Objective The aim of this article is to discuss the relation between serum uric acid and prehypertension, and to evaluate the influence of age, obesity, fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and lipids in Chinese adults. Methods All the 14 451 non-hypertensive samples were analyzed for blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), FPG, lipids and serum uric acid. Results The serum uric acid levels were stratified by quintiles, after adjustment for relevant factors, OR values of prehypertcnsion increased with the elevated uric acid levels. Serum uric acid level was 200-380 μmol/L, it had a linear relationship with the risk of prehypertension, 200 μmol/L as a turning point for this linear relationship, FPG could affect their correlation (P < 0.0001 ). Conclusions Serum uric acid was associated with prehypertension, independent of metabolic risk factors. The associations were not significant in old individuals. FPG may modify the associations.

Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
Some types of bacteria swim through rotating their flagella. The swimming mechanism of bacteria during flagella bundling and tumble process is analyzed. The effects of body rotation and flagellum′s polymorphic transitions on bundling processes and the wall effect phenomenon are also discussed. Finally, based on dynamics similarity, a new microrobot module is put forward to further studying the flagella swimming phenomena. The research would be very helpful for constructing the bionic swimming robots under the low Reynolds number.

Forest musk deer (Moschus berezovskii), a rare wild medicinal animal, is listed under the category of the state key protected wildlife list of China. Musk, secreted by the musk glands, is with high economic and medicinal value and used as precious traditional medicine in China. In order to meet the needs of musk in Chinese traditional medicine, forest musk deer farming was conducted in 1950s, but the research progress on musk secretion mechanism was slow. Therefore, by reviewing the histological and anatomical structure of forest musk deer musk gland, the relationship between sex hormones and the musk secretion process, and the molecular mechanism of the musk secretion, the existing problems in investigating the musk secretion mechanism were analyzed and the development trends in this field were also discussed, in order to provide a reference for further studies on the musk secretion mechanism and improve musk production of forest musk deer.

Objective To observe whether the intravenously transplanted homologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can migrate to the impaired pancreas tissue in the rats with acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP). Methods MSCs were isolated from bone marrow of male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats and adhered to the culture plate in vitro. Female rats were divided randomly into 3 groups:normal transplantation group, ANP transplantation group, ANP group with 10 rats in each group. ANP was induced by intraperitoneal injections with L-arginine. Both transplantation group received MSCs infusion through tail vein. 72 h later, the rats were sacrificed, the pancreas, heart, liver and kidney tissues were harvested, and the morphological changes were examined and scored, the characteristics of migration of MSCs to pancreas were detected with the expression of sry gene of Y chromosome by using chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH). Results Rapid proliferation occurred in isolated MSCs after culture for 3 ~ 5 days and colonies were formed. After 3 generations, CD29 + CD44 + CD45-cells accounted for over 95% of all the cells. There ware massive tissue necrosis, inflammatory cells infiltration in the pancreas of ANP group, the pathological score was 10.31 ±0. 85, which were significantly higher than that in ANP transplantation group (7.30 ±0.79, P < 0.05). Sry gene could be detected in the pancreas, heart, liver and kidney tissues. In addition, scattered distributed sry positive cells were observed in the normally transplanted pancreatic tissue, lots of sry positive cells were observed in the ANP transplanted pancreatic tissue, and they were located in the most injured areas. Conclusions The inflammatory pancreatic tissue has the ability of recruiting MSCs in vivo, which can alleviate local inflammation.

Objective To explore the correlation of bone metabolism levels and risk of coronary heart disease in elder women patients .Methods A total of 163 elder women patients were divided into three group:CON group ,CAD group ,and CHD group .We explored related atherosclerosis risk factors and factors related to bone metabolism .Results Compared with CON group ,there was no statistical significance in CAD group in factors related to bone metabolism(P>0 .05) .In CHD group ,serum 25‐OH‐Vitamin D significantly decreased and β‐C‐terminal telopeptide of type Ⅰ collagen significantly increased compared with CON group(P<0 .05) .Compared with CAD group ,the serum 25‐OH‐Vitamin C also significantly decreased andβ‐C‐terminal telopeptide of type Ⅰcollagen significantly increased(P< 0 .05) .Spearman correlation analysis showed that BMI ,HDL‐C ,triglycerides ,LDL‐C ,blood glucose and 25‐OH‐Vitamin D were correlated with coronary heart disease .With coronary heart disease as the dependent variable , the results showed lower LDL‐C ,25‐OH‐Vitamin D had independent predictive value for the risk coronary heart disease .Conclusion Lower 25‐OH‐Vitamin D levels in elder patients were positively correlated with coronary heart disease ,and it might also be an in‐dependent predictor .

This study aimed to identify the related substances of phloroglucinol injection by two-dimensional liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (2D-LC-Q-TOF/MS). The first-dimensional separation was carried out on an HSS T3 (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) column by gradient elution using 1.36 g·L-1 potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer solution (pH adjusted to 3.0 with diluted phosphoric acid) and acetonitrile as the mobile phases. The separated components were then trapped in switch valve tube lines respectively and delivered to the second-dimensional desalting gradient elution which was performed with a BDS C18 (100 mm × 4.6 mm, 2.4 μm) column using 0.1% formic acid and methanol as the mobile phases. After rapid desalting, electrospray-ionization quadrupole time-of-flight high resolution mass spectrometry was used for determining the accurate masses and elemental compositions of the parents and their product ions for both phloroglucinol and its related substance. Structures of the related substances were then figured out by mass spectrometry elucidation, organic reaction mechanism analysis, and/or comparison with reference substances. Under the established analytical conditions, phloroglucinol and its related substances were adequately separated, 17 main related substances were detected and identified in the injection and its stressed samples for the first time. The identification results can provide reference for the quality control of phloroglucinol injection.

Objective To explore the clinical application of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy in gastroin- testinal nutrition among critically ill patients. Methods Twenty-two patients were undertaken percutaneous endo- scopic gastrostomy under the lead of gastroscope. The puncturatio site was located in anterior wall of stomach. Results All the procedures were performed successfully for one time.Intraoperational blood pressure was very steady. At the same time, intraoperational SpO_2 of the patients all exceeced 97%.The bleeding amount and operation time were respectively (3.8?1.9) ml and (15.5?2.3) min.Severe complications such as gastrostoma, gastrocolic fistula, pneumoperitoneum, refluxing or aspiration of gastric juice, inhalant pneumonia didn't occur after the operation.Con- clusion Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy was safe and feasible among critically ill patients who needed gastroin- testinal nutrition because of its slight injury, little bleeding and shorter operational time.
