Objective To verify the performance of Hitachi 7600 automatic biochemical analyzer .Methods According to labora‐tory accreditation criteria and the performance verification documents of American CLIA′88 ,the precision ,accuracy ,reference inter‐val ,linear range and clinical reportable range were verified for the tests of 19 conventional biochemical indicators performed on Hita‐chi 7600 biochemical analyzer most often .Results The precision ,accuracy ,reference interval ,linear range and clinical reportable range were all acceptable .Conclusion Hitachi 7600 automatic biochemical analyzer could fully meet the reqirements in clinical ap‐plication .

Objective To investigate the myocardial protective effect of adenosine preconditioning against ischemia-reperfusion injury in patients who were undergone valve replacement during cardiac pulmonary bypass.Methods 42 patients scheduling for valve replacement operation were divided randomly into two groups:experiment group(n=23) and control group(n=19).Adenosine preconditioning were performed in experiment group before cardiac pulmonary bypass.To estimate the plasma level of cardiotroponin I (cTnI),creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB ),radialis arterial blood was drown at following time points respectively: before operation,30 minutes before and after aortic clamp,1 hour and 3 hours after aortic opened.Meanwhile the rate of heart spontaneous rebeating,defibrillation,arrhythmia and cardiac inotropic agents used and its duration were recorded.Results The elevated range of plasm cTnI and CK-MB in experiment group were obviously lower than that in control group.In experiment group,the rate of heart spontaneous rebeating were higher,but the frequency of defibrillation,arrhythmia and the cardiac inotropic agents used and its duration were lower than those of control group.Conclusion Adenosine preconditioning has notable clinical protective effects on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in patients undergone valve replacement during cardiac pulmonary bypass.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the root diameter of Angelica sinensis and its early bolting rate, and to decrease the bolting rate. Methods The seedling transplanting of A. sinensis with various root diameters was used to study the bolting rate and yield. Results Bolting plants can be observed in the field at June and the period from June to July is the bolting heyday. The bolting rate was the highest, up to 94.65%, in the treatment of root diameter ≥ 0.86 cm. However, it was only 1.63% in the treatment of root diameter ≤ 0.35 cm on Oct. 2nd. In the treatment of root diameter ≤ 0.35 cm, the seedling rate was only 33.62%, while in the treatment of root diameter ≥ 0.86 cm, the seedling rate was the highest, up to 95.75%, but the harvest seedling number was only 6 395 plant/hm2. In the treatment of root diameter of 0.46—0.55 cm, the harvest seedling number was 68 398 plant/hm2, which was significantly higher than other treatments. The highest yield appeared in the treatment of root diameter in 0.46—0.55 cm of transplanting seedling, the fresh and dry yields of A. sinensis were 5 717.58 kg/hm2 and 1 554.98 kg/hm2, respectively. Conclusion The seedlings with root diameter in the range of 0.46—0.65 cm should be selected to transplant in practice.

Objective To understand the cue-induced craving, physiological reactions to heroin-related cues, and to explore the factors that impact the cue-induced craving. Methods 369 abstinent heroin addicts were exposed to videotapes of heroin using and simulacrum after the self relaxation. The craving, abstinent symp-toms were measured before and after cue exposures. The physiological reactions were measured by multi-biofeed-back instrument before, during, and after cue exposure. BIS-Ⅱ questionnaire was used to collect information about their impulsive characteristic. Results After cue exposure, the self-reports scores of craving (t=11.24, P< 0.01), physiological index including heart rate((76.6±11.3) beats/min, F=19.23), skin conduct ((7.48± 4.25)μs, F=53.99), pupil size (t=11.73) had significant change in heroin addicts (P<0.01). Logistic regres-sion results showed that the scores of BIS-Ⅱ were related to cue-reduced craving (P=0.001,95% CI: 1.015～1. 065). Conclusions Exposure to drug-related cues can induces craving and physiological reactions in long term abstinence heroin addicts. High impulsive characteristic is a risk factor to induce drug-related craving. The inter-vention strategies should consider the impulsive characteristic and make a comprehensive intervention program to prevent relapse.

Objective To evaluate the effect of ulinastatin on the expression of aquaporin-4 (AQP4) during focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) in rats.Methods One hundred and thirty-five male adult SpragueDawley rats,weighing 230-280 g,were randomly divided into 3 groups (n =45 each):sham operation group (S group),I/R group and ulinastatin group (group U).The rats were anesthetized with intraperitoneal 10％ chloral hydrate 3.5 ml/kg.Focal cerebral ischemia was induced by 2 h middle cerebral artery occlusion followed by 24 repeffusion.In U group,ulinastatin 100000 U/kg was injected immediately after beginning of reperfusion,while the equal volume of normal saline was injected in S and I/R groups.The rats were sacrificed at 6,24 and 48 h of repeffusion and brains were removed for determination of infract volume (by TTC),brain water content and expression of AQP4 (by immunohistochemistry) in brain tissues.Results Compared with S group,the infarct volume and brain water content were significantly increased,and the expression of AQP4 was up-regulated at each time point in I/R and U groups (P ＜ 0.05).Compared with I/R group,the infarct volume and brain water content were significantly decreased,and the expression of AQP4 was down-regulated at each time point in U group (P ＜0.05).Conclusion The mechanism by which ulinastatin mitigates focal cerebral I/R injury is related to down-regulation of AQP4 expression in brain tissues.

Objective: To study the effects of rapid eye movement sleep (REMS) deprivation on active behavior and the expression of mRNA coding for inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) of hypothalamus in rats. Methods: The flower pot technique was adopted to deprive the REMS of Sprague Dawley rats for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h respectively. The active behavior of rats were examined by the open field test (OFT). The expression of mRNA coding for iNOS of hypothalamus in rats was assayed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT PCR). Results: The OFT scores were significantly increased in rats subjected to 24 h and 48 h REMS deprivation ( P 0.05). There was no difference in the expression of iNOS mRNA among 24 h, 48 h REMS deprivation and the control groups, but the expression was significantly increased in 72 h REMS deprivation group ( P

Clinical tutor system is a unique exploration and practice with characteristics of our school,which has been carried out in the process of clinical course learning and clinical practice among eight-year-program clinical majors.Through analyzing and summarizing the implementation among 2005 and 2006 grade students,we found that the clinical tutor played an active role in cultivating students' clinical thoughts and personal ethics and in improving clinical ability and scientific ability.However,some problem were existed in tutors themselves-specialized major,busy,unclear cultivation objective,etc.Therefore,further improvement of the system was needed in order to better meet the needs of the eight-year-program medical talent training and to provide related references.

Objective To construct the RNAi eukaryotic vector of inhibitory member of the ASPP family(iASPP) gene and observe the interfering effect in Jurkat cell line after the vector transfection.Methods The specific siRNA sequence was designed according to the iASPP sequence in GenBank.The sequence was cloned into PGCsilencer~(TM) H1/Neo/GFP and then sequence analysis was performed.The recombinant plasmid was transfected into Jurkat cell by liposome.The iASPP expression was analyzed by RT-PCR and cell apoptosis was detected by FCM.Results The sequence of templet and specific siRNA was correct by sequence analysis.The iASPP expression in Jurkat cells decreased and the apoptosis rate increased from 11.81% to 33.15% after RNAi transfection.Conclusion The RNAi eukaryotic vector PGCsilencer~(TM)H1/Neo/GFP/RNAi was constructed successfully.The RNAi inhibitory effect on the Jurkat cells is confirmed.The successful construction of iASPP RNAi makes it possible to further study the interaction between iASPP and p53.
