Objective To evaluate the diagnosis and treatment of duodenal neuroendocrine tumors.Method We retrospectively analyzed data of 15 patients with duodenal neuroendocrine tumors admitted between August 1999 and July 2012.Result In all the 15 cases accurate and definitive diagnosis were achieved via pathological examination and immunohistochemistry.Clinical diagnostic methods included ultrasound, endoscopy, upper gastrointestinal imaging, abdominal CT,MRI,etc.7 cases underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy,2 cases were treated by local excision,4 cases by endoscopic excision, and total gastrectomy and distal gastrectomy was performed in one each case. Conclusions The diagnosis of duodenal neuroendocrine tumors is established mainly by endoscopy and diagnostic imaging.Surgical resection is the treatment of choice.Pancreatoduodenectomy and local excision is applicable for G2 and G3 patients while endoscopic excision can be used for G1 patients.

Objective To analyze the survival status of inpatients with cervical cancer registered in Nantong admitted in Nantong Cancer Hospital from 2002 to 2017. Methods Inpatients with cervical cancer in Nantong Cancer Hospital were followed up from 2017 until December 31, 2020 using active and passive methods to determine their survival outcome. The rate of follow-up loss was statistically analyzed by Chi-square test, the observed survival rate for each year was calculated using the life table, the survival curve was drawn with R language, and the survival rates of patients in different age groups and from different regions were compared with log-rank test (Mantel-Cox). Results A total of 5645 cervical cancer cases were registered. Among them, the survival outcome was recorded for 5512 cases. The success rate of follow-up was 97.64%, and the loss of follow-up rate was 2.36%. The average age of onset was 56.67±12.78 years. The median survival time was 6.54 years, and the 1-, 3-, 5-, and 10-year observed survival rates were 91.50%, 76.95%, 60.99%, and 28.51%, respectively. Among the age groups, significant differences in survival rate were observed between the 15- and 60-year-old groups (

Aim To investigate the effects of Gubu decoction combined with intraluminal reconstruction on bi-pedal vibration sensation threshold and microcirculation in patients with lower extremity arteriosclerotic occlusive disease(LEAOD).Methods A total of 152 patients who came to Lishui Gentral Hospital for LEAOD treatment from April 2021 to April 2023 were divided into the observation group(intraluminal reconstruction+Gubu decoction,76 cases)and the control group(intraluminal reconstruction,76 cases)by random number table method, and the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores, clinical efficacy, microcirculation indicators and bifoot vibration sensation threshold of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes such as limb pain, limb numbness, intermittent claudication, and limb fear of cold decreased after treatment in both groups, and the decrease of ob-servation group was more obvious(P<0.05).The clinical effect of observation group(96.05%)was significantly higher than that of control group(84.21%)(P<0.05).After treatment, the flow state integral, tube loop integral and periloop integral decreased, and the apical vessel diameter increased in both groups, and the changes of various indexes in the ob-servation group were more significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the threshold of sensation in both groups decreased, and the observation group was significantly lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Gubu decoction combined with intraluminal reconstruction can effectively reduce the foot sensation threshold and improve the microcirculation of affected limbs in LEAOD patients.

Objective:To analyze the survival of 451 hospitalized patients with gallbladder cancer from Nantong Tumor Hospital, and provide evidence for prognosis evaluation and comprehensive prevention and treatment of gallbladder cancer. Methods:A combination of active and passive follow-up methods were used to trace the survival outcomes of patients with gallbladder cancer hospitalized in Nantong Tumor Hospital from 2007 to 2017.The gender and age distribution,as well as the trend in the change of the number of patients over time was statistically analyzed.Kaplan-Meier method was used to analyze the survival rate of the patients, and Log-rank test was used to compare the difference in the survival rate of patients with different gender, age,TNM staging and time period of hospitalization. Results:A total of 451 hospitalized patients with gallbladder cancer from 6 counties/districts in Nantong area from 2007 to 201 7 were included in this study.Cancer survival outcomes of 449 patients were obtained through follow-up,with a success rate of 99.56%.Among them,218 were male and 233 were female, and the average age at the initial hospitalization was(64.78±11.44)years,with a median age of 67 years. The majority of the patients were aged 60-79 years old, accounting for 60.75%(274 cases)of the patients. The 1-,3-,and 5-year observed survival rates of all patients were 34.59%,15.30%,and 10.25%,respectively.The 5-year survival rates of male and female patients were 7.75%and 12.47%respectively,with no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The 5-year survival rates of patients in the age groups of 0-34 years,35-59 years,60-79 years, and ≥80 years were 25.00%,14.53%,8.66%,and 2.94%,respectively,with statistically significant differences(P<0.01).The 5-year survival rates stratified by TNM stage were 27.78%,20.83%,13.44%,3.48%and 11.11%,for stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,and unclassified, respectively, with statistically significant differences(P<0.001).The 5-year survival rates of patients with gallbladder cancer hospitalized from 2007 to 2011 and from 2012 to 2017 were 10.81%and 9.99%,respectively,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:Patients with gallbladder cancer in Nantong from 2007 to 2017 were mainly middle-aged people and elderlies, and the survival rates of these patients significantly decreased with increasing age, with no significant difference observed in different gender groups, indicating the need to strengthen the research for comprehensive prevention and treatment for middle-aged and elderly patients to improve their prognosis.
