Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 1996;0(09):-
Objective To study the effects of calcitonin on bone mineral density(BMD), bone strength and bone fragile fracture in osteoporosis. Methods This is a one year, single centered, prospective and randomized, opening study: 135 patients with osteoporosis were divided into calcitonin+calcium group and calcium group. Patients of calcitonin+calcium group received salmon calcitonin(Miacalcic was injected intramuscularly, 50 IU/day in first week, 50 IU/two days in second week and 50 IU/twice/week later) and calcium(calcium 600 mg/day), patients in another group received calcium(calcium 600 mg/day). The determination markers included serum calcium, serum phosphate, serum alkline phosphatase, osteocalcin and urine hydroxyproline before and after treatment, at same time all patients were examined by DEXA(lumbar, hip) and QUS(radius, tibia). Results After 1 year treatment, 53 patients of calcitonin+calcium group and 59 patients of calcium group were followed up. In calcitonin+calcium group, BMD of lumbar spine increased about 1%(P

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(04):-
Although the type of XHD150B-IO 800mA X-ray machine possesses a damage protection electric circuit for the main thyristors, with the first switch of photographic hand valve pressed, abnormal instant exposure still appears when double (in different phase) or more than three main thyristors are broken through, short-circuited or mis-energized, and consequently the high voltage element or X-ray machine will break down. Therefore the original electric circuit must be improved. Material: A few of leads. Method: We exchange the conjunction sequence of three NO (normal open) contacting points of radiograph high voltage preparing work relay--MAG SW- R with three reverse parallel connection of main thyristors. Conclusion: The normal procedure of radiographic exposure won't be disturbed after the improvement. When whichever one or more than two main thyristors is broken through, short-circuited or mis-energized, the spoilage can be detected instantly and the protection circuit works correspondingly, which guarantees the safety of X-ray machine.

The contents of schisandrin, schizandrin A, B and C were determined by HPLC, and the effects of the climate factors and altitude on lignin contents were analyzed in order to select the optimal cultivation area of S. chinensis. The lignin contents were analyzed by HPLC using a ZORBAX SB-C18 column (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 microm). The column temperature and detection wave length were set at 35 degrees C and 254 nm, respectively. Methanol-water was used as the mobile phase in gradient elution mode and the flow-rate was 1.0 mL min(-1). The method had a good repeatability, stability and accuracy. The correlation of climate factors and lignins contents was analyzed by SPSS software. The results showed that the schizandrin A content in S. chinensis fruits were higher than 0.4% in Ji'an, Liuhe, Antu and Fusong in Jilin province, which met the quality requirement. It had significant linear negative correlation relationship between schisandrin, schizandrin A, B and altitude, the contents decreased with the increase of altitude. The significant negative linear fitting coefficient was 0.844 1 between schisandrin and altitude; but it had not significant correlation between schizandrin C and altitude. A significant positive correlation of climate factors and the contents of S. chinensis lignins were mainly the temperature factors (the average annual temperature, the highest temperature in July, the average temperature in July, the highest temperature in January, the average temperature in January) and precipitation factor (average annual precipitation), which reveals that higher temperature and precipitation were helpful to the formation and accumulation of lignins of S. chinensis. So the cultivation area of S. chinensis should be in the low elevations region with warm and rainy climate.

Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2017;49(1):142-147
Objective:To compare the pain control efficiency of continuous adductor canal block (ACB) and femoral nerve block (FNB) in total knee arthroplasty. Methods:From April to September 2016,patients with severe knee osteoarthritis undergoing primary unilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA) were prospectively observed, and all the patients were randomized received ultrasound-guided continuous ACB or FNB after surgery.Numeric pain rating scales (NPRS)pain scores in rest and activity 2,6,12,24 and 48 h after surgery were collected, and the preoperative and postoperative quadriceps strength at 24 and 48 h were analyzed.Opioids consumption and anesthesia related adverse effects were also recorded. Results:In the study,40 patients were enrolled, with 20 patients in each group, male ∶female =7 ∶ 33,the age:(63.8 ± 10.1) years, and the body mass index (BMI):(28.5 ± 3.5) kg/ m2.The general conditions were comparable between the two groups.Though the rest pain 2 h after surgery [ACB =0.0(0,6),FNB =3.0(0,5),P=0.004] and activity pain 12 h post operation [ACB =3.0(3,0),FNB =5.5(0,10),P =0.004] were lower in ACB group compared with FNB group, there was no statistical difference in the other pain checking points between the two groups. The quadriceps strength 24 h and 48 h after surgery were (85.3-± 27.6) N and (80.0 ± 30.1) N in ACB group,(69.0 ± 29.4) N and (64.4 ± 32.0) N in FNB group, both of them were declined by time. The exact data were higher in ACB group, however, there was no statistical difference between the two group by repeated measurements variance analysis(F =2.703,P =0.108).Four patients in ACB group and five in FNB acquired additional use of dolantin once (100 mg/per time) within 24 h.And among them, three patients acquired once dolantin in ACB,two in FNB,from 24 to 48 h postoperation. There were five patients who suffered nausea postoperation in ACB group, and one who reported xerostomia.Four patients in FNB had nausea with vomiting, and three experienced xerostomia.Deep vein thrombosis appeared in 2 patients in FNB group, but no one in ACB group. Conclusion:Continuous ACB is not superior in pain control after TKA compared with FNB,and the quadriceps strength could be reserved more by this method, which performed early benefits in fast rehabilitation.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(09):-
Objective To explore genes expression of adiponectin receptors during differentiation of SW872 preadipocytes. Met-(hods) SW872 preadipocytes were cultured in vitro and induced to differentiate by 0.6 mmol/L oleic acid. During the progress of diffe-(rentiation), the morphological changes of SW872 cells were observed and the differentiation rate was assayed by oil-red O staining. Adiponectin receptors mRNA was measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction during differentiation of SW872 preadipocytes. Results 1.After stimulated by 0.6 mmol/L oleic acid for 72 hours, almost all SW872 cells were differentiated, and there were lots of fat droplets in the cells.2.There were adiponectin receptors genes expressions in SW872 preadipocytes. After 72 hours, and the levels of adiponectin receptor(AdipoR) 1 mRNA and AdipoR 2 mRNA were markedly increased up to 2.54 and 4.09 times, respectively. Conclusion There are AdipoR1 and AdipoR2 genes expressions in fat cells and the expressions are differentiation-dependent.
