P2 receptors are divided into two subclasses:P2X receptors which are ligand-gated ion channels and P2Y receptors which are G-protein coupled. Several kinds of P2X and P2Y receptor subtypes express in vascular endo-thelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells. Purinergic signalling plays an important role in vascular diseases such as atherosclerosis, cerebral vessels ageing and blood vessel remodeling. So this signalling pathway may pro-vide a new target to treat vascular diseases.

BACKGROUND:Diabetic lower limb ischemia is prone to involve distal lower limb arteries, and a conventional treatment is often unable to obtain the ideal effect. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect and safety of umbilical cord blood stem cel transplantation in the treatment of diabetic lower limb ischemia. METHODS: A diabetic rat model of lower limb ischemia was established, and along the femoral artery, five points
were selected for injection of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cel suspension, 20 μL per point. At 1, 2, 4 weeks after transplantation, transcutaneous oxygen pressure, vascular density and vascular endothelial growth factor level in the ischemic region, and incidence of adverse reactions were recorded. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:At 1, 2 and 4 weeks after transplantation, the transcutaneous oxygen pressure, vascular density and vascular endothelial growth factor level in the ischemic region were found increasing, which were significantly different from those before transplantation (P < 0.05). At different time after transplantation, al animals had no inflammatory reactions such as skin bleeding and dermatitis, and local red, sweling, hot, pain, and had no tumor-like growth in organs. These findings indicate that umbilical cord blood stem cel transplantation can safely and significantly improve symptoms of diabetic lower limb ischemia, which has certain application feasibility. Objective To compare the clinical values of laparoscopic surgery and laparoscopic surgery by pull through technique for anterior of rectum in patients with rectal cancer. Methods From Jan, 2013 to Jan, 2014, 120 patients with low rectal cancer were prospectively collected. The patients were randomly divided into study group (n= 60) and control group (n= 60). Patients in the study group were treated with laparoscopic surgery by pull through technique for anterior resection of rectum, while patients in the control group were treated with laparoscopic surgery. The primary outcomes were intraoperative situations, postoperative complications and recovery. Results When compared with the control group, patients in the study group got a significantly shorter operative duration [(132.32±14.92) vs (154.73±17.65) min, P=0.000];a signiifcantly lower postoperative drainage volume [(299.93±56.49) vs (365.24±68.94) ml, P= 0.000]; a significantly shorter gastrointestinal function recovery time [(57.42±5.84) vs (61.85±7.40) h, P=0.002]; and a signiifcantly less of length of hospital stay [(12.54±2.76) vs (14.75±2.10) d, P= 0.000]. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the amount of bleeding, the number of lymph node dissection, pneumonia, lower extremity arteriovenous thrombosis, incision infection, anastomotic leakage, intestinal obstruction, 2-year recurrence rate and mortality rate (P> 0.05). Conclusion laparoscopic surgery by pull through technique for anterior resection of rectum can accelerate postoperative recovery.

Objective To study the relationship between serum trace elements and renal cell carcinoma.Methods The serum concentrations of multi-elements in 34 patients with renal cell carcinoma and 28 healthy volunteers were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS).The results were analyzed by partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) and Fisher discriminant.Results Compared with healthy voluteers,the levels of vanadium (5 034.56 ng/L:4 401.23 ng/L ),cobalt (211.34 ng/L:158.67 ng/L),nickel(l 850.55 ng/L:1 587.12 ng/L),manganese(1 873.35 ng/L:932.68 ng/L) and cadmium(95.63 ng/L:36.43 ng/L) were significantly higher in patients with renal cell carcinoma (P ＜ 0.05 ).While,the concentrations of calcium( 10.83 mg/L:11.78 mg/L) and zinc(67.11 μg/L:70.92 pg/L)were significantly lower ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Discriminant analysis showed that the serum elements levels in the patients with renal cell carcinoma were significantly different from the healthy volunteers.The scores plot showed distinct clustering between patients and controls,the points of patients were obviously offset from the controls.The classification accuracy of Fisher discriminant function was 97.61％.Conclusion Trace elements in serum are significantly different in patients with renal cell carcinoma and healthy volunteers.Discriminant analysis of serum samples based on trace element levels is possible.Thus,it is feasible for early diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma by determination of trace elements and discriminant analysis.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of sublingual immunotherapy with dermatophagoides farina drops on children with allergic rhinitis. METHOD: This was retrospective study analyzing the efficacy of dermatophaguides farinae drops SLIT in 110 patients (aged 4-14 years old) with house dust mites induced allergic rhinitis (without asthma). All the patients were divided into the SLIT group (n = 60) and drug group (n = 50). Patients in SLIT group received sublingual immunotherapy combined with symptomatic medication, and patients in drug group only received symptomatic medication. We recorded and evaluated the total nasal symptom scores (TNSS), total medication scores (TMS) and visual analogue scale (VAS) of the 2 groups at three time points, before the treatment, and the treatment for 1-year and 2-year. RESULT: After 1-year and 2-year treatment, compared with drug group, TMS, TNSS and VAS in SLIT group decreased significantly (P < 0.01). When compared with baseline, we got the similar result as compared with drug group. Besides, the TMS of drug group increased significantly after treatment (P < 0.01). And no significant difference was observed in TNSS and VAS. In addition, there was significant difference in the Proportion of patients withdrawing symptomatic medication in SLIT group and drug group (68.33%,16.00%, respectively; P < 0.01). There were 4 local adverse reactions occurred during the treatment and no serious adverse events occurred. CONCLUSION Sublingual immunotherapy with Dermatophagoides farinae drops showed significant clinical efficacy in children with allergic rhinitis comparing with pharmacotherapy.
