Objective To reveal inpatient service utilization and medical burden in disease-caused poor rural families, for policy references. Methods By means of convenience sampling method,face-toface interview was made to inpatients from such families in Miyi County of Sichuan Province,Binhai County of Jiangsu Province and Xingtai County of Hebei Province. Results Totally 453 effective questionnaires were collected, with an effective rate of 96.7%.Respondents feature low income and fund raising capability, while 75.3% of them pay their inpatient costs out-of-pocket,17.7% pay with loans from others and 7.1% pay by financial assistance from relatives;but they tend to go to higher level hospitals and have higher financial burdens for diseases. Conclusions Rural hospitalization resources should be optimized and integrated, levels of the New Rural Cooperative Medical System be improved, the catastrophic health care system be perfected and the health insurance coverage be gradually expanded for the low-income and marginalized population.

Objective The aim of this study was to establish a reasonable protocol for a rat model of ferric chloride-induced carotid arterial thrombosis by ultrasonic continuous evaluation. Methods Twenty SD rats were randomly divided into four groups and then treated with 20%,30%,40% or 50% concentrations of FeCl3,respectively.The vascular conditions were evaluated by 14L ultrasonic probe,at 10 mins,15 mins, and 20 mins.We then selected the best group through the examination of the rate of spontaneous reperfusion of blood vessels and the rate of reperfusion after intravenous injection of urokinase. At the end of the experiment, vessels were fixed in 10% formalin solution and stained with HE.Results After external application of FeCl3 on rat common carotid artery for 20 mins, the artery occlusion rate was 100%,20%,0% and 0% in animals receiving 50%,40%,30% and 20% FeCl3,respectively.After external application of FeCl3 on rat common carotid artery for 120 mins, the spontaneous revascularization rate was 0% in 50% concentration group whereas were 100% in rest other groups (P< 0.001).In 50% concentration group, the partial recanalization rate was 40% after intravenous injection of urokinase.HE staining revealed that the thrombus was dense and the lumen was partially recanalized after the urokinase intervention in 50% concentration group. Conclusion By use of uultrasonic continuous evaluation of ferric chloride-induced thrombosis of rat common carotid artery,we have demonstrated that external application of 50% ferric chloride solution for 20 mins is effective for the formation of thrombus model, which may be suitable for the studv of thrombolysis.

Objective:To investigate the sensitivity and the specificity of scorpions amplification refractory mutation system ( ARMS) in comparing with that of direct DNA sequencing in the detection of BRAF gene mutations in patients with papillary thyroid microcarcinoma. Methods:Direct sequencing and ARMS were used simultaneously to detect BRAF mutation status in 56 patients with PTMC.Results:BRAF mutations were identified in 46 cases with a mutation rate of 82.9%by ARMS,while in 18 cases with a mutation rate of 32.1%by direct sequencing.Besides, the sensitivity of ARMS was 100%and that of direct sequencing was 39.1%.There were significant differences of both mutation rate and sensitivity between two methods ( P<0.01 ).Conclusion: Compared to direct sequencing,ARMS gains a higher sensitivity in the detection of BRAF mutations in samples with tiny lesions.

Objective:
To explore the differences of sensory manifestations between ASD children and typical development children, and to clarify the characteristics of sensory abnormalities in ASD and their relationship with various clinical symptoms, so as to provide scientific basis for early identification and specific intervention.
Methods:
A total of 265 ASD children who received rehabilitation training in autism rehabilitation institutions in Heilongjiang Province were collected as the case group, and 223 typical development children in ordinary kindergartens and schools in Harbin were taken as the control group. Short Sensory Profile (SSP) was used to evaluate the difference of children s sensory perception level between the two groups, and Social Response Scale (SRS) and Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC) were used to evaluate the severity of symptoms including social disorder of autistic children. The correlation between SSP scores in ASD group and clinical scales was analyzed.
Results:
The comparison of SSP scores between the two groups found that the median scores of all sensory dimensions in ASD group (tactile=33, taste/smell=18, motion sensitivity=13, Low response/sensation seeking=28, auditory filtering=19, low strength=22, visual/auditory=20) were lower than those of the healthy control group( Z =-2.73,-4.36,-3.17,-5.09,-11.00,-10.45,-3.43, P <0.05). The abnormal rate of multisensory score in children in ASD group was 55.1%, and that in control group was 21.2%, with significant difference( χ 2=57.15, P <0.05). Correlation analysis showed that SSP score in ASD group was negatively correlated with all dimensions of SRS, nonverbal communication, and social function of ADI-R scale, ADOS communication and social interaction, and total scores of ABC and CARS( P < 0.05 ).
Conclusion
Children with ASD have atypical sensory experiences, especially in auditory filtering dimension, and the level of atypical sensation is related to the severity of clinical symptoms of autism. In the future clinical diagnosis, treatment and research, it is necessary to strengthen the ability to recognize the sensory symptoms of children with ASD, so as to realize the early diagnosis and intervention.
