Objective To investigate the risk factors,clinical and coronary angiographic characteristics in women less than 50 years with coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods One hundred and twenty-six women less than 50 years were divided into CHD group and non-CHD group according to the result of coronary angiography(CAG).Risk factors,clinical and coronary angiographic characteristics were investigated retrospectively.Results In 6395 cases who were given CAG in the corresponding time period,126(1197%)women were less than 50 years,and 44 cases were confirmed as having CHD by CAG[CHD group,mean age(46.8±3.6)years)].Meanwhile 82 cases were in non-CHD group[mean age(45.4±4.3)years)].The incidence rate of hypertension[77.3%(34/44)vs 26.8%(22/82)],diabetes mellitus[34.1%(15/44)vs 4.9%(4/82)],hyperlipidemia[43.2%(19/44)vs 7.3%(6/82)],family history of CHD[43.2%(19/44)vs 7.3%(6/82)],and risk factors of family history of CHD[52.3%(23/44)vs 12.2%(10/82)]had significant difference between CHD group and non-CHD group(P<0.01).88.6%(39/44)CHD palients were acute coronary syndrome,50.0%(20/44)lesion was one-vessel lesion.Left anterior descending coronary was involved most easily.The degree of calcification was lighter.The type.of lesion was mostly localized and segmented.Conclusions Hypertension,hypedipidemia,diabetes mellitus,family history of CHD,and risk factors of family history of CHD are the major risk faetom in women less than 50 years with CHD. The possibility of CHD is higher when having classical angina and multiple risk faetom.

Objective To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of dysmenorrhea among female college students in Changchun city, so as to provide scientific basis for health promotion and effective preventive measurement. Methods Non-randomized convenience sampling and face to face interview were used to collect information from female college students aged between 17 and 25 years in 14 universities in Changchun. Chi-square test and logistic regression model were used to analyze influencing factors of dysmenorrhea. Results The average age of 1 071 subjects was 21.21 ± 1.83 years. The prevalence of dysmenorrhea was 86.55%. The proportion of mild dysmenorrhea among the subjects was 62.56%, followed by 33.01% with moderate dysmenorrhea and 4.43% with severe dysmenorrhea; 80.76% of subjects paid attention to keep warm in the daily life. Normal BMI, sleeping before 23 o'clock or between 23 to 24 o'clock, taking exercise frequently or everyday might be the protective factors of dysmenorrhea, and the OR values (95% CI) were respectively as 0.60 (0.37-0.97), 0.56 (0.37-0.84), 0.42 (0.22-0.78) and 0.63(0.42-0.97). Tension and the family history of dysmenorrhea might be the risk factors, and the OR values (95%CI) were respectively 1.63 (1.10-2.41), 4.84 (2.80-8.35). Conclusion The prevalence of dysmenorrhea is high among female college students. Lacking exercise, BMI less than 18.5 kg/m2, staying up late, tension and the family history of dysmenorrhea may be the influencing factors of dysmenorrhea among female college students.

OBJECTIVETo establish a near-infrared qualitative analysis model to identify the authenticity of Polygonum multiflo- rum and distinguish processed products Polygoni Multiflori Radix.

METHODThe NIR spectra were peformed on over 30 batches of P. multiflorum and Polygoni Multiflori Radix samples and the adulterants Cynanchum bungei, Pteroxygonum giraldii, Polygonum cillinerve to establish the qualitative discriminant model and the conformity test model of Polygonum multifiorum , and cluster analysis was used to analyze the samples from different origins.

RESULTThe model is able to identify correctly P. multiflorum with its counterfeit, and distinguish between P. multiflorum and Polygoni multiflori Radix.

CONCLUSIONNear-infrared spectroscopy can be applied in the identification of P. multiflorum, which could be used to screen Chinese herbal medicine preliminarily.

