Objective To establish a numerical model of adsorption and desorption of CO_2 and to study the influencing factors on the removal system. Method A physical model was expressed by mathematical method, then an isothermal adsorption model for simulating molecular sieve was established. Result The working process of a CO_2 removed device was simulated and its result was analized with the established model.The characteristics of the adsorption and desorption was obtained. Conclusion The model describes the processes correctly, the influencing factors like humidity dimension of the bed are considered simultaneously.It remains to be improved by further experimental corrections.

Objective To examine the effects of IL-10 on cardiac fibroblasts ( CFBs) proliferation and phenotype transformation to myofibroblasts (MyoFbs) induced by transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1);and to investigate the regulating pathways .Methods Cardiac fibroblasts were isolated from cardiac ventricles of neonatal SD rats . The passage 2~4 were used and divided into the following groups for treatment:1) control group, 2) IL-10 reac-tion group, 3) TGF-β1 reaction group, and 4) IL-10 plus TGF-β1 reaction group (TGF-β1 treatment followed with IL-10 pretreatment ) .Cells proliferation was assessed by MTT assay and immunocytochemistry staining for prolifera-ting cell nuclear antigen (PCNA);the phenotype transformation into MyoFbs was assessed by immunocytochemistry of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA);extracellular signal related kinase ( ERK1/2) and P38 kinase pathways were assessed by western-blot.Results TGF-β1 (10 μg/L) treatment boosted the proliferation and the expression ofα-SMA significantly (P<0.01), while IL-10 (10, 50 or 100 μg/L) plus TGF-β1 co-treatment induced lower cell proliferation and expression of α-SMA than treating with TGF-β1 alone ( P<0.05 ) , with the inhibitory effect of IL-10 being concentration dependent .TGF-β1 could significantly stimulate the ERK 1/2 and P38 kinase phospho-rylation ( P<0.01 ) , however IL-10 (100 μg/L) plus TGF-β1 co-treatment failed to down-regulated the phospho-rylation of ERK1/2 and P38 kinase compared with TGF-β1 alone ( ERK1/2:P<0.05;P38:P<0.01 ) .Conclu-sions IL-10 can attenuate TGF-β1-induced CFBs proliferation and phenotype transformation to MyoFbs .The in-hibitory effects may explained by a mechanism of inhibiting the activation of ERK 1/2 and P38 kinase .

AlM: To research the characteristics of positive relative accommodation ( PRA) , negative relative accommodation (NRA) and PRA/NRA ratio in myopes. To analyze the relationship among PRA, NRA, PRA/NRA ratio, spherical equivalent degree, years and habbits of wearing glasses, myopia development, and pupil diameter.METHODS: Aretrospective study of ninety eyes in the 180 th Hospital of Quanzhou from August 2014 to December 2014. PRA, NRA and PRA/NRA ratio were compared among low, moderate, high myopes and emmetropes. The correlation were analyzed among PRA, NRA, PRA/NRA ratio, spherical equivalent degree, years and habbits of wearing glasses, myopia development and pupil diameter. PRA, NRA, PRA/NRA ratio, years and habbits of wearing glasses and pupil diameter were compared between progress group and non-progress group.RESULTS: ( 1 ) Without statistical differences in age, sex and intraocular pressure, PRA and PRA/NRA ratio of myopes were lower than emmetropes, while NRA was higher. (2) Without statistical differences in age, sex and intraocular pressure, PRA, PRA/NRA ratio and NRA had no statistical differences while years and habbits of wearing glasses had statistical differences among low, moderate, high myopes. ( 3 ) With longer years of wearing glasses, PRA, PRA/NRA ratio were larger and NRA, pupils were smaller. ( 4 ) Without statistical differences in age, diopter and intraocular pressure, one group which were not easy to deepen degree had more often-wear-glasses myopia patiens and longer years of wearing glasses, the other group which were easy to deepen degree had more seldom-wear-glasses myopia patiens and shorter years of wearing glasses.CONCLUSlON: PRA and PRA/NRA ratio of myopes were lower than emmetropes, while NRA was higher. No correlated relation was detected among PRA, NRA, PRA/NRA ratio, spherical equivalent degree and myopia development. lt suggests the onset and progress of myopia are related to many factors. Wearing-glass timely and accurately can release the decline of PRA and PRA/NRA ratio and slow down degree development in myopes.

