Aim To search the effective malaria mixed gene vaccine and to explore the immune response of vaccinated host. The recombinant pcDNA3-EBA175/HRP Ⅱ was injected alone or mixed with pcDNA3-Pfs25 of Plasmodium falciparum into mice by intramuscular route. The muscle of injected parts were treated previously, e.g. injecting 50μl of 0. 5%bupivacaine into the muscle of left latter leg, with 2mm depth. To observed the changes of IgG antibody value, the splenic lymphocyte proliferation, the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ subgroups and NK cell killing activity. After injecting recombinant pcDNA3-EBA175/HRP Ⅱ alone or mixed with pcDNA3-Pfs25 into mice by intramuscular route, it showed that sera IgG value increased, the splenic T lymphocyte proliferation stimulated by specific antigen of Plasmodium falciparum increased, the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ decreased and NK cell activity increased. Enhanced immune injection could improve host's immune reaction. It is suggested intramuscular injection is an effective immune route, and mice inoculated with coding two gene recombinant alone or that mixed with sexual stage gene recombinant could all induce increased humoral and cellular immune response, and NK cell activity.

Journal of Jilin University(Medicine Edition) 2014;(6):1285-1288
Objective To investigate the application of vascularized free fibula flaps in reconstruction of mandibular defect, and to evaluate the survival rate and repair effect of the method. Methods 16 patients with mandibular tumor, having a desire to reconstruct mandible, and their systemic state could tolerate the long time operation, were selected to reconstruct mandibular defect by vascularized fibula flaps,of which 12 were male,4 female, aged 24-66 years old, average 45.2 years old.The resection of primary tumor and free fibula flaps were simultaneously conducted, then the fibular flaps were shaped according to the defect location and size of the mandible, and were fixed with reconstructive titanium plate for repair and reconstruction of mandible. The survival of flaps was determined by skin color, texture, and skin temperature of the flaps. The reconstruction effects were evaluated through the patients’surface like photos and X-ray picture of mandible before and after operation. Results All of flaps were survived and no serious complications were found. The complications of the supplied sites were skin tension and wound dehiscence, which were healed by dressing. The mandibular reconstruction effects were good through 2 or more persons’double blind evaluation. Conclusion Free fibula flaps have high survival rate and good results in mandibular reconstruction, and they can meet the needs of various types of mandibular defect repair.

Tianjin Medical Journal 2015;(2):170-174
Objective To investigate the expression levels and clinical significance of (forkhead box Q1) FOXQ1 and E-cadherin in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Methods Expression levels of FOXQ1 and E-cadherin were in ESCC tissues (ESCC group, n=42) and adjacent normal esophageal tissues (control group, n=42) were detected using im?munohistochemistry. Correlations of FOXQ1 and E-cadherin expressions with clinical pathological parameters and progno?sis were analyzed between two groups. Results The expression level of FOXQ1 was significantly higher in ESCC group than that in control group(64.29% vs 28.57%,χ2=5.384,P<0.05). The expression level of E-cadherin was significantly lower in ESCC group than that incontrol group(52.38%vs 90.48%,χ2=7.691,P<0.05). There were significant differences in FOXQ1 expressions between different TNM stages and whether lymph node metastasis is involved within ESCC group. There were significant differences in expression of E-cadherin between different tumor differentiation, depth of invasion, TNM stage and whether lymph node metastasis is involved within ESCC group. The expression of FOXQ1 was negatively cor?related with E-cadherin in ESCC (r=-0.412, P<0.05). The 5-year survival rates were significantly lower with high expres?sion of FOXQ1 or with low expression of FOXQ1(18.52%vs 66.67%,χ2=9.737,P<0.05). The 5-year survival rates were significantly higher with high expression of E-cadherinor low expression of E-cadherin(59.09%vs 10.00%,χ2=10.996,P<0.05). A multivariate Cox's proportional hazard regression analysis indicated that high FOXQ1 expression, low E-cadherin expression and lymph node metastasis were independent prognostic factors for ESCC. Conclusion The expression of FOXQ1 and E-cadherin showed a good correlation with ESCC. And examining expressions of both FOXQ1 and E-cadherin in ESCC may have practical values in estimating the prognosis of ESCC and directing future treatment .
