Objective To evaluate the performances of high-sensitivity cardiac troponin I ( cTnI ) on VITRO ECIQ with enhanced chemiluminescence method .Methods This verification study validated the limited of detection, function sensitivity, imprecision, linearity of the high-sensitivity cardic troponin used VITROS ECIQ according to the document EP-17A, EP-6A,EP-15A published by Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) and determined 99th percentiles. All 652 patients with chest pain on immediate admission in TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital during January to November 2013 were enrolled in this study.Including 323 cases of acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction and non ST segment elevation myocardial infarction patients as the case group , exclude 329 cases of other diagnosis ,303 cases of apparent normal people as control group .The receiver operating characteristic curve was used to evaluated the sensitivity and the specificity of cTnI . Non-normal distribution of quantitative data were used nonparametric test Mann-Whitney U, With P<0.05 for the difference was statistically significant .Results The LoB was 0.006 5 ng/ml and the LoD was 0.015 5 ng/ml;the FS was 0.016 76 ng/ml;repeatability CV
was 1.73 % -2.33 %, reproducibility CV was 4.93% -9.96%.The imprecision were lower than that declared by assay producer. The linearity was 0.015 5-78.4 ng/ml(R2 =0.999 9); the 99th percentile reference value was 0.017 ng/ml.The area under the curve ( AUC) of cTnI was 0.986,95%CI 0.973 -0.994,with the cut-off value as 0.017 ng/ml, the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity in CIN were 90.09%and 99.34%.Compared between STEMI and NSTEMI groups after admission , the levels of cTnI had no significantly difference , Z were -0.485, P >0.05;compared between STEMI and control groups after admission, the levels of cTnI had significantly difference , Z were -19.567,P<0.001;compared between NSTEMI and control groups after admission , the levels of cTnI had significantly difference , Z were-14.598,P<0.001.Conclusions High-sensitivity cardiac troponin I detection by VITROS ECIQ with enhanced chemiluminescence method has good performances of sensitivity , linearity, specificity, which meet the clinical needs.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(4):594-595
Objective To investigate the value of ultrasound diagnosing for hydropneumothorax. Methods In a prospective double-blind randomized concurrent controlled trial. 213 patients doubted pneumotborax were exam-ined with CT, senography and conventional radiography. Results In 213 cases, hydropneumothorax diagnosed in 30 hemithoraces of 30 patients by CT,29 hemitboraces by ultrasound and 22 hemithoraces by X-ray. The sensitivity, nega-tive predictive value, accuracy by ultrasound and X-ray were 96.7% vs 73.3% ,99.8% vs 98.0% ,99.8 vs 98.1% respectively(P<0.05), the specificity and positive predictive value of both ultrasound and X-ray were 100%. Ultra-sound surpassed the X-ray in detecting pneumothorax ( McNemar test P<0.025 ). Conclusion If ultrasound is served to detect pneumothorax, it can make up the defects of the methods commonly used cuxrently.

Objective To assess the value of multi-slice spiral CT angiography (MSCTA) in diagnosis of posterior nutcracker syndrome (NCS). Methods MSCTA of 15 patients clinically diagnosed as posterior NCS (patient group) and 50 subjects with normal renal vessels (control group) were retrospectively analyzed. The anatomy, course and relationship to the adjacent structure of left renal vein (LRV) and its branches were observed. The anteroposterior diameter (d1) and cross areas (s1) of the angle of control group and posterior abdominal artery (AA), the anteroposterior diameter (d2) and cross areas (s2) at the largest lumen near the renal hilar were measured and the ratio of s2/s1 and d2/ d1 were calculated. Results All LRVs posterior AA of patient group were compressed and narrowing with dilating apparently near the renal hilar. The difference of d2 was not significant (P>0.05), but of other values were significant (P<0.05).Conclusion MSCTA can show anatomy and three-dimentional trend clearly of LRV for posterior NCS, and evaluate the extent of narrow and dilating lumen accurately with cross areas measuring.

RNA-Sequencing (RNA-Seq) is a newly-developed method in transcriptome research, it can afford more accurate transcription information and be more quickly by using Next-generation Sequencing (NGS) technology. RNA-Seq has been widely used in various biological fields. Genuine traditional Chinese medicines (TCM), with good quality and therapeutic effect, were always praised highly and used by famous physicians. The geo-herbalism formation of TCM is based on the product of the gene expression at specific space and time. So it has been a research hotspot to analyze the mechanism of biosynthesis through RNA-Seq in the study on the secondary metabolism of medicinal plant. This article mainly illustrates the RNA-Seq and its advantages, it also discusses the potential application in genuine TCM, and it can provide useful information for other researchers.

Pericellular matrix (PCM) is a narrow tissue region surrounding chondrocytes, which "chondron" with its enclosed cells. A number of studies suggested that PCM is rich in proteoglycans, collagen and fibronectin, and plays an important role in regulating microenvironment of chondrocytes. Direct measures of PCM properties through micropipette aspiration technique showed that PCM was different from mechanical property of chondrocytes and nature extracellular matrix. However, the function of PCM is not clear, and need further study.

7.Metabolic response and dynamic nutrition support after trauma.
Chinese Journal of Burns 2013;29(4):335-337
Trauma can induce a series of dynamic metabolic responses with different characteristics in three stages, including ebb phase, flow phase, and recovery phase. Nutrition support after trauma should be dynamically adjusted according to metabolic response and its individual phase, focusing on energy balance as well as metabolic modulation, adjusting immunological response to trauma by reduction of the exaggerated cytokines production, maintaining body protein balance, and enhancing wound healing.

Genuine medicinal materials with special characteristics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is recognized as high quality medicine. Both ancient records and modern research considered that the origin is an important reason for the formation of genuine medicinal materials. However, blindly transplanting of genuine medicinal materials has led to the quality decline and counterfeit medicines appeared in production or sale progress, which may increase the risk of accidents in TCM. Frequent accidents emerged in Chinese herbal affects its export. What's more, it is a great threat to the medication safety in TCM clinical. There is an urgent need to implement traceability systems of TCM, which could provide convenient information record and traceability of TCM circulation. This paper reviews a variety of technical methods for genuine medicinal materials traceability, and proposed the establishment of genuine medicinal materials traceability system based on two-dimensional code and network database.
