Bone marrow stromal antigen 2 (BST-2) is a kind of host restriction factor. Since it was discovered to be responsible for the defect in virion release of HIV-1 mutants lacking the accessory gene vpu in 2008, it was thought to mainly restrict the viruses by directly tethering viral particles at the plasma membrane. Recent reports suggest that BST-2 also can inhibit the the release of HBV particles, which are budding in the intracellular vesicles, expanding the antiviral spectrum of BST-2. Futhermore, the machanism that BST-2 used to restrict HBV release in multivesicular bodies (MVBs) is similar to that used to restrict HIV at the plasma membrane. However, HBV have evolved strategies to antagonize the antiviral action of BST-2. There are two different opinions about the antagonist. One is HBV inactivated BST-2 by HBx requiring a hepatocyte-specific environment. Another thought envelope protein HBs counteract the antiviral action of BST-2. In this review, we focus on the current advances in the anti-HBV activity of BST-2.

AIM: To observe the clinical effecacy of Aidi Injection (Radix Ginseng, Radix Astragali, Mylabris, Radix et Caulis Acanthopanacis Senticosi) combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of malignant advanced tumor. METHODS: Patientes (106 cases) with advanced malignant tumor were randomized into two groups: therapeutic group (56 cases) and control group (50 cases). The therapeutic group:the chemotherapy combined with Aidi Injection (60～80mL), once a day, for 10 days. The control group:the chemotherapy alone. Two groups mainly used PTX、DDP、EPI、5 FU、VP16 etc for chemotherapy. Objective To evaluate the application of transcatheter closure of patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) with severe pulmonary hypertention using the Amplatzer occluder device.Methods Fifty-one cases of PDA with severe pulmonary hypertention were treated by transcatheter closure with Amplatzer occluder. Patients mean age was 9.4 years (ranging 3 months to 60 years) and the mean weight was (18.7?13.8) kg (ranging 5.0 to 65.0 kg). The mean PDA diameter at its narrowest segment was (7.0?2.4) (ranging 3.0 to 15.0) mm. The achievement of permanent transcatheter closure was decided according to the change of the pulmonary arterial pressure, aortic pressure and oxygen saturation. Results The devices were successfully placed in all patients except one failure owing to the resistance of pulmonary hypertention. The systolic pulmonary pressure decreased from (84.7?13.5) (range 70 to 137) to mmHg to (46.1?14.9) (24 to 109)mmHg, and the mean pulmonary pressure decreased from (65.0?11.5) (42 to 97) mmHg to (31.3?11.6) (14 to 69) mmHg. Complete angiographic closure was seen 10 minutes after the device deployment in 30 out of 50 patients (60%), while trivial to small leak was present in 20 (40%). Complete echocardiographic closure was demonstrated in 49 out of 50 patients (98%) at 10 min, and 100% at 6-month follow-up in all patients. There were no PDA recanalization and migration of devices after the complete occlusion during following up.Conclusion Transcatheter closure of patent ductus arteriosus with severe pulmonary hypertention by using the Amplatzer occluder is a safe and effective interventional method with excellent short-term and middle-term results.

Assess retrospectively 75 cases of double chambered right ventricle confirmed by clinical examination and operation. The diagnosis and differential diagnosis were made by physical signs, chest X rays, electrocardiograph, echocardiogram, catheterization and right ventricular cardiograph features. Results showed that there were only 9 cases of simple form among 57 (76 %) cases with double chambered right ventricle before operative confirmation,and in 48 (64 %) cases it was accompanied by other intracardiac malformation. Eighteen (24%) cases were not diagnosed preoperatively. In order to raise the diagnotic rate, it was important to measure the pressure gradient between the pulmonary artery and the inflow tract of right ventricle, and evaluate carefully the right ventricular size and morphology by angiocardiography.

To sum up the experience in diagnosis and differential diagnosis in complicated cyanotic congenital heart defects, the clinical symptoms,physical signs, electrocardiogram, echocardiography and angiocardiography were analysed retrospectively in 2 366 patients with six kinds of common cardiac deformities. The results suggest that: ①It is helpful in diagnosis to grasp unusual symptoms and physical signs; ②Specific electrocardiographic features and X ray findings are valuable in diagnosis and differential diagnosis; ③ Echocardiography is significant in the diagnosis, but it can not show the branches of pulmonary arteries.Its diagnostic rate is 97 2%; ④Angiocardiography can clearly display the pulmonary arteries, and it is valuable for surgical operation, its diagnostic rate is 98 1%.