Objective To verify whether the concomitant performance of modified radical inguinal lymphadenectomy and penectomy may increase complications and compromise oncological effectiveness.Methods From June 2002 to June 2010,a total of 110 simultaneous inguinal lymphadenectomies were performed on 55 patients (mean age 49 years),including 107 modified radical lymphadenectomies,2 radical lymphadenectomies and 1 lymphadenectomy before which the sapheous vein was resected.The records of all patients were reviewed.Results Of 107 simultaneously modified radical inguinal lymphadenectomy,only 1 (0.9％) had wound infection.There were 18 ( 16.8％ ) leg lymphedema and 6 (5.6％) skin flap necrosis,postoperatively.The average number of inguinal lymph nodes dissected was 11 (3 -23 ).Overall 3-year survival was 84％.Conclusions Penile surgery combined with simultaneously modified radical inguinal lymphadenectomy could be feasible,which may have oncological control without increasing the risk of surgical complications.

Objective To report a modified radical inguinal lymphadenectomy the aim of which is to reduce the incidence of the complication of skin necrosis.Methods One hundred and twenty-six modified radical inguinal dissections were performed in 63 patients with penile carcinoma from June 2002 to June 2010.A modified radical inguinal dissection characterized by an S-shaped incision and precisely separating layers using an anatomical mark was performed.The boundaries of dissection were the same as classic radical inguinal lymphadenectomy.The incidences of complications of skin flap necrosis were retrospectively analyzed.Results The follow-up time ranged from 12 to 93 months.A total of 37 complications occurred,including 7 minimal skin necroses (5.6％),3 wound infections (2.4％),19 lymphedemas (15.1％),2 seroma formations (1.6％),5 lymphocele (4.0％),and 1 deep venous thrombosis (0.8％).There were no complications in 106 dissections (84.1％ ),and 20 dissections had one or two minor complications ( 15.9％ ).Conclusions The complication of skin necrosis related to groin dissection in patients with penile carcinoma could be reduced by using this modified inguinal dissection technique,which characterized by an S-shaped incision and precisely separating layers with using an anatomical landmark.

Objective: To investigate the influencing factors for myopia among primary and secondary school students in Suzhou, so as to provide basis for myopia prevention and control. Methods: The students in Grade 4-12 were recruited by stratified cluster random sampling method. Gender, grade, parents＇ myopia history, outdoor activity time and video display terminal time were collected through the questionnaire of National Surveillance Program of Influencing Factors for Common Diseases and Health in Students. Uncorrected visual acuity and cycloplegic refraction were tested. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to explore myopia-related factors. Results: A total of 990 questionnaires were distributed, and 882 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective rate of 89.09%. The prevalence rate of myopia was 78.23% ( 690 cases ). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that females ( OR=1.703, 95%CI: 1.173-2.474 ) , middle school students ( OR:5.597-11.949, 95%CI: 3.573-28.349 ) , both parents＇myopia ( OR=2.445, 95%CI: 1.597-3.742 ) , video display terminal time over 3 hours per day ( OR=2.026, 95%CI: 1.235-3.325 ) were risk factors for myopia; outdoor activity time over 2 hours per day ( OR: 0.493-0.510, 95%CI: 0.273-0.943 ) was a protective factor for myopia. Conclusion The prevalence of myopia among primary and secondary school students in Suzhou is 78.23%. Gender, grade, parents＇ myopia history, outdoor activity time and video display terminal time are influencing factors for myopia.

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of sinew-regulating and bone-setting manipulation combined with functional exercise to treat mild to moderate rotator cuff injury (RCI).Methods:Forty patients with mild to moderate RCI were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with 20 cases in each group.The treatment group was given sinew-regulating and bone-setting manipulation combined with functional exercise,and the control group was given the same manipulation as the treatment group.The therapeutic effect on the functional improvement was assessed after treatment according to pain threshold,shoulder range of motion (ROM) including flexion,abduction,internal rotation and external rotation,and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) shoulder rating score.Results:Compared with the same group before treatment,the pain threshold,shoulder flexion,abduction,internal and external rotations increased after the treatment in the two groups (all P＜0.05).The UCLA shoulder rating score increased (both P＜0.05).The improvement in the treatment group is significantly better than that in the control group with a statistical significance (P＜0.05).The total effective rate was 95.0％ in the treatment group,was higher than 65.0％ in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The sinew-regulating and bone-setting manipulation combined with functional exercise relieve the pain of patients with mild to moderate RCI,increase the motion of shoulder joints,and improve the quality of life of patients.The curative effect is better than the treatment of simple sinew-regulating and bone-setting manipulation.
