Objective To clarify the significance of RNF180 expression in carcinogenesis and progression of prostate cancer by detection of RNF180 promoter methylation. Methods RNF180 expression was detected in human prostate cancer cell lines(PC3,LNCap,and DU145)and normal prostate cells(RWPE?1)via Western blotting,RT?PCR,methylation?specific PCR(MSP),bisulfite?sequeneing PCR(BSP),respectively, while RNF180 expression in human prostate cancer tissues and paired adjacent non?tumor tissue was detected via immunohistochemistry. Results The expressions of RNF180 mRNA and protein in prostate cancer cells were significantly lower than those in normal prostate cells(P<0.05),op?posite to what was observed for the methylation level of the RNF180 promoter. Additionally, the RNF180 expression in prostate cancer tissue was significantly lower than that in paired adjacent non?tumor tissue. Conclusion The RNF180 promoter is incompletely methylated in prostate can?cer cells, which may be a reason for the decline or silencing of RNF180 expression in cancer cells and tissues.

Objective To investigate the mechanism and cause of the inactivation of tumor suppressor gene RNF180 in prostate cancer cell line by observing the effect of 5-Aza-CdR on the RNF180 gene in prostate cancer cell line DU145. Methods MTT method was adopted to study the effect of 5-Aza-CdR(0,1,2,5,10,15 and 20μmoI/L)on the proliferation of prostate cancer cells. Western blotting,real-time PCR,and methyla-tion specific PCR(MSP)were separately used to detect the expression of RNF180 in prostate cancer cells before and after the treatment of the most suitable drug concentration(5μmoI/L). Results In a certain range, the effect of 5-Aza-CdR on the proliferation of prostate cancer cell line DU145 was increased with the increase of drug concentration and the time of drug treatment(P<0.05). After the treatment of the most suitable drug concentration, the protein and mRNA expression of RNF180 in prostate cancer cells was significantly increased(P<0.05),but the methyla-tion of the promoter region was obviously decreased. Conclusion 5-Aza-CdR can reverse the methylation status of RNF180 gene in DU145 pros-tate cancer cell line, and relieve the silencing status of RNF180gene expression.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the pain severity, the motor function of the upper limb and the quality of life in the patients of post-stroke shoulder pain treated with the touching-periosteum needling technique of the meridian muscle region theory.
METHODSOne hundred and six cases of post-stroke shoulder pain were randomized into an observation group and a control group, 53 cases in each one. In the observation group, the touching-periosteum needle technique and the rehabilitation training were used on the bases of the theory of meridian muscle region. The points were,,,, Quchi (LI 11), Shousanli (LI 10) and Waiguan (TE 5) on the affected side. The needles were inserted obliquely, at 45°degrees at those extra points to the tendon knots till the needle tips touching periosteum. The needles were manipulated to ensure thearrival and then retained for 30 min. The rehabilitation was applied, such as the anti-spasmodic posture, bridge-style movement on the bed, weight transition and balance training, joint activity maintenance training, passive and active movement of shoulder joint, the training for activities of daily living (ADL) and Bobath technique. In the control group, the routine acupuncture and the rehabilitation training were used. The acupints were Jianyu (LI 15), Binao (LI 14), Jianliao (TE 14), Jianqian (Extra), Quchi (LI 11), Shousanli (LI 10) and Waiguan (TE 5). The rehabilitation training was the same as the observation group. The treatment was given once every day, 6 treatments a week. After 20 treatments, the visual analogue scale (VAS), Fugl-Meyer (FMA) score and Barthel (MBI) score were adopted to evaluate the pain severity, the motor function of the upper limb and the ADL. The clinical therapeutic effects were evaluated in the two groups.
RESULTSThe VAS scores were reduced after treatment as compared with those before treatment in the two groups, and FMA and MBI scores were all increased as compared with those before treatment, indicating the significant difference statistically (<0.05,<0.01). After treatment, the improvements in the observation group were better than those in the control group (all<0.05). The curative and remarkably effective rate was 69.8% (37/53) in the observation group, better than 47.2% (25/53) in the control group (<0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe touching-periosteum needling technique of the meridian muscle region theory obviously improves the pain severity, the motor function of the upper limb and the quality of life in patients of post-stroke shoulder pain. The therapeutic effects are better than the routine acupuncture.

Neck dissection(ND)is one of the main treatment methods for oral and maxillofacial malignancies.Although ND type is in con-stant improvement, but intraoperative peal-pull-push injury of the accessory nerve, muscle, muscle membrane, fascia and ligament induced shoulder syndrome(SS)is still a common postoperative complication, combined with the influence of radiochemotherapy, not only can cause pain, stiffness, numbness, limited dysfunction of shoulder neck and arm,but also may have serious impact on patient's life quality and phys-ical and mental health. At present, there is still a lack of a systematic evaluation and rehabilitation management program for postoperative SS of oral and maxillofacial malignant tumors.Based on the previous clinical practice and the current available evidence, refer to the relevant lit-erature at home and abroad, the experts in the field of maxillofacial tumor surgery and rehabilitation were invited to discuss, modify and reach a consenusus on the etiology, assessment diagnosis, differential diagnosis, rehabilitation strategy and prevention of SS,in order to provide clinical reference.
