Objective To observe the effects of Sanxiaoyuchuang ointment on the mice inflammatory model induced by Dimethylbenzene,bacteria strains in vitro and mice pneumococcus pneumonia model.Methods Mice inflammatory model induced by Dimethylbenzene,in vitro bacteria strains model and mice pneumococcus pneumonia model were founded respectively,randomed and controlled methods were used,exposed to different dosages of Sanxiaoyuchuang ointment,the changes of auricle swelling degree,earcapillary vessel permeability,the growth rate of strains and pneumococcus pneumonia mice's mortality were measured.Results 8% dose Sanxiaoyuchuang group had obvious inhibition effects on mice auricle swelling induced by Dimethylbenzene,it had no obvious difference compared with Jingwanhong group.It could also lower the mice earcapillary vessel permeability,inhibit or eradicate the colon bacillus,Staphylococcus aureus,cyanomycosis,Sonne dysetery,typhoid bacillus,and decrease the mortality rate of mice intraperitoneal injected by pneumococcus.Conclusion Sanxiaoyuchuang ointment has good antiinflammatory and bacteriostasis(in vivo and in vitro) pharmacodynamics effects.

Objective To summarise the experience of surgical treatment of invasive pulmonary fungal infection in patients with hematologic malignancies.Methods From Jan.2000 to Dec.2012,78 hematologic patients with invasive pulmonary fungal infections,including 49 males and 29 females with average age of 29.6 years,underwent surgical treatment.Preoperatively,all patients with 1 to 3 courses of chemotherapy had received average 4 weeks antifungal treatment.There were 58 cases received conventional open thoracic surgery and 20 cases received VATS including lobectomy,segmentectomy,wedgectomy.Results The procedures were successful,the average operation time w as(125.3 ± 35.7) min and intraoperative blood loss was(253.1 ± 42.8) nl.There were no severe postoperative complications.The main complications were excessive effusion (10.2％) and persistence airleak (7.7％).The hospital days was(7.8 ± 2.5) days,no reoperation and death case in 30 days after operation.The follow-up was from 6 to 24 months,38 cases(48.7％) received prophylaetic antifungal treatment,no ease with fungi spread and recurrence.Conclusion The surgical treatment is safe and useful for the hematologic patients with invasive pulmonary fungal infections,when internal medicine conservative treatment is invalid.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of MRI in evaluating the cardiac structures and function of congenital heart diseases.Methods Fifteen cases with surgically proved different types of CHD were examined by the techniques of magnetic resonance imaging ( MRI) and echocardiography (ECG).The results were compared to determine their values in showing the abnormalities of cardiac structures and function.Results In 15 cases,20 malformations were diagnosed correctly by MRI within 24 abnormalities confirmed by operation(20/24),21 by ECG (21/24).MRI was better than ECG in displaying great vascular diseases, while ECG was better in valvular diseases.There was no significant difference between MRI and ECG in examining cardiac function.Conclusion MRI can clearly show the abnormalities of cardiac anatomy and function.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of 3D DCE MRA(three dimensional dynamic contrast-enhanced MR angiography)in patients of preoperation of liver transplantion.Methods 8 cases of potential liver transplant recipients suffering from severe liver disease underwent MRI and 3D DCE MRA, accessed the images synthetically. All of them had DUS examination, 4 cases received liver transplantation successfully.Results Satisfactory angiography images were obtained in all cases, the grade Ⅱ～Ⅲ branches of the hepatic artery, the grade Ⅱ～Ⅴ branches of the portal vein and gradeⅡ branches of the hepatic vein could clearly be visualized. Gastric-oesophageal varices were found in 3 cases of cirrhosis, compression and displacment of hepatic artery and portal vein were shown in one case of polycystic liver.Conclusion 3D DCE MRA is an efficiency, noninvasive technique, it offers great help in evaluating pre-operative vasculature of liver transplantation.

Objective To evaluate and analyze the diagnostic accuracy of 256-slice computed topographic angiog-raphy (CTA) and coronary angiography (CAG) in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods One hundred and one patients (suspected CAD and confirmed CAD with re-examination) underwent the 256-slice CTA and CAG were includ-ed in this study. The coronary artery imaging data of 101 patients were retrospectively collected and analyzed. Calculations for accuracy were conducted on a segmental basis. A total of 1 313 comparable segments were evaluated. The accuracy of 256-slice CTA was evaluated in the diagnosis of moderate and severe stenosis of coronary artery(stenosis in segments of cor-onary artery≥50%). The values for diagnostic accuracy of 256-slice CTA were analyzed, including mild stenosis: ＜50%, moderate stenosis:50%~75%, severe stenosis:76%~100%and complete occlusion. Results The sensitivity of 256-slice CTA for diagnostic accuracy to coronary heart disease was 94.87%, and the specificity was 52.17%. The positive predictive value was 87.06%and the negative predictive value was 75.00%. The accuracy rates of 256-slice CTA for evaluating the cor-onary artery stenosis were:mild stenosis (44.23%), moderate stenosis (44.23%), severe stenosis (40.00%) and total occlusion of coronary artery (51.77%), respectively. Conclusion The diagnostic value of 256-slice CTA for the degree of coronary ar-tery stenosis is insufficient, which can be used as a potential alternative screening examination to detect coronary artery ste-nosis in suspected patients and a method of re-examination in low risk patients with CAD.

