OBJECTIVE To explore the best method of cleaning and sterilization of laparoscopic apparatus.METHODS Laparoscopic apparatus useed in the hospital was divided into four groups at random:with artificial cleaning and sterilization by ethylene oxide(EO),with machine-cleaning and sterilization by EO,with artificial cleaning by hydrogen peroxide plasma, and with machine-cleaning and sterilization by hydrogen peroxide plasma. And The sterilization effect of four groups was observed.RESULTS The positive cleaning result of manual with ultrasonic cleaning was 97.5%,but with autowash cleaner was 73.3%.The rate of qualification of artificial-groups was higher than machine groups obviously(P

A new type of fluorescent gold nanoclusters (MU-Au NCs) was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method using ammonium benzoate murexide (MU) as reducing agent and protecting agent. The synthesis method was simple and rapid.Based on the fluorescence quenching ability of spermine, a turn off type fluorescence analysis method was established for rapid and ultra sensitive detection of spermine. The linear range for detection of spermine was 0.003-300 μmol/L and the detection limit was 1 nmol/L (S/N=3).The established analytical method of spermine provided theoretical basis and reference for construction of spermine biosensor and actual sample detection.

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics and prognosis of pregnant women with hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS).Methods:A total of 11 pregnant women with HFRS admitted to The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi′an Jiaotong University (four cases), The Second Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University (four cases), The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi′an Jiaotong University (one case) and Central Hospital of Xianyang City (two cases) between November 2009 and February 2019 were included as the study group, and 24 age-matched non-pregnant women with HFRS were selected as the control group. The age, complications, clinical classification and laboratory indexes of the two groups were analyzed retrospectively, and the clinical outcomes of pregnant women and their fetuses in the study group were followed up. The data between two groups were compared using Mann-Whitney U test or chi-square test. Results:Patients in the study and control groups were 29 (22, 33) and 32 (24, 37) years old, respectively. Seven of 11 patients in study group were severe and critical cases, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (16.7%(4/24), χ2=7.722, P=0.015). In the study group, 10 patients had hypervolemic syndrome, 10 patients had pulmonary edema and six patients had overlapping hypotension shock phase and oliguria phase, which were all higher than those in the control group ((2/24, 8.3%), (2/24, 8.3%) and (2/24, 8.3%), respectively; χ2=22.828, 22.828 and 9.135, respectively, all P<0.01). Compared with the control group, the pregnant patients in study group had a higher urea nitrogen maximum and serum creatinine maximum, and the differences were both statistically significant ( Z=-2.453 and -2.336, respectively, both P<0.05), while they had a lower serum albumin minimum, hemoglobin maximum and hemoglobin minimum, and the differences were all statistically significant ( Z=-3.742, -3.350 and -4.034, respectively, all P<0.01). All pregnant women with HFRS recovered. Nine pregnant women gave birth to nine healthy infants. All of them received breastfeeding and the feeding duration were more than six months. No abnormal growth and development were found during an average follow-up of three years. Conclusions:Pregnancy can aggravate the severity of HFRS, and pregnant women have higher risk of the multiple stages overlap and the complications such as hypervolemic syndrome and acute pulmonary edema. After recovery from HFRS, mother may carry to full-term pregnancy.

Objective:
To study the best time of early feeding in patients with acute oral organophosphorus pesticide poisoning.
Methods:
A prospective study was conducted on 123 patients with acute oral organophosphorus poisoning admitted from January 2018 to May 2019 in Department of Emergency, the Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University. The patients were divided into four groups, A(<6 h), B(≥6 h-<12 h), C(≥12 h-<24 h) and D(≥24 h), according to the time of poisoning at the time of admission. All the patients in the four groups were fed immediately upon admission with the same method. The cholinesterase activity at 24, 48, 72, 120 h after poisoning, the incidence of rebound after poisoning, the disappearance time of clinical poisoning symptoms were compared among the four groups.
Results:
Compared with the other three groups, group A had a statistically significant difference in the cholinesterase activity at 24, 48, 72, 120 h after poisoning (

Objective:To establish the reference for serum metabolomics profiles among healthy Han adults in China, and explore the variation on metabolomics profiles by geographic regions, sex, and age.Methods:Cross-sectional data and serum samples were obtained from the China National Health Survey. A total of 1 039 male and 1 032 female healthy adults(≥30 years) were included in this study. Serum metabolomics analyses were conducted with ultra-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS). Orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA) was performed to compare the differences of metabolomics among different region, sex, and age. Results:Significant differences on metabolomics profiles were identified among region, sex, and age. A total of 114 region-related metabolites were spotted, including 53 metabolites that involved in human metabolic pathways, mainly peptides(20 metabolites) and glycerophospholipid metabolism-related(14 metabolites). Fifty-nine metabolites were pinned down to be sex-related, among which cotinine was significant in all 7 provinces. Age-related metabolites were only found in Shaanxi and Hainan, with 22 metabolites were recognized. Conclusion:Serum metabolomics varies by geographic regions, sex, and age. When metabolomics is applied for diagnosis or biomarker screening in various studies, it shall take into consideration of setting tailored references.
