1.Analysis on prognostic factors of acute myeloid leukemia
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2015;24(2):105-110
Objective To investigate the correlated factors of prognosis for acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Methods A retrospective analysis of initial 182 patients with AML was performed to assess the relationship between prognostic factors including sex, age, white cell count at diagnosis,immunophenotype,cytogenetics,allo-HSCT and complete remission (CR) after one-course of induction and overall survival (OS) or event free survival (EFS).Results The median age of 182 patients was 49 (14-80) years old,and the median follow up was 9.7 (0.5-75.5) months. There were 107 patients achieved CR after one-course of induction (total response rate was 65.9 %,120/182),age≥60 years.CD64 negative, unfavorable cyto-genetics and failing to achieve CR after one-course of induction were associated with lower total CR rate.Univariate analysis results demonstrated that age ≥60 years, unfavorable cytogenetics,CD11b expression and failing to achieve CR after one-course of induction had poor influence on 3-years OS and EFS,while the 3-years OS and EFS for patients with CD19 expression,CD64 expression and allo-HSCT were better than that of the patients with negative CD19 and CD64.Multivariate analysis suggested that age,cytogenetics,CD11b,CD64,allo-HSCT and CR after one-course of induction were independent prognostic factors for OS,while cytogenetics,CD64,allo-HSCT and CR after one-course of induction were important on EFS.Conclusions Prognostic analysis depending on AML corelation factors is benifit to individual therapy and can be applied to improve the survival.

Adjuvant therapy of breast cancer in the child-bearing period tends to affect ovarian function of patients.Adjuvant chemotherapy has a great damage for ovarian function, and tamoxifen's extent of the damage is not yet clear, but gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) has a protective effect on ovarian function. In the adjuvant therapy, synthetic weigh the pros and cons, make the best individualized programs,is the future direction of the treatment of breast cancer.
3.Impact of orotracheal intubation by Macintosh laryngoscopy versus Shikani optical stylet on blood pressure and heart rate
The Journal of Practical Medicine 2015;31(23):3864-3866
Objective To compare the hemodynamic response to orotracheal intubation by Macintosh laryngoscopy (MAC) with Shikani optical stylet (SOS). Methods Forty neurosurgical patients, ASA physical status Ⅰ~Ⅲ, were prospectively randomized to MAC group (n = 20) and SOS group (n = 20) according to the method of orotracheal intubation. Heart rate (HR) and invasive systolic blood pressure (SBP) were recorded at pre- and post-intubation. Results The intubation time was significantly longer in SOS group than in MAC group [(22 ± 8) s vs. (17 ± 8) s, P < 0.05]. SBP in both groups decreased significantly after induction (P < 0.05) and increased greatly at 1 and 2 min post-intubation (P < 0.05), but did not differ at 3, 4 and 5 min. HR in both groups did not differ significantly between the SBP after induction. HR in both groups increased greatly at 1 and 2 min post-intubation (P < 0.05), but did not differ markedly at 3, 4 and 5 min after induction. There were no significant differences in the peak SBP and HR between the two groups. Conclusion MAC and SOS cause similar hemodynamic responses to orotracheal intubation.

Chinese Herbal Medicines 2011;03(1):17-22
The current official quality control approaches meet the challenges from the complexity of herbal medicines. In fact, any herbal medicines containing numerous unknown components, its curative effect usually depends on the whole of herbal medicines,so it is impossible and unnecessary to qualitatively and quantitatively study every component.By investigating the limitations of current quality control approaches for herbal medicines and the difference and similarity in the chemical substantial style as well as quality control pattern of herbal medicines,a new quality control approach for Chinese herbal medicines should be explored and designed. The combination approach of chemical analysis with bioassay is promising to be developed and employed in order to ensure the safety and efficacy of Chinese herbal medicines.

Objective To discuss effects of Wugong Baidu Drink on expressions of Bcl-2, NF-κB mRNA genes related to the apoptosis of HaCaT in psoriasis. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into 6 groups:blank group, Western medicine control group, TCM control group, and Wugong Baidu Drink high, medium, and low dose groups. They were given normal saline, methotrexate suspension, compound natural indigo capsule suspension, and the different doses of Wugong Baidu Drink for gavage, respectively. Drug-containing serum of each group was prepared, and was put in the HaCaT respectively to subculture. The intervention effect of different Drug-containing serums on expressions of objective genes were detected through PR-PCR method. Results Drug-containing serum of each group could decrease the expressions of Bcl-2 mRNA and NF-κB mRNA. The most obvious effects were shown in the groups of Western medicine control group and Wugong Baidu Drink high dose group. All Wugong Baidu Drink groups showed a dose-response relationship. Conclusion Wugong Baidu Drink probably can promote the apoptosis of HaCaT by reducing the gene expressions of Bcl-2 and NF-κB. It can also decrease immune response by regulating serum factors related to T cells to play the role of anti-psoriasis.