Objective To explore the significance of mediastinum drainage tube in prevention and treatment of intrathoracic anastomotic leak after esophagectomy. Methods The morbidity and prognosis of intrathoracic anas-tomotic leak after esophagectomy in 180 patients with esophageal or cardia carcinoma (group A) who used mediasti-num drainage tube in operation from 2006 to 2008 was studied retrospectively,and were compare with 154 patients (group B) without mediastinum drainage tube from 2004 to 2006. Results The morbidity of intrathoracic anasto-motic leak after esophagectomy was 1.67% (3/180) in group A,and 4.55% (7/154) in group B,but no difference between them(χ2=1.4807, P>0.05) were found. Compared to group B, the final diagnosis of anastomotic leak in group A was early [(6.7±0.6) vs (10.0±2.1) days after operation (t=2.62, P<0.05)] and the duration of fe-ver was short [(5.3±1.5)vs (43.0±20.9) hours (t=4.39, P<0.01)]. The prognosis of 3 cases in group A was well, who all recovered without operation and had shorten hospital days than group B [(23.7±5.9)d vs (45.3± 5.0)d,t=4.86,P<0.01)]. In 7 cases of group B,there were 5 cases underwent second operation,but only 3 cases recovered, the case fatality rate was 2.60% (4/154), higher than in group A (0, Fisher, P<0.05). Conclusions Although the mediastinum drainage tube used or not used in esophagectomy is unrelated with the occurrence of anas-tomotic leak, and the significance to use it is that it can help to discover anastomotic leak early, and control mediasti-num infection effectively without reoperation,and improve patients' prognosis.

Objective:To observe the expression of B7-H4 in experimental autoimmune myocarditis (EAM).Methods:BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 2 groups:the control group and the experimental group.The mice of experimental group were injected with myosin to establish EAM models , while the mice of control group were injected with complete Freund 's adjuvant and normal saline.All the mice were killed separately at the 14th,21st,30th and 45th day for lymphocyte proliferation assay ,hematoxylin-eosin staining,immunohistochemical staining and real-time PCR.Results:The inflammation infiltration of heart was most serious at the 14th and 21st day,then it was gradually relieved with time;the results of lymphocyte proliferation assay and real-time PCR were similar to that of the inflammation infiltration of heart ,which were in high level at the 14th and 21st day,and they were both higher than that of the control group ( P<0.05 );B7-H4 protein were only detected in the experimental group ,and it was constantly expressed during the whole experiment on the endothelium of heart with myocarditis.Conclusion:B7-H4 participates in the progress of EAM ,and it may be a new way of studying the mechanism of myocarditis.

Objective To develop a model that could copy the pathological development of psoriasis, the triple-transgenic mice that harboring Plasminogen activator, urokinase ( PLAU) ,PLAU receptor ( PLAUR) and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 ( STAT3 ) were generated.They are the important genes involved in the pathological development of psoriasis.Methods The transgenic plasmid was constructed by insertion of the PLAU, PLAUR and STAT3 into the downstream bovine keratin 5 promoter respectively.The transgenic mouse was produced by microinjection and the genotyping was detected by PCR.The expression level of the transgenic gene was determined by Western blotting.The pathological changes were observed by HE staining.Results One mouse line was selected with over expression of the PLAU, PLAUR and STAT3 in the tissue of skin.The transgenic mice showed decreased dermal layer, a hyperkeratinized cuticular layer and increased stratum spinosum.The number of hair follicle was reduced and developed abnormally in the transgenic mice.The Munro abscess in the dermal layer and the increased inflammatory cell infiltrates in dermal layer were also observed in the transgenic mice.Conclusions A transgenic mouse line was produced and passage stably, which expressed the PLAU, PLAUR and STAT3 in the tissue of skin and developed the psoriasis progressively.All of our results suggested that the transgenic mice were a useful animal model for psoriasis.

Objective To compare the proteome difference between multiple myeloma cell line U266 cells treated and untreated with PS-341, to investigate the potential drug targets, and to provide theoretical evidence for clinical therapy of multiple myeloma. Methods Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE) was performed to separate proteins from treated and untreated U266 cells with proteasome inhibitor PS-341. ImageMaster 2D Platinum software was used to analyze 2-DE image, and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) was used to identify the differentially expressed proteins. The expression levels of differential protein BAG-2 in the 2 groups of U266 cells lines were detected by Western blot. Results The 2-DE reference pattern of treated and untreated U266 cells with PS-341 was established. A total of 31 differential proteins were identified by MALDI-TOF-MS, 27 of which were down-regulated after PS-341 treatment. The differential expression level of BAG-2 in the 2 groups of U266 cells was confirmed by Western blot. Conclusion Some down-regulated proteins may be the potential drug targets of proteasome inhibitor PS-341.
