The medicine of Yi ethnic plays an important role of the traditional medicine of China. Recently, the facility of Yi ethnic medicine has made great progress on its development process. Now many medicine industries develop the production of Yi ethnic medicine. Thus, this demands a great quantity of Yi ethnic medicine, but it also leads rapid decline with overuse of the medical resources. Here we discussed a series of problems, and put forward the corresponding stradegies of protection of Yi medicine.

Objective To evaluate the in vitro antimicrobial activity of tigecycline in combination with imipenem against multi-drug resistant and pan-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii isolates,so as to discuss the feasibility of drug combination and provide the basis for chnical rational use of antimicrobial agents.Methods Sixteen multi-drug resistant and pan-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii isolates were collected between January and April in 2015 from all kinds of infected specimens of Nanjing Drun Tower Hospital.The protocol was designed by checkerboard method,and the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of antibiotics was determined by microdilution broth method,and the fractional inhibitory concentration (FIC) index was calculated according to MIC results.Results The average value of MIC (MICG),MIC50,MIC90 of tigecycline and imipenem single were 1.73,1,4 μg·mL-1and 31.00,32,64 μg·mL-1.When tigecycline was combined with imipenem,MICG,MIC50,MIC90 of tigecycline and imipenem were 0.24,0.25,0.50 μg·mL-1 and 8.16,8.00,16.00 μg·mL-1,respectively.Compared with the drug single use groups,MIC was significandy decreased in the drug combination group.In 6 strains (37.50％),synergy effect (FIC≤0.5) was observed,and in 10 strains (62.50％),additive effect (0.5 ＜ FIC ≤ 1) was found.No negative and independent effects were shown.Conclusion Both additive and synergistic action is observed when tigecyclineis combined with imipenem against multi-drug resistant and pan-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii isolates.No negative and independent effects are shown.This combination use against multi-drug resistant and pan-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii may be an effective therapy for clinical treatment.

In the present investigation, the cytotoxic activity of tumor necrosis factor a was studied on human lung cancer cells in uitro. A wide range of TNF-ct concentration (from 100 to 10000 U/ml) was tested using the MTT assay. Data presented showed the suppressive effects of TNF-? on A549 dose-dependently and time-dependently; Twenty four hours exposure of A549 human cancer cells lo TNF-? shifted cells from G2 + M,S phase to GO + Gl phase as determined by analysis of isolated cell nuclei with an FACScan cell sorter. The results suggest that the mechanism of the eflect of TNF-a is to influence the cell cvcle of A549.

Objective To evaluate left ventricular torsion in patients after coronary artery bypass graft(CABG) surgery by velocity vector imaging(VVI). Methods Twelve patients who were scheduled to have CABG surgery were enrolled. VVI offline software was used to evaluate myocardial rotation in both basal and apical segment before and three months after CABG. The rotation and rotation rate of each a counterclockwise rotation at the apex and a clockwise rotation at the base, and the absolute value of CABG the rotation at the base was significantly improved than that before CABG (P <0.001), and the rotation in the segment of anterior septum, anterior wail and inferior septum at the base was higher than that rotation in the apical and basal segment three months after CABG was also significantly higher than that negative peak rotation rate in the early diastolic period at the apex were significantly higher than those at the improved than that before CABG (P <0.001). And the positive peak rotation of the systolic period in the segment of anterior septum,anterior wall,lateral wall and inferior septum and the negative peak rotation of the diastolic period in the segment of anterior and inferior septum at the base were also higher than those before CABG (P <0.001). Conclusions VVI is a useful method which can quantitatively assess left ventrieular torsion in patients before and after CABG surgery.

