4.The parameter estimation method of Gaussian point spread function in microscopic images.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(1):53-57
As the most popular simplified model of the optical imaging system, the acquisition of the Gaussian point spread function (PSF) parameter is one of the hotspots and key points on which people do research in the field of image restoration. Based on the idea by which there exists deterministic mathematical relationship between Gaussian OTF feature points as well as its parameter and the frequency representation of the image in an existed literature, we proposed an automatic, accurate, stable, and improved approach. This method is able to give prominence to the related calculation feature by a Gaussian convolution and degeneration operation and finally realize the automatic esti mation of PSF parameter of a microscopic image. Experiments have proved that a good restoration result can be achieved utilizing the estimated PSF by the present method, which is of considerable application and reference value in restoration of other sorts with Gaussian approximate PSF model or 3D microscopic image restoration.

5.Expression and clinical significance of stromal cell-derived factor-1 and its receptor CXCR4 in leukemia
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2009;18(1):57-59
Stromal cell-derived factor-1(SDF-1)is an early cell growth factor which belongs to a subfamily of chemokines. The CXCR4 is SDF-1 receptor. The SDF-1 interacting with CXCR4 plays important roles in physiological and pathological processes such as hematopiesis, stem cell homing, angiogenesis and leukemic cells infiltrating. To study the expression of CXCR4 in leukemia and the relationship between CXCR4 and leukemic cells infiltration can add indicators for leukemic MIC diagnosis of immunology indexes and have great significance to take molecule targeted therapy for preventing leukemia from infiltration or relapse as well.

7.Research on fast implementation method of image Gaussian RBF interpolation based on CUDA.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(2):237-244
Image interpolation is often required during medical image processing and analysis. Although interpolation method based on Gaussian radial basis function (GRBF) has high precision, the long calculation time still limits its application in field of image interpolation. To overcome this problem, a method of two-dimensional and three-dimensional medical image GRBF interpolation based on computing unified device architecture (CUDA) is proposed in this paper. According to single instruction multiple threads (SIMT) executive model of CUDA, various optimizing measures such as coalesced access and shared memory are adopted in this study. To eliminate the edge distortion of image interpolation, natural suture algorithm is utilized in overlapping regions while adopting data space strategy of separating 2D images into blocks or dividing 3D images into sub-volumes. Keeping a high interpolation precision, the 2D and 3D medical image GRBF interpolation achieved great acceleration in each basic computing step. The experiments showed that the operative efficiency of image GRBF interpolation based on CUDA platform was obviously improved compared with CPU calculation. The present method is of a considerable reference value in the application field of image interpolation.

8.A novel biomimetic nanofibrous heparin/gelatin scaffold with sustained-release recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2:preparation and characterization
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(16):2384-2390
BACKGROUND:Bionic structure is one of the most important goals of scaffold design in tissue engineering. However, the majority of the bionic scaffolds do not have the capacity of sustained release of growth factors.
OBJECTIVE:To fabricate a novel biomimetic nanofibrous heparin/gelatin scaffold and investigate the characterization of the scaffolds including the microstructure, the mechanical strength andin vitro recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 (rhBMP-2) release.
METHODS:Heparin-conjugated gelatin was prepared by chemical crosslinking and mixed with gelatin at different ratios. Nanofibrous composite scaffolds with different ratios of heparin-conjugated gelatin (0, 20% and 40%) were fabricated by using a thermaly induced phase separation combined with particle leaching technique. The amount of conjugated heparin in the scaffolds, scaffold microstructures and mechanical strength were detected and observed. The release kinetics of rhBMP-2 from the scaffolds with different concentrations of heparin conjugated gelatin was detected using ELISA method.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The composite scaffolds possessed abundant porosities, good mechanical properties, and biomimetic nano-structures. The macroporous size was 250-420 μm. When the ratio of heparin-conjugated gelatin was 0, 20% and 40%, the content of heparin in the scaffolds was 0, (12.82±2.49) and (25.08±3.69) mg/g, respectively, with significant differences; the elastic modulus of the composite scaffolds was (299±38), (286±40) and (236±33) kPa, respectively, with insignificant differences (P > 0.05). With the increase in the content of heparin-conjugated gelatin, the rhBMP-2 adsorption capacity of the nanofibrous heparin/gelatin scaffold is improved, thereby significantly reducing the burst release of rhBMP-2 and prolonging the releasing time.
9.Empirical Analysis on Characteristics and Trend of Illegal Circulation of Counterfeit Drugs and Its Moni-toring Countermeasures in China
China Pharmacy 2016;27(19):2599-2601
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the characteristics and trends of illegal circulation of counterfeit drugs in China, and to put forward monitoring countermeasures. METHODS:In empirical study,3 typical cases of counterfeit drugs manufacturing and selling in China were analyzed (including Jiangsu Wuxi Internet transnational counterfeit drugs manufacturing and selling case, Shanghai Avastin eye drug case,Sichuan Dazhou counterfeit drugs case),to compare the sources of counterfeit drug and illegal cir-culation pathway, thus find out the monitoring problems. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:Main reasons for illegal circulation of counterfeit drugs in China are as follows as drug circulation regulation absence of foreign-funded medical institutions, the existence of hidden drug circulation monitoring holes in urban medical institutions,under-developed and weak ability of distinguishing talse drug information internet counterfeit drugs sales regulatory means. It is suggested to establish drug management norms for for-eign-funded medical institutions, improve drug circulation monitoring in primary medical institutions, establish pharmaceutical logis-tics(transportation)licensing system and strengthen online fake drug sale information monitoring and information publication.
10.Investigation of Residents’Perceptions for Pharmaceutical Care When Purchasing OTC Drugs in Yinchuan
China Pharmacy 2016;27(30):4197-4199
OBJECTIVE:To explore consumers’perceptions for pharmaceutical care by community pharmacist when purchas-ing OTC drugs. METHODS:Semi-structured interview was conducted for 100 consumers who were recruited in Xingqing District, Jinfeng District and Xixia District of Yinchuan,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, their expection for pharmaceutical care by com-munity pharmacists was summarized. RESULTS:Totally 100 residents were interriewed, and 97 completed a full interview with ef-fective interview rate of 97%. Consumers still did not clearly on distinguishing the OTC drugs. The majority of consumers chosen OTC drugs were based on experience and brand,a handful of consumers were under the guidance of community pharmacists. Con-sumers were most concerned about the efficacy, adverse reactions and drug quality in using OTC drugs. Most consumers were not satisfied with the pharmaceutical care in purchasing OTC drugs. Nevertheless, due to a lack of medicine knowledge, consumer had a great demand for pharmaceutical care and willingness to accept it. Low professional level of community pharmacist and staff in current community pharmacy and lack of effective communication between pharmacist and consumer were the obstacles of develop-ing pharmaceutical care. CONCLUSIONS:Because of their distrust on competence of community pharmacist, consumers seek less pharmaceutical care of OTC drugs at community pharmacy though they had expectations on pharmaceutical care of OTC drugs by community pharmacist. Consumers’rely on self-choice of drugs make them exposed to more drug risks.