To increase the biotransfomation efficiency from the orotic acid to the uridine 5'-monophosphate(UMP),URA5 gene encoding orotate phosphoribosytransferase was amplified from Saccharomyces cerevisiae BY4742 by PCR,then it was inserted into the expression vector pYX212(contained orotidine monophosphate decarboxylase gene URA3)and the pYX212-URA5 was transformed into Saccharomyces cerevisiae BJX12 by electroporation.The recombinant strain was elementarily used to convert orotic acid to UMP.The results showed that pYX212-URA5/BJX12 could accumulate 7mmol/L UMP from 32mmol/L orotic acid in 26h,significantly higher than both control groups pYX212/BJX12(2.7mmol/L) and BJX12(2.4 mmol/L).

A reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and single-strand conformation polymorphisms (SSCP) assay were applied to rapidly detect the molecular variability in CP and SP genes among seven isolates of Rice stripe virus in China. The PCR results showed that the CP gene of JD isolate and SP gene of PJ isolate could not be amplified. SSCP analysis showed that there were completely different electrophoretic pattern of CP gene among six isolates. To SP gene, SSCP results also discovered polymorphisms. There were five patterns among these isolates, and the pattern of YL and BS isolates were same.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of sonographic changes of adipose tissue in benign and malignant breast lesions.Methods The sonographic characteristics of subcutaneous adipose tissue were retrospectively analyzed in 92 patients with 114 breast lesions,all lesions were confirmed by postoperative pathology.Receive operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drew with the pathological results as standard,the diagnostic value of subcutaneous adipose tissue changes in benign and malignant breast lesions was evaluated.Results The area under the ROC curve that derived from all of the lesions (61 benign and 53 malignant) was 0.862 (P =0.000).The ultrasonographic findings which showed subcutaneous adipose tissue changes at grade Ⅲ or higher suggested that the tumors were more likely malignant lesions.When adipose tissue changes at grade Ⅲ was taken as the diagnostic indicator for the presence of malignant breast lesions,the diagnostic sensitivity reached 73.6％ while specificity reached 93.4％.At ultrasound imaging scan,the adipose tissue in malignant lesions had the following manifestations:increased fibrosis,increased echogenicity,the sonographic images were turbidity or blurred,presence of ground-glass-like opacity.There were significant differences (P =0.000) between the benign and the malignant lesions in the range of adipose tissue changes.Conclusions The ultrasonographic changes were helpful to the differential diagnosis between the benign and the malignant breast lesions.

Objective To improve the anderstanding of clinical profile of primary plasma cell leukemia.Methods Case report and literature review.Results A rare case of nervous system relapse in primary plasma cell leukemia was reported.Six patients were identified from the literature.The type of immunoglobulin included IgG(3 patients),IgD(2 patients).Clinical manifestations of nervous system were variable.The average interval from initial diagnosis to the development of nervous system relapse was 16.5 months.Plasma cells were found in cerebrospinal fluid in 4 patients.The mean surviaval time was 6.7 months after nervous system relapse.Conlusion Nervous system relapse in primary plasma cell leukemia is rare with poor prognosis.

