Objective To investigate early renal damage of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients and the risk factors related to their renal function. Methods CHB patients who visited the second people’s hospital but did not receive systemic treatment were enrolled in our study. Those who visited for general check-up with no hepatic findings during the same period were selected as control group. Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) of all the participants were estimated by simplified MDRD equation and CKD-EPI equation (designated as M-eGFR and C-eGFR respectively). Influence factors of eGFR were statistically analyzed. Results In the total 528 cases in CHB group, 88 (16.67%) and 62 (11.74%) suffered declined M-eGFR and C-eGFR respectively. By contrast, 10 (8.77%) and 6 (5.26%) cases in the total 114 cases in control group present declined M-eGFR and C-eGFR ac?cordingly. Percentages of renal function impairment, estimated by both M-eGFR and C-eGFR, were higher in the CHB group than those in control group. The difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.518, P<0.05;χ2=4.156, P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that age, HBsAg and body mass index (BMI) were risk factors of M-eGFR while age, HBsAg, gender and serum albumin were risk factors of C-eGFR. On the other hand, HBV-DNA and HBeAg were not risk factors for M-eGFR or C-eGFR. Conclusion HBV infection can lead to early renal damage. Age and HBsAg are main risk factors of renal function impairment. Therefore, renal function should be scrutinized in CHB patients.

Objective To label human VEGF targeted bevacizumab (avastin) with 111In and to evaluate the application of 111 In?DTPA?avastin SPECT imaging for tumor diagnosis. Methods DTPA?avastin was prepared by coupling with a bifunctional chelating agent, and then labeled with 111 In to obtain 111 In?DTPA?avastin. The stability and molecular integrity of the labeled radiotracer were studied. Human hepatoma cell ( BEL7404) bearing nude mice tumor model was employed for tumor targeting evaluation. Gamma imaging was acquired after intravenous injection of 18.5 MBq probe. At the end of the observation, animals were sac?rificed for bio?distribution study. Results 111 In?DTPA?avastin tracer was synthesized and purified to a?chieve a radiochemical purity yield above 98% and specific activity up to 185 GBq/nmol. Its stability in 5%BSA was optimal, and the radiochemical purity after incubation for 96 h was over 90%. Gamma imaging re?sults showed that the tracer possessed definite tumor targeting property. Its biodistribution was consistent with that of normal in vivo antibody metabolism while possessing a good tumor?targeting property with a relatively high uptake of (3.8±0.8) %ID/g in tumor tissues 96 h after injection. Conclusions 111 In?DTPA?avastin tracer has good physicochemical properties, in vivo stability and good VEGF targeted binding. 111 In?DTPA?avastin has potential to be a new molecular probe for SPECT imaging.

Objective To prepare 68Ga-PSMA-617 and perform its microPET imaging on both normal BALB/c mice and BGC-823 (PSMA expression) tumor bearing mice.Methods 68GaCl3 was eluted from 68Ge-68Ga generator by 0.05 mol/L HCl,then added to the DKFZ-PSMA-617 and heated at 85 ℃ for 5 min.The labeling efficiency and in vitro stability of 68Ga-PSMA-617 in sodium chloride solution and HAS were analyzed by radio-HPLC.Water partition coefficient and plasma protein binding rate were also evaluated.MicroPET imaging was performed in normal female BALB/c mice and human gastric tumor (BGC-823) bearing mice at 60 min post-injection of 68Ga-PSMA-617.18F-FDG was also injected to BGC-823 tumor bearing mice to acquire microPET imaging for contrast.Results The labeling yield of 68Ga-PSMA-617 was 97.9％,and it could be used directly without purification.68Ga-PSMA-617 showed good in vitro stability in sodium chloride solution and 5％ HAS,the radiochemical purities were 94.9％ and 81.0％ respectively at 80 min post-incubation.68Ga-PSMA-617 was water-solubility substance,and it cleared mainly through the kidneys.MicroPET imaging showed that 68Ga-PSMA-617 could be accumulated in tumor (T/NT=2.28),which was better than 18F-FDG.Conclusions Preparation of 68Ga-PSMA-617 is convenient and has a high labeling yield.It can specifically target to PSMA expression tumors and has a promising prospect in clinical application.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of sleep deprivation on expressions of Mir-132,mir-134 in the different regions of rat brain.MethodsAll the male SD rats were divided into control group ( normal sleep group),sleep deprivation (SD).The modified multiple platform method (MMPM) was used to establish sleep deprivation model.Mir-132,mir-134 level was detected by real time PCR.ResultsMir-132 were significantly increased in SD groups in hippocampus compared with the control groups ( 51.87 ± 8.13 vs 67.25 ± 7.59 ) (P ＜0.01 ).Mir-134 were significantly decreased in SD groups compared with the control groups( 1.82 ±0.15 vs 1.45± 0.12 )(P ＜ 0.01 ).There were no statistically significant differences in cortex and thalamus (P ＞ 0.05 ).Cortex mir-132 level in SD group and control group was 1.57 ±0.10,1.48 ±0.11 respectively,and it was 1.37 ±0.09,1.36 ±0.11 in thalamus;Cortex mir-134 level in SD group and control group was 98.26 ± 5.17,100.80 ±4.15respectively,and it was 97.56 ± 6.28,91.01 ± 4.07 in thalamus.ConclusionThe upregulation of mir-132 and downregulation of mir-134 implies that two miRNAs did opposite actions in the processes of sleep deprivation.This findings indicate that hippocampus mir-132,mir-134 levels in the SD rat may reflect associated depressive patho-physiological processes.