AIM: To investigate the regulatory effects of nuclear factor-κB ( NF-κB) and activator protein-1 (AP-1) on the expression of ectopic trypsin and proinflammatory cytokines in influenza A virus (IAV)-induced myocardi-tis.METHODS:Male BALB/c mice of 8 weeks old ( n=40) were randomly divided into 4 groups:normal control group ( NC) , infection control group ( IC) , NF-κB inhibitor group ( NI) and AP-1 inhibitor group ( AI) .The mice in NC group and IC group were instilled intranasally with 15μL saline and 40 plaque forming units ( PFU) IAV, respectively.The mice in NI group and AI group were infected intranasally with 40 PFU IAV and injected intraperitoneally with 10 mg/kg NF-κB inhibitor pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate ( PDTC) or 2.5 mg/kg AP-1 inhibitor nordihydroguaiaretic acid ( NDGA) once daily. The mice were euthanized at day 9 after instillation, and the hearts were removed for pathological and biochemical analysis. RESULTS:IAV infection induced significant up-regulation of ectopic trypsin, and proinflammatory cytokines interleukin 6 (IL-6), IL-1βand tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in the myocardium, and triggered acute myocarditis.PDTC signifi-cantly inhibited NF-κB activation and up-regulation of ectopic trypsin and proinflammatory cytokines, and effectively sup-pressed IAV replication and myocardial inflammatory response (P<0.01).NDGA effectively inhibited AP-1 activity (P<0.01) and mildly suppressed up-regulation of proinflammatory cytokines ( P<0.05) , but had no effects on the expression of ectopic trypsin, IAV replication and the extent of myocarditis ( P>0.05) .CONCLUSION:IAV infection induces up-regulation of ectopic trypsin and proinflammatory cytokines in myocardium predominantly by the activation of NF-κB.AP-1 signaling pathway might be only partially involved in the regulation of proinflammatory cytokines.

On the day of positive urinary LH, the subjects were classified into group A, group B and group C according to Gonen's criterions of endometrial echogenic patterns. Blood samples were taken for measurement of FSH, LH, PRL, E_2, P, T levels on the third day of the cycle, the pre-ovulatory phase, and the sixth or seventh day after ovulation. OBJECTIVE:To develop a preparation and quality control method for sinomenine gel.METHODS:Sinomenine gel was prepared with carpol971as base.TLC and UV were employed for identification of sinomenine.Sinomenine was deter?mined by RP-HPLC.RESULTS:The TLC identification was highly specific and the spots were clear.Recovery was99.6%?1.3%.CONCLUSION:This paper provides a rapid,convenient and accurate method which is suitable for preparation and quality control for sinomenine gel.

Objective To evaluate the rationale of lowering the cutoff value of impaired fasting glucose(IFG)by studying the extent and severity of angiographic coronary artery disease(CAD)and the cardiovascular risk factors in subjects with different fasting plasma glucose(FPG)levels. Methods A total of 911 consecutive patients who had undergone coronary angiography were selected according to inclusion criteria. The subjects were studied in view of the extent and severity of angiographic CAD and the cardiovascular risk factors with different FPG levels. Results (1) Compared with the group of FPG<5.6mmol/L, the numbers of diseased vessels in the group with FPG 5.6-6.0mmol/L were significantly increased(P<0.05)after adjustment of age, sex and other influencing factors; the group with FPG 6.1-6.9mmol/L had both raised number of diseased vessels and the CAD Gensini cumulative index(P<0.01). (2) The prevalences of overweight, hypertension, hypertriglyceridemia, metabolic syndrome were progressively increasing with graded FPG levels. The prevalence of hypertriglyceridemia was significantly increased with FPG level at 5.0-5.6mmol/L(P<0.05),and the prevalences of metabolic syndrome and other components were significantly elevated with FPG level at 5.6-6.0mmol/L(P<0.05). Conclusion (1) The extent and severity of angiographic CAD were increased with increased FPG even in prediabetic period. The risk of angiographic CAD became increased significantly with FPG at 5.6-6.0mmol/L level. (2) The cardiovascular disease(CVD)risk was also increased with increasing FPG even in prediabetic period. The phenomenon of clustering of CVD risk factors was found at FPG 5.6mmol/L.

Objective To study the clinical significance of lung function and allergen detection in the diagnosis of cough variant asthma (CVA) in children. Method Forty-three cases of chronic cough in children with bronchial provocation (diastolic) test and skin prick allergy test results were analyzed, CVA group was 23 cases and control group was 20 cases. Results The positive of bronchial provocation (diastolic) test in CVA group was 19 cases, significantly higher than that in control group (3 cases, χ2=14.745, P ＜ 0.01 ).The positive of skin prick allergy test in CVA group was 17 cases , significantly higher than that in control group (5 cases, χ2 = 10.243,P ＜0.05). The correlation analysis showed that bronchial provocation (diastolic) test and skin prick allergy test was significantly correlated (r =0.404,P＜0.01 ).Conclusion Bronchial provocation (diastolic) test has an important role in the diagnosis of CVA; skin prick allergy test has a supporting role on the CVA diagnosis;allergens affect on lung function, bronchial provocation (diastolic) test with the help of skin prick allergy test in children with cough variant asthma diagnosis.
