Objective To investigate the relationship between the polymorphisms of collagen type Ⅰ alpha 1 (COLIA1) gene and bone mineral density of postmenopausal women in Shanghai. Methods The polymorphisms of Sp1 binding site in COLIA1 gene were observed in 205 postmenopausal women by PCR, digested with MscⅠ restriction endonuclease and separated by 12% polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The capital letter S represents for the absence of the restriction endonuclease site, while the small letter s for the presence of the restriction endonuclease site. Bone mineral density at lumbar spine and femoral neck, etc. were measured by DEXA. Results Neither Ss nor ss genotypes of COLIA1 gene was found in our sample, all were SS genotype. Conclusion The contribution of Sp1 site variation of COLIA1 gene to bone mass might have a strong ethnic difference. The restriction fragment length polymorphisms of COLIA1 gene do not show relationship with the bone mass of postmenopausal women in Shanghai. The significance of this genetic marker of osteoporosis needs to be further explored in larger samples and in different areas.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine Tongluo huayu decoction on white matter damage in patients with occlusive cerebral infarction.MethodsA total of 76 patients with cerebral infarction with cerebral hemorrhage were enrolled in this study from April 2013 to January 2015.The random number table was divided into observation group and control group (38 cases). The control group was given routine western medicine treatment, the observation group on the basis of the control group plus traditional Chinese medicine tongluo huayu decoction, and with acupuncture treatment, the two groups were treated for 2 months, compare the effectiveness of treatment, analysis of the two groups before and after treatment platelet aggregation rate MAR (CDCA) and platelet-activated granule membrane glycoprotein 62P (CD62P), and the prognosis was analyzed by NIHSS, Montreal Metabolic Assessment Scale (MoCA) and Barthel Index (BI) Observe adverse reactions.ResultsThe effective rate of the observation group was 94.74% higher than that of the control group (78.95%, P< 0.05).After treatment, the expression of CD62P (21.87±1.55)%, MAR (35.23±1.62)% and NIHSS score (10.27±0.78) (P< 0.05).The incidence of adverse events was 13.16% in the observation group (25.04±1.11) and the BI index (88.15±1.20) were significantly higher than those in the control group (P< 0.05);There was no significant difference in the prevalence of adverse effects between 13.16% and 7.89%.ConclusionAcupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine Tongluo huayu decoction can effectively protect the white matter of patients with massive arterial occlusive cerebral infarction, improve its platelet CD62P, MAR and neurological function, cognitive function, improve the quality of life, and mild adverse reactions, it is worth in the clinical promotion application.

Objective To establish the fingerprint detecting standard for Tanreqing NaCl Injection. Methods Using baicalin as reference substance to calibrate the common peaks by HPLC-ELSD. According to the technical requirements on fingerprint of traditional Chinese medicine injection, their relative retention times and peak area ratios were calculated and the similarity of ten batchs of samples was determined. Results On the basis of systematic methodology, ten batches of injection samples were tested and analyzed so as to establish HPLC fingerprint for the injection. Conclusion The relative retention times and peak area ratios of 16 common peaks on HPLC fingerprint all conform to the requirement. So the established fingerprint can be used as the one of important foundations for quality control of Tanreqing NaCl Injection.

OBJECTIVE:To improve the quality standard of Xiangsha hezhong pills. METHODS :Based on previous quality standard of Xiangsha hezhong pills ,the items of property observation and microscopic identification were revised. TLC identification methods were established for ginger-processed Magnolia officinalis ,Pogostemon cablin and Atractylodes Lancea (stir-fried with earth ). HPLC methods were adopted for contents determination of hesperidin ,magnolol and honokiol. RESULTS : The description of the appearance of Xiangsha hezhong pills should be modified to “yellow brown or brown water pill ”. The description of microscopical identification was adjusted slightly. TLC chromatogram of ginger-processed M. officinalis ,P. cablin and Atractylodes Lancea (stir-fried with earth )all showed the same color spots in the same position as the corresponding substance control or reference medicinal material ,and the negative samples had no interference. The contents determination were performed on Phenomenex Luna C 18 column with mobile phase consisted of methanol-water (40 ∶ 60,V/V,hesperidin)or acetonitrile- 1% glacial acetic acid (52∶48,V/V,magnolol and honokiol )at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The column temperature was 30 ℃. The detection wavelengths were set at 284 nm(hesperidin)or 294 nm(magnolol and honokiol ). The linear ranges of hesperidin , magnolol and honokiol were 0.201 8-2.018 μg,0.035 7-0.357 4 μg and 0.028 2-0.282 4 μg(all r=0.999 9). The detection limits were 2.0,0.72,0.45 ng;the limits of quantitation were 7.0,2.45,1.61 ng. RSDs of precision ,reproducibility, stability and durability tests were all lower than 3%. The average recoveries were 99.92%,100.49% and 102.08%(all RSD <3%). CONCLUSIONS :The study verifies the description of character observation and microscopical identification ,adds TLC identification methods for ginger-processed M. officinalis ,P. cablin and Atractylodes Lancea (stir-fried with earth )based on previous quality standard of Xiangsha hezhong pills. HPLC methods were adopted to determine the contents of hesperidin ,magnolol and honokiol ,and can effectively improve the quality control standard of the preparation.

Objective:To investigate the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of pulse oximetry among pediatric healthcare providers in China and analyze the factor influencing the KAP.Methods:A self-developed questionnaire was used for an online research on the KAP of 11 849 pediatric healthcare providers from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities of China from March 11 to 14, 2022.The factors influencing the KAP of pulse oximetry among pediatric healthcare providers were examined by Logistic regression. Results:The scores of KAP, of pulse oximetry were 5.57±0.96, 11.24±1.25 and 11.19±4.54, respectively. The corresponding scoring rates were 69.61%, 74.95%, and 55.99%, respectively. Logistic regression results showed that the gender and working years of pediatric healthcare providers, the region they were located, and whether their medical institution was equipped with pulse oximeters were the main factors affecting the knowledge score (all P<0.05). Main factors influencing the attitude score of pediatric healthcare providers included their knowledge score, gender, educational background, working years, region, medical institution level, and whether the medical institution was equipped with pulse oximeters (all P<0.05). For the practice score, the main influencing factors were the knowledge score, gender, age, and whether the medi-cal institution was equipped with pulse oximeters (all P<0.05). Conclusions:Chinese pediatric healthcare providers need to further improve their knowledge about and attitudes towards pulse oximetry.Pulse oximeters are evidently under-used.It is urgent to formulate policies or guidelines, strengthen education and training, improve knowledge and attitudes, equip more institutions with pulse oximeters, and popularize their application in medical institutions.