Purpose::With the increasing level of automation in automobiles, the advent of autonomous vehicles has reduced the tendency of drivers and passengers to focus on the task of driving. The increasing automation in automobiles reduced the drivers' and passengers' focus on driving, which allowed occupants to choose a more relaxed and comfortable sitting position. Meanwhile, the occupant's sitting position went from a frontal, upright position to a more relaxed and reclined one, which resulted in the existing restraint systems cannot to keep occupants safe and secure. This study aimed to determine the effects of different reclining states on occupants' lumbar and neck injuries.Methods::This is an original research on the field of automotive safety engineering. Occupants in different initial sitting positions (25°, 35°, 45°, and 55°) were adapted to changes in seat back angle and restraint systems and placed in the same frontal impact environment. Neck injury indexes, lumbar axial compression force and acceleration, as well as occupant dynamic response during the impact, were compared in different sitting positions. The injury response and kinematic characteristics of occupants in different reclining positions were analyzed by the control variable method.Results::As the sitting angle increased, the occupant's head acceleration decreased, and the forward-lean angle decreased. Occupants in the standard sitting position had the greatest neck injury, with an N ij of 0.95, and were susceptible to abbreviated injury scale 2+ cervical medullary injuries. As the seatback angle increased, the geometric position of the lumbar spine tended to be horizontal, and the impact load transmitted greater forces to the lumbar spine. The occupant's lumbar injury was greatest in the lying position, with a peak axial compression force on the lumbar region of 5.5 KN, which was 2.3 KN greater than in the standard sitting position. Conclusion::The study of occupant lumbar and neck injuries based on different recline states can provide a theoretical basis for optimizing lumbar evaluation indexes, which is conducive to the understanding of the lumbar injury mechanism and the comprehensive consideration of occupant safety protection.

Objective To analyze the outcome of total knee arthroplasty with retaining patellar in osteoarthritis.Methods 45 knee joints in osteoarthritis were performed operatively with posterior stabilized knee arthroplasty between January 2005 and June 2008. The series include 7 sides(males) and 38 sides(females). The mean age of patients was 65.7 years ranging from 52 to 79 years, and the data were analyzed by The Hospital for Special Surgery(HSS) score system. Results The follow-up period was averagely 25 months ranging from 8 to 51 months. According to HSS score system, 28 sides were rated as excellent（62.2%）, 12 sides as good（26.7%）, 4 fair（8.9%）and 1 poor（2.2%）, and the excellent-good rate was 88.9%. Conclusion Posterior stabilized knee arthroplasty with retaining patellar represents a simple and valuable treatment methodology for the most osteoarthritis of the knee joint.

Objective:To investigate the effects of the β-casomorphin-7 on in vitro and in vivo mice splenic lymphocyte and macrophage nitric oxide production.Methods:Splenocytes proliferation assay and nitrite determination were employed for the studies of effects of β-casomorphin-7 on mice splenic lymphocyte and macrophage following in vitro stimulation of β-casomorphin-7 and in vivo intrapetitoneal administration and drinking β-casomorphin-7 solution administration.Results:In vitro study, β-casomorphin-7 showed a stimulation as well as a suppression of lymphocyte proliferation and significantly(P＜0.01) suppressed the production of nitric oxide. In vivo study, β-casomorphin-7 actions on lymphocytes and macrophages were accordant in intraperitoneal administration and drinking β-casomorphin-7 solution administration. β-casomorphin-7 significantly(P＜0.01) increased in splenic lymphocyte proliferative response and suppressed nitric oxide production in peritoneal macrophages.Conclusion:The present study indicates that the β-casomorphin-7 has the immunomodulatory effects and β-casomorphin-7 may be permeable into peripheral blood intact in mice of 2-3 weeks of age.

Objective To evaluate the changes of the waveform of the photopic negative response in flash-electroretinogram, visual acuity and central retinal thickness in the treatment of intravitreal injections of bevacizumub. Design Retrospective self-comparative case series. Partidpants 8 subjects (9 eyes) with exudative age-related macular degeneration and 3 subjects (3eyes) with proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Method Evaluation protocol included examinations of the Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy study visual acu-ity, visual field, intraocular pressure, fundus fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography and flash-electroretinogram. Intravit-real injections of bevacizumab, 1.25 mg (0.05ml), were given under an operating microscope and aseptic conditions. All the subjects were followed-up one month later. Main outcome Measure The amplitudes of PhNR, visual acuity and central retinal thickness. Re-sult At 1 months, the mean amplitudes of PhNR and mean visual acuity in all cases had no obvious change (n=12, P>0.05).The central retinal thickness reduced obviously (n=12, P<0.05), but it was neither significantly correlated with PhNR (r=0.294, P=0.145) nor with visual acuity(r=-0.358, P=0.073). Conclusion The single intravitreal injection of bevacizumab is showed promising in absorption of in-traretinal edema and subretinal fluid in patients with exudative age-related macular degeneration and proliferative diabetic retinopathy, but the changes of visual function (including PhNR) might need further investigation.