Objective To assess the accuracy of histological type and molecular subtype observed in preoperative 11-gauge vacuum-assisted core needle biopsy(VACNB) specimens in breast cancer.Methods Patients diagnosed by preoperative 1 l-gauge VACNB and received subsequent open excisional biopsy (OEB) from Mar 1 st 2014 to Mar 31 st 2015 were included.Kappa testing was used to test the concordance rate of histological type,estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),human epidermal growth factor 2(Her-2),Ki-67 and molecular subgroups between VACNB and paired OEB specimens.ER,PgR,Her-2,and Ki-67 were determined by immunohistochemistry (IHC).Patients with Her-2 IHC (+ +) were further examined by FISH.Molecular subtypes were classified as follows:LuminalA,LuminalB,Triple Negative,and Her-2 positive.Results There were 36 patients analyzed(32 of them had invasive breast cancer).Between VACNB and paired OEB specimens,concordance rate of histological type,ER,PR,Her-2,Ki-67 and molecular group were 94.4％ (κ =0.934),96.9％ (κ =0.904),87.5％ (κ =0.710),100％ (κ =1.000),84.4％ (κ =0.570),78.1％ (κ =0.621).No significant difference was detected in the expression of ER,PR and Ki-67 between VACNB and OEB specimens according to paired t-test results.Concordance rate of each molecular subtype between VACNB and OEB specimens were 100％ for Her-2 positive subtype,94.1％ for LuminalB subtype,50％ for LuminalA,and 33.3％ for TNBC.When the threshold for ER/PR positivity was upgraded from ≥1％ to ≥10％ and Ki-67 cutoff value to≥20％,the concordance rate for ER,PR,Ki-67 and molecular subtype reached to 100％,93.8％,87.5％,81.3％.Conclusions 11 G vacuum-assisted core needle biopsy was accurate in determining histological type and molecular subtype in breast cancer.

Analytical technique on oxygen isotope composition of phosphate in soil has important applications in biogeochemical research. As the composition of the soil is complex with multiple oxygen sources, a liable phosphate enrichment and purification technology is important for phosphate oxygen isotope research. Here we presented a protocol on the analysis of the δ18 Op of inorganic phosphate in soil, and phosphate was purified with multiple mineral precipitations and finally precipitated as silver phosphate. The efficiency of NH4 OH purification method was examined and the purity of the product was verified through XRD and element analysis. The result showed that treatment of the Ag3 PO4 sample by recrystallizing with ammonia could remove the impurity efficiently without significantly modifying oxygen isotope compositions. The validity of sample processing and reliability of isotope analyses were confirmed by processing a KH2 PO4 standard in parallel with soil P sample. The analytical result of three soil types indicated that this method provided good precision of 0. 2‰. The differences of δ18 Op between three soils groups are significant ( From 15. 2‰ to 19. 5‰) and can be used to tracing P sources.

Objective To carry out the clinical validation of a domestic HBsAg kit to evaluate its application value. Methods 543 serum samples with HBsAg ELISA values of S/CO ≥ 0. 7 were tested by HBsAg confirmatory test. Specific anti-HBs reagent and control reagent were added separately into duplicate wells of HBsAg ELISA plate, in which test sample was also added. After incubation at 37℃, HBsAg was detected by routine ELISA, and the inhibition rate was calculated using absorbanee (A) result of anti-HBs reagent well and control reagent well according to the provided formula. The sample was confirmed as HBsAg positive when the inhibition rate was≥50%. For HBsAg weakly positive samples, "prolonged confirmatory test" (conjugate reaction time was prolonged to 120 rain) was applied to increase the sensitivity. 39 samples were randomized selected for testing and comparison with Abbott Murex confirmatory test. Results 543 serum samples in total were tested by the confirmatory test. Among the 504 cases which showed positive reaction in screening HBsAg ELISA, 89 ( 17. 7% ) were confirmed as negative.
