Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1997;0(11):-
Objective: To observe the effects of neuromuscular blockade after combining atracurium (ATC) with veeuronium (VEC). Method: Fifty-four patients undergoing elective abdominal surgery(ASA grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ) were allocated randomly into 3 groups. After induction with intravenous midazolam-etomidate-fentanyl, neuromuscular blockade was measured with the train of four (TOF) to the ulnar nerve by monitoring the contraction of musculus adductor pollicis. The onset time and the peak effect were observed. According to the dose-effect relationships of the combination of ATC and VEC and that of either ATC or VEC given alone, the ED_(50) and ED_(95) were caeulated. The isogram and algebraic methods were used to analyse interaction between them. Result: The fraction ED_(50) values of ATC and VEC in combination were 52.26 and 11.71?g/kg respectively, The algebraic subtotal of combinations was 0.75

Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2017;35(9):655-657
Objective To evaluate the relationship between the number of copies of genes and congenital diaphragmatic hernia by the detection of multiple loci in infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Methods Multiple loci were analyzed by Microarray analysis of Affymetrix Cytoscan 750 k in 11 neonates with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, in whom 1 case was twins, and his fraternal twins were diagnosed of fetuse intestinal dilatation. Results A homozygous deletion (8 p11.22 arr[hg19]) was found in one neonate with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, and was eventually confirmed that the depolymerization of the biotin and metalloprotease (ADAM) 3A genes lead to homozygous deletion of the 1~15 exon. Conclusion The alteration of ADAM3A copy number may be the cause of congenital diaphragmatic hernia.

Objective To analysis the clinical and pathological features, results of laboratory tests and prognosis of nephrotic syndrome (NS) in patients with non-heamatological maligancy. Methods The data were collected from 25 patients who presented with NS around the diagnosis of non-heamatological malignancy. Results Twenty-five cases were investigated (age: (56.6±17.7) years; male/female ratio: 20/5). Malignancy and NS occurred within one year in 92% patients. There was a wide distribution of malignancy with involvement of 36% in digestive system and 20% in respiratory system. Ten patients (40%) presented with NS as their initial manifestation. Heamaturia appeared in 67% patients and acute renal insufficiency was complicated in 12% cases before treatments. Some other non-specific laboratory tests were found including elevated serum gamma-globulin in 50% and anemia not related with renal failure in 28% cases. Membranous nephropathy was the most common pathological changes in 67% cases. Although NS still continued for several weeks in 8 of 9 cases after surgery and/or chemical therapy, glucocorticoids was helpful to achieve the remission in these patients. However, no remission was achieved in patients without the treatment for malignancy. Conclusion Malignancy may present with NS as its initial manifestation. It should be inspected routinely and regularly in elder patients with NS, especially in those with membranous nephropathy, as well as gamma-globulinemia and anemia.

Chinese Journal of Trauma 2008;24(8):624-627
Objective To observe the effect of Glutsmine on intestinal barrier function after traumatic brain injury in rats. Methods A total of 54 adult male Wistar rats were divided randomly into 3 groups, ie, normal group (Group N, 6 rats), TBI group (Group T, 24 rats) and Giutamine intervention group (Group G, 24 rats). Group T and Group G were subdivided into 4 groups according to detection time at days 1,3, 5 and 7 respectively. Meanwhile, 6 rats were enlisted in each group. The intestinal mucosa structure was detected by histopathological examination and electron microscopy. Apoptosis was detected by in situ immunohistochemical staining (TUNEL). Results Glutamine could relieve the pathological lesion of gut mucosa and decrease intestinal mucosa cell apoptosis after traumatic brain injury. Conclusion Glutamine can protect intestinal mucosa barrier function following traumatic brain injury.

Objective To investigate clinical effect of recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH)for inter-venting central precocious puberty in children,to provide reference for clinical treatment. Methods 80 patients with growth deceleration slows CCP were selected, when height growth rate below 4cm/year,40 patients on the basis of joint GnRHa used rhGH treatment were selected as the observation group, and the remaining 40 patients refused to use rhGH,continued to use of GnRHa treatment were selected as the control group. After treatment predicted height, height, bone age, growth rate and other indicators were compared. Results In observation group, the actual height Ht, predicted height PAH,the growth rate Gv,serum insulin -like growth factor -1 (IGF -1 )after treatment were (1 44.48 ±6.59)cm,(1 54.94 ±4.52)cm,(4.43 ±0.64)cm/6months,(1 32.25 ±8.84)ng/mL,compared to before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (t =6.548,P <0.01 ;t =5.734,P <0.01 ;t =28.869,P <0.01 ;t =20.65,P <0.01 ),compared with the control group, the differences were significant (t =3.943,P <0.01 ;t =4.759,P <0.01 ;t =28.247,P <0.01 ;t =20.882,P <0.01 ),there were no differences in other indices;hor-mones FSH,LH and other indicators of the two groups before and after treatment, and blood sugar, thyroid indicators showed no abnormality. Conclusion Recombinant human growth hormone in the treatment of central precocious puberty deceleration in children does not increase bone age, which will help improve the growth rate and predicted height, which worthy of clinical application.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2022;34(7):747-750
Objective:
To investigate the difference in behavioral characteristics among different phenotypes of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) using amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF), so as to provide insights into clinical differentiation of behavioral characteristics among different phenotypes of ADHD.
Methods:
The children with ADHD admitted to The Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University were enrolled and classified into the inattentive type (ADHD-I), hyperactive/impulsive type (ADHD-HI) and combined type (ADHD-C). The reaction time (RT) was measured using integrated visual and auditory continuous performance test, and the mean (RT-mean) and standard deviation of RT (RT-SD) were estimated. In addition, the ALFF was calculated at 0.010 to 0.027, 0.027 to 0.073, 0.073 to 0.167 Hz, and the difference of ALFF was compared among children with different types of ADHD.
Results:
A total of 107 children with ADHD were enrolled, including 95 boys and 12 girls, with a mean age of (8.89±1.93) years. There were 69 children with ADHD-I, 8 children with ADHD-HI and 30 children with ADHD-C. The RT-SD was significantly higher among children with ADHD-C than among children with ADHD-I [(126.003±51.619) ms vs. (97.720±45.302) ms; P=0.007]; however, there was no significant difference in RT-mean among children with various ADHD phenotypes (F=1.386, P=0.255). There was an interaction between frequency and ADHD phenotypes (F=2.754, P=0.032), and the ALFF was significantly higher among children with ADHD-C than among children with ADHD-I at 0.010 to 0.027 [(5 590.567±231.595) ms vs. (4 694.001±154.397) ms; P=0.002] and 0.073 to 0.167 Hz [(4 312.609±174.709) ms vs. (3 690.805±116.473) ms; P=0.005].
Conclusions
The ALFF varies in ADHD phenotypes, and there is a frequency-specific difference.