Objective To investigate the effect of excessive all-trans retinoic acid (atRA) on mouse embryonic palatal fusion and the mechanism. Method Palatal shelves from embryonic D 13 embryonic mice were cultured in BGJb medium and treated with vehicle control only or 5 ?mol/L atRA for 72 h. Palatal fusion was examined by hemagglutinin esterase. Apoptosis and laminin were detected by TUNEL and immunohistochemistry, respectively. The level of Smad2 phosphorylation (pSmad2) was analyzed by Western blot. Results atRA led to failure of palatal fusion and inhibited the migration and apoptosis of medial edge epithelial cells (MEE) and degradation of basal lamina within, compared with control palatal shelves in cultures. Additionally, apoptosis was detected in mesenchyme of atRA-treated palatal shelves. Further experiment revealed that pSmad2 was abrogated by atRA. Conclusion atRA induced failure of palatal fusion through inhibition of apoptosis of the MEE cell and degradation of basal lamina within medial edge epithelial seam. Inhibition of pSmad2 may account for the failure of palatal fusion by atRA.

Objective To retrospectively analyzed the echocardiographic characteristics of ventricular diverticula in fetuses ,children and adults ,and discuss the main points of diagnoses and prognoses of ventricular diverticula . Methods Echocardiographic characteristics ,clinical data and intraoperative findings of ventricular diverticula of 8 fetuses ,3 children and 14 adults were summarized . Results The ventricular diverticula in 8 fetuses and 3 children were all single . Twenty five diverticula were found in the 14 adult patients ;in other words ,there were 3 multiple diverticula found in adult group . A statistical difference was found in ratio of diverticula area and corresponding ventricular area ( P = 0 .021 ) ,and corresponding ventricular fractional shortening ( P =0 .003) between fetal and single adult ventricular diverticula . There were 2 cases with ventricular septal defects ,1 with pericardial effusion ,1 with single umbilical artery ,and 2 with atrioventricular valvular regurgitation in fetal cases . Congenital complex cardiac disease and dextrocardia were found in 1 child . There were 1 case with supravalvular aortic stenosis , 1 with nonobstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy ,1 with left ventricular noncompaction ,and 1 with mitral reguigitation in adult group . All the 7 diverticula with ventricular arrhythmias ,ST‐T changes and abnormal Q wave were fibrous type . And 2 multiple diverticula were accompanied with ventricular dysfunction . Among the fetal cases ,2 cases were born ,3 cases were terminated pregnancy ,and 3 cases were lost to follow up . Three children and 2 adults were underwent cardiac operations for diverticula with good outcomes . No such complications as cardiac rupture ,thromboembolism ,and sudden death were found . Conclusions Echocardiography is a useful method to diagnose ventricular diverticulum ,especially for fetuses ,and provide the basis for prognosis consultation .

Tong-Mai(TM) granules were composed ofRadix Salviae Miltiorrhizae(Danshen),Rhizoma Chuanxiong(Chuanxiong) andRadix Puerariae(Gegen). It had the effect of activating blood circulation. It had been used to treat ischemic cardio-cerebrovascular diseases in the clinical practice. This research combined serum pharmacochemistry and serum pharmaocology to study the material basis of active components in TM granules. After single or multiple intragastric administrations of TM granules, serum blood samples of rats were collected at different time points. LC-MS/MS method was developed to analyze chemical components of TM in blood serum samples. The cardiomyocyte hypoxia / reoxygenation (H/R) model was used in the evaluation of cardiomyocyte protection by TM. The correlation analysis was also conducted between serum concentration of TM and cardiomyocyte activity. The results showed that 8 components of pueraria flavonoid, 5 components of salvianolic acids and 2 components fromGegen were promptly absorbed and reached their highest concentrations at 5 or 30 min after administration. After 3 times of medication, the serum concentration was obviously higher compared to single medication. The drug-serum of TM showed significant protective effect on the cardiomyocyte H/R injury with dose-effect relationship. Daidzein, lithospermic acid, salvianolic acid A, salvianic acid A and rosmarinic acid presented as the most correlated components linked to the effect of activating blood circulation by TM. The serum pharmacochemistry / serum pharmacology related studies provided references for the verification of material basis of active components in compound Chinese medicine.
