Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(10):-
To study an improved translabyrithine approach, twenty adult cadaver heads (40 sides) fixed with formalin were dissected by mimicking translabyrithine method under light microscope ,and measurements were performed . The results showed that the rate of meeting with mastoid emissary was 33/40(82. 50%). The distance between the middle part of sigrnoid and the vertical part of facial nerve was 7. 22 ?1.95 mm. The width of the middle part of sigmoid was 10. 5 ? 0. 79mm, the left side was 8. 89 ? 1. 03mm, and the right side was 9. 88 ?2.14mm. The height of jugular bulb was 8. 08?3. 46mm,the left side was 6. 78 ? 3. 17mm,and the right side was 9. 07?3. 04mm. The distance between the highest point of jugular bulb and the base of internal acoustic meatus was 4. 54 ? 2. 81 mm, the left side was 5. 93?3. 12mm, and the right side was 2. 65?1. 87 mm. The distance between the inferior margin of internal acoustic meatus aperture and superrior petrosal sinus was 5. 09?1. 29mm . The diameter of superrior petrosal sinus was 1. 43?0. 08 mm. There were two types of superrior petrosal sinus entering to the sigmoid (or transverse sinus). The angle between superrior petrosal sinus and sigmoid was 52. 17 ?6. 93?. The results suggest that the improved translabyrithine approach can give enough vision for cerebellopontine angle operation.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
In order to verify the dependability of 3D data, twenty-four temporal bones of adult head specimen fixed with formaldehyde were scanned by multi-slice helical CT. The technique of shade surface display and volume rendering were used in reconstruction. The 3D data of the surface structure of temporal bone were compared with anatomical specimens. The result showed that the new type CT has more rapid speed in 3D reconstruction and clearer imaging. The technique of shade surface display and volume rendering can give very clear structure of temporal bone. The 3D data makes no difference with anatomical measurement (no statistic difference). It is suggested that the 3d data can instruct the clinic directly.

Objective To study the effect and mechanism of a selective aldosterone receptor blocker, eplerenone (EP), on renovascular hypertensive rats. Method Forty-eight Wistar rats were divided into six groups: sham operation group, control model group, early EP group, late EP group, early losartan (LO) group and late LO group. Systolic blood pressure (SBP) and urinary protein excretion (UPE) were measured before and every two weeks after operation. Histopathology and endothelial cell nitric oxide synthase (ecNOS) gene expression were examined in heart, aorta and kidney. Results SBP obviously increased in control model group as compared to sham group at week 10(132. 1 ?2.4 vs. 115.0?0.6 mmHg, P = 0. 0191), while early treatment with LO or EP could decrease SBP significantly as compared to control group. The control group developed significant UPE [ (21. 7 ? 1.9) mg/d] compared with the sham group [(13. 4?0. 8) mg/d] (P

Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 2002;0(05):-
Objectives To analyze the mechanisms and implications involved in the generation of platelet associated antibodies in cancer patients. Methods HLA IgG antibody from 116 cancer patients who had received repeated platelet transfusion (more than 3 times) was screened by ELISA and the GTI QUICKSCREEN kit. The positive samples from the initial screening were confirmed for HLA and HPA antibodies using the PAKPLUS reagent. Patients with antibodies were observed for symptoms and clinical effectiveness of platelet transfusions. Results A total of 44 cases of HLA IgG antibody were screened out of 116 samples, with an antibody rate of 37.93%. Among those 44 samples, 18 were confirmed to contain anti-HLA-Ⅰantibody, 8 with anti-HPA antibody, 10 with both anti-HPA and anti-HLA antibodies, and 8 were not identified. The occurrence of antibodies was positively correlated to the times of platelet transfusions and correlated to the improvement of clinical symptoms (P

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(01):-
Objective To explore the expression of merlin and cyclins and the nucleocytoplasmic shuttling of merlin in abiogenous vestibular schwannoma tissues. Methods Four paraffin imbedding vestibular Schwannoma samples were included in the study. The cyclins and merlin were analyzed by immunofluorescence at the same time, and the expression and location were synchronously observed with confocal laser microscopy(CLM) in a single schwannoma cell. Results Cyclins and merlin were perspicuously and synchronously presented in a single cell in vestibular schwannoma tissues. In early G1 phase of the tumor cell, merlin was mainly stained in the nucleus, followed by perinucleus and cytoplasm. In G1/S phase, merlin was concentrated in the perinucleus, less in the nucleus and cytoplasm.Merlin staining showed uniform distribution in the nucleus in G2/M phase, while was absent from the nucleus and concentrated in the perinucleus in late G2/M phase. Conclusion The expression of merlin and various kinds of cyclins can be synchronously presented in abiogenous vestibular schwannoma cells with immunofluorescence and CLM.Merlin is shuttling among the nucleus, cytoplasm and perinucleus along with the progression of cell cycle.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
Aim To develop a method of culturing rat basilar artery smooth muscle cells. Methods Basilar arteries were immediately removed and cut into 0.2 mm rings. Then they were incubated in a medium containing the following: collagenase (typeⅡ, 0.5 g?L-1), elastase (0.15 g?L-1), hyaluronidase (type Ⅳ-S, 0.5 g?L-1), and deoxyribonuclease (typeⅠ, 0.1 g?L-1) for 1 hour at 37℃. After digestion, cells were cultured in DMEM/F12 with 20% fetal calf serum and then plated onto plastic tissue culture dishes. Results After 3 days of incubation, primary cultures of rat basilar artery smooth muscle cells began to stick to the wall of the incubation dishes. Cells were passaged after one week and their viability was 97%. The purity of fourth passage cells was 98%, which assessed by immunohistochemical staining and morphology. Conclusion This method is simple, fast and easily adaptable to obtaining high yield and purity of basilar artery smooth muscle cells.
