Ursolic acid, a pentacyclic triterpene compound, naturally occurs in a large variety of plants, has at-tracted considerable interest owing to its significant biological activities. In recent years, more and more scientists have been working on the structural modification at the C-3 position , C_(12)-C_(13) double bond or C-28 position of ur-solic acid in order to improve their biological activities. Herein a brief introduction of the recent progresses on the chemical structural modification and the structure-activity relationship of ursolic acid and its derivatives are re-viewed.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction by getting tendon palmaris longus for treating acromioclavicular joint dislocation under arthroscopically assisted Endobutton steel plate fixation. Methods Eighteen patients with acute closed acromioclavicular joint dislocation treated in this hospital from January 2013 to March 2015 were selected and treated by coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction by getting tendon palmaris longus and double Endobutton steel plate fixation under arthroscopy. The visual analogue scale(VAS) was adopted before and after operation. The Karlsson treatment effect score was adopted at the end of follow up period. The patients satisfaction was investigated. Results The wounds in 18 cases were stage Ⅰ first grade healing and the reduction of acromioclavicular joint dislocation was good. The postoperative VAS score was(0.56±0.62) points, which was significantly decreased compared with(2.44± 1.20) points before operation(t=5.945,P<0.01).During the follow-up visit,1 case appeared dislocation recurrence and treated by adopting clavicle hook plate fixation;average follow up time was 17.72 months, the Karlsson score at the end stage was excellent in 12 cases, good in 5 cases and poor in 1 case, the excellent and good rate was 94.44 %,the patient satisfaction degree was 88.89 %.Conclusion Arthroscopically assisted Endobutton steel plate fixation combined with ligament reconstruction by tendon palmaris longus for treating acromioclavicular joint dislocation has small trauma and reliable fixation, and promotes the joint function recovery.

Objective To investigate the effects of quality control circle ( QCC ) on improvement of catheter nursing quality in patients with hemodialysis. Methods A total of 60 patients were recruited in the Department of Nephrology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University. Patients were randomly allocated into QCC group (n=30) and control group (n=30). The QCC activities were carried out in the QCC group without control group. It had been compared the questionnaire of patients′satisfaction, usage of catheter external fixed bag, nursing staff ability and common complications of external fistula. Results The satisfaction rate of the patients in the QCC group were higher than that of the control group (P<0. 01). The usage rate of catheter external fixed bags in QCC group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0. 05). The incidence of the common complications in QCC group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0. 05). The nursing ability of the nurses in QCC group was significantly better compared with control group ( P < 0. 01 ). Conclusions The application of QCC on catheter nursing in patients with hemodialysis can significantly increase the satisfaction rate of the patients and the nursing ability of nurses, meanwhile, decrease the incidence of the common complications. Therefore, it is worthy for further clinical application.

Objective To investigate the effect of a nurse-training program of theory combined with practice training methods on pressure ulcer .Methods Forty-two nurse trainees were selected from different departments where the pressure sore was most likely to occur .A two-month training program was conducted based on multimedia, skill training, on-site training, patient rounds, typical case studies, mannequin, and problem analysis .Theoretical examinations were conducted both before and after the program and the skill tests were conducted by the way of on-site intervention .Results Among the forty-two nurses , the mean scores of theoretical examination before and after training were (88.52 ±2.31) and (97.16 ±3.20), respectively, and the difference was significant (t=-14.193,P<0.01).The mean scores of skill test before and after training were (86.19 ±4.68) and (93.35 ±2.41), respectively, and the difference was significant (t=-8.814, P<0.01).The forty-two nurse trainees all passed the tests .Conclusions The training program which combined with theory and practice skills can improve the knowledge and skills of the nurses .It can be served as a model for future training on pressure ulcer treatment by other general hospitals .
