Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of postmenopausal patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia ( CIN) gradeⅡ/Ⅲand cervical cancer . Methods A retrospective analysis was made on the clinical characteristics of 57 cases of postmenopausal patients who were diagnosed as CIN grade Ⅱor above from January 2014 to September 2015.Their age ranged from 49 to 77 (58.2 ±5.6) years old, and the time of menopause ranged from 1 to 36 (9.4 ±6.9) years. Results ①In postmenopausal women with CIN Ⅱ/Ⅲ and cervical cancer, only about 1/5 (11/57, 19.3%) had clinical complaints, and nearly 2/3 (36/57, 63.2%) had smooth cervical appearance .②There were 36 cases of high-risk human papillomavirus ( HPV) (36/39, 92.3%), 20 cases of single HPV16 infection (20/36, 55.6%), 7 cases of HPV16 type and other high-risk HPV infection (7/36, 19.4%), and 9 cases of other types of high-risk HPV infection (9/36, 25.0%).③The positive rate of high-risk HPV was 92.3%(36/39) and the HPV16 positive rate was 69.2% (27/39).TCT examination showed a positive rate of high grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL) of only 29.6% (16/54), with significant difference (χ2 =6.686 and 14.286, P =0.010 and 0.000, respectively). Conclusions Postmenopausal women with cervical lesions usually have no obvious clinical symptoms . Gynecological examination alone is difficult to judge whether the cervical lesions exist .Strict cervical lesions screening is particularly important .

Objective To study and evaluate the consistency and diagnostic value of electrogastrogram(EGG) and gastroscopy in children′s gastrosis diagnosis.Methods A total of 136 children were checked with gastroscopy and EGG during the same period,then compared the diagnostic accordance rate with 2 ways,and analyzed the characteristics of EGG.Results EGG showed certain characteristics in different gastrosis.Diagnosis of EGG in the group of functional illness was consistence with gastroscopy at 95.8%;others were less than 40%.Conclusion EGG can be used as a method of special value to diagnose children′s functional gastrosis and a screening means in general gastrosis.

Objective To establish practical cell model of HCV infection, and investigate the susceptibility of a human liver cell line HepG2 to hepatitis C virus in vitro. Methods A human liver cell line HepG2 was incubated with serum from a chronic hepatitis C patient for 6～8 hours. Both the plus and minus strands of HCV RNA in infected cells or supernatant were examined by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT PCR). The HCV NS 3,NS 5 antigens in infected cells were respectively detected with the monoclonal antibodies to antigens of their own by immunohistochemical assay. The minus strand of HCV RNA in infected cells were localized by in situ hybridization. Results The intracellular plus or minus stands of HCV RNA were first detected on day 3 post incubation and then could be intermittently detected until day 35 post incubation in cells or supernatant. The positive signals of NS 3,NS 5 antigens could be expressed within cytoplasm of infected cells. The minus strand of HCV RNA was located within cytoplasm by in situ hybridization. Conclustions These results show that a human liver cell line HepG2 is not only susceptible to HCV but also able to support its long time replication in vitro.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT in the localization of ectopic adrenocorticotrophic hormone ( ACTH)-secreting tumors. Methods Seven patients with ectopic ACTH syndrome (confirmed by clinical symptom, biochemical data or bilateral simultaneous inferior petrosal sinus sampling) were included, 4 males and 3 females with age ranged 27-63 years old.All patients were examined with head MR, chest and abdomen CT, abdomen ultrasonography, and whole body 18F-FDG PET/CT. Location, size, and the maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) of the tumor were measured. Results 18 F-FDG PET/CT detected three ectopic ACTH-secreting tumors with the sizes 1. 1 cm×1.0 cm (SUVmax =9.4), 1.5 cm×1.1cm (SUVmax =6.4), and 1.6 cm ×1.5 cm (SUVmax =12.0). The pathological findings of the three tumors were thymoma, lung carcinoid, and mediastinal carcinoid respectively. Conclusion 18 F-FDG PET/CT may help the localization of ecto pic ACTH-secreting tumors .

Serum levels of leptin, insulin like growth factor (IGF)Ⅰ, IGF binding protein 1(IGFBP1), fasting insulin (FINS) were determined in 36 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and 26 control subjects. The results showed that serum leptin, IGF Ⅰ, FINS in PCOS patients were significantly higher than those in control subjects, and serum IGFBP1 level was significantly lower than that in control subjects. Serum leptin was positively correlated with FINS in PCOS patients.
