[Objective] Introduce 1 case of adult onset stil ’s disease cured by Chinese traditional medicine plus acupuncture therapy.[Methods] With TCM treatment we started from relieving shaoyang disorder, clearing heat and expel ing superficial evils, differentiated the case Shaoyang syndrome, then made a prescription of Xiao Chai-hu Tang and Qing-hao Bie-jia Tang to balance qi movement ,clear heat and expel dampness;with acupuncture treatment we discharged heat and expel ed wind at acute phase, supplemented the center and boosted the energy at stable phase. With the combined therapy that reached a total function of expel ing damp and regulating qi movement. [Results] The patient ’s symptoms relieved and discharged, fol owed the case 2 months without recurrence. [Conclusion] Chinese traditional medicine plus acupuncture therapy can cure adult onset stil ’s disease effectively, it is worth clinical application.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(11):-
Objective: 1)To revise the Social Skills Scale (SSS) and examine its psychometric properties.2) To explore the relationship between SSS and mental health. Methods:1)A sample of 394 freshmen completed the Social Skills Scale, SCL-90, and Self Consistency and Congruence Scale. Exploratory factor analysis, item analysis, reliability and validity analysis were used to revise the Social Skills Scale. 2) The relations between the SSS , SCL-90 and Self Consistency and Congruence Scale were examined. Results:Using exploring factor analysis, 5 factors were extracted, i.e. social adaptation, social perception, social confidence, social expression, and impression management. The mean inter-item correlation coefficients ranged from 0.52 to 0.77. The correlation coefficients of item and corresponding subscale ranged from 0.52 to 0.77, and the item discrimination indexes ranged from 0.32 to 0.52. Social adaptation, social perception and impression management were positively correlated with mental health. Social confidence was negatively correlated with mental health. Social expression did not correlation with mental health. Conclusion:The revised Social Skills scale was an reliable and valid measurement.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 2022;39(11):895-900
Objective:To analyze characteristics and trend of publications in digestive endoscopy quality control from 2010 to 2021.Methods:The literature on digestive endoscopy quality control from 2010 to 2021 were searched through the Web of Science core collection with the method of bibliometrics. The year of publication, journal name, country, main researchers, institutions and citations were analyzed by Web of Science. Then, the downloaded data were imported into VOSviewer for co-occurrence network analysis of the country, keywords and citations. Results:A total of 3 283 English papers on digestive endoscopy quality control were included. The number of papers from China and other countries showed an upward trend, and citations as well from 2010 to 2021. The publications were mainly from the United States (1 209, 36.8%), the United Kingdom (325, 9.9%), and China (324, 9.9%). The journal with the largest number of publications in this category was Gastrointest Endosc (241, 7.3%). The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs had 175 publications, ranking the first among all institutions. Research topics were focused on colonoscopy, adenoma detection rate, and artificial intelligence. Conclusion:The research in digestive endoscopy quality control is booming, and the research activity is gradually increasing. Chinese academic influence in this field still needs to be further improved.

Trillions of microbes reside in the human body and participate in multiple physiological and pathophysiological processes that affect host health throughout the life cycle. The microbiome is hallmarked by distinctive compositional and functional features across different life periods. Accumulating evidence has shown that microbes residing in the human body may play fundamental roles in infant development and the maturation of the immune system. Gut microbes are thought to be essential for the facilitation of infantile and childhood development and immunity by assisting in breaking down food substances to liberate nutrients, protecting against pathogens, stimulating or modulating the immune system, and exerting control over the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis. This review aims to summarize the current understanding of the colonization and development of the gut microbiota in early life, highlighting the recent findings regarding the role of intestinal microbes in pediatric diseases. Furthermore, we also discuss the microbiota-mediated therapeutics that can reconfigure bacterial communities to treat dysbiosis.
