangliexin(50) RESULTS:The costs of A,B,C,D schemes were RMB 492 80,499 52,526 40 and 664 16 yuans, respectively, and the effective ratios were 85 3%,82 2%,80 4% and 80 0%,respectively CONCLUSION:According to the evaluation with pharmacoeconomic cost-effectiveness analysis,A is the best scheme
5.Effects of thyroid hormone on expression of 11?-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 in hippocampus of newborn rats
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(10):-
Objective:To observe the effect of thyroid hormones on 11?-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1(11?-HSD1) in newborn rats' hippocampus. Methods: Hypothyroid model was induced with propylthiouracil(PTU, 50 mg/d) in SD rats in the last week of pregnancy and was confirmed by measuring the levels of thyroid hormones and thyrotropin(TSH) in the newborn rats' blood. Western blot was used to determine the expression of 11?-HSD1 in hippocampus in newborn rats. Effects of triiodothyronine(T 3) and synthetic glucocorticoid dexamethasone(Dex) on expression of 11?-HSD1 in primarily- cultured hippocampus were studied with thin layer chromatography(TLC) and Western blot. Results: Thyroid hormone levels decreased and TSH level increased in the newborn rats' blood. The expression of 11?-HSD1 decreased by 41.6% in the hippocampus of newborn rats born to the mothers treated with PTU. T 3(10 -9 ,10 -8 ,10 -7 mol/L) and Dex(10 -7 mol/L) up-regulated the activity of 11?-HSD1 by 29.4%,45.6%,60.9% and 39.8%,respectively. T 3(10 -9 ,10 -8 ,10 -7 mol/L) and Dex(10 -7 mol/L) increased the expression of 11?-HSD1 protein by 26.0%,43.2%,64.9% and 41.1%,respectively.Synergistic effect of T 3 and DEX was observed in terms of regulating 11?-HSD1: the expression of 11?-HSD1 increased by 123.3% in the hippocampal neurons exposed to both Dex(10 -7 mol/L) and T 3 (10 -7 mol/L) and the activity increased by 114.1%. Conclusion:Thyroid hormone can up-regulate the expression of 11?-HSD1 in the hippocampus during brain maturation either by itself or synergistically with glucocorticoid, thereby enhancing the action of glucocorticoids on the brain.

9.Progress on vitamin A for newborn respiratory distress
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(5):461-464
Chronic lung disease (CLD) of prematurity is the major cause of long-term disability of extremely low birth weight ( ELBW ) premature infants, and it is the most cost consumptive disease in neonatal intensive care unit graduates.Vitamin A plays an important role in the development of premature lung. Nevertheless, premature infants are prone to vitamin A deficiency.Oral supplementation of vitamin A does not alter the incidence of CLD in ELBW infants.Intramuscular administration of vitamin A reduced the incidence of CLD.The treatment is considered painful and this way is not routinely practiced.Vitamin A is systemically bioavailable after intratracheal administration with surfactant in an animal model of newborn respiratory distress.
10.Clinical application of proton magnetic resonance sectroscopy in glioma
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(10):756-758
Proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (HMRS) is the only way to study noninvasively the metabolic and biochemical signature of the human tissues and organs. It can also quantify the metabolites within the volume of interest. The metabolic information about the lesions provided by the HMRS can greatly improve the diagnostic, grading accuracy, treatment planning such as target delineation and posttreatment follow-up of the glioma.
