Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects of intravenous gammaglobulin (IVIG) on septicemia in premature infants.Methods The level of sero-IgG was observed in 20 septicemic premature infants before and after IVIG treatment,compared with those of 20 cases without IVIG treatment as controls.Results After IVIG treatment,the level of sero-IgG was remarkably higher than those before IVIG treatment and controls.Conclusion It is suggested that IVIG is safe and effective for treatment of septicemia in premature infants.

Objective To investigate the effect of cinobufacin on P53,PTEN and HIF-1αin patients with advanced lung cancer.Methods 100 cases with advanced lung cancer were divided into two groups.control group(n=50) were treated with routine treatment, experiment group(n=50) on the base of the control group with 0.3 g cinobufacin,3 times per day oral.P53, PTEN, HIF-1α,tumor marker,survival rate and mortality were compared after the treatment.Results Compared with the control group,the serum levels of P53, HIF-1αexpression level was lower(P<0.05),PTEN expression level was higher (P<0.05),CEA,NSE,CYFRA21-1,CA125 were lower(P<0.05);the survival rate was higher, the mortality was lower(P<0.05). Conclusion Cinobufacin can regulate the advanced lung cancer patients serum P53, PTEN and HIF-1αlevels and reduce the tumor markers levels, improve the survival rate.It is of great importance for clinical treatment of advanced lung cancer.

BACKGROUND:According to the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, stimulating certain acupoints of the body after exercise may improve its antioxidant capacity, but different acupoints have different effects. OBJECTIVE:To compare the effect of different acupuncture combinations on the antioxidant capacity of myocardial and liver tissues in rats after exhausted swimming exercise, and screen out the optimal acupoint combination for exercise-induced fatigue. METHODS:Seventy Sprague-Dawley male rats were divided into five groups: control group (n=10), model group (n=15),Sanyinjiao +Zusanli group (n=15),Shenshu +Zusanli group (n=15),Dazhui+Zusanli group (n=15). Except the control group, rats in the other four groups were subject to exhausted swimming. In the three acupuncture groups, rats were given acupuncture at corresponding acupint combinations at 15 minutes after exercise. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the control group, the activities of superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase in the myocardial and liver tissues were significantly reduced in the model group, while the malonaldehyde content in cardiac muscle was significantly increased. Compared with the model group, the activities of superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase in the cardiac muscle were significantly increased inSanyinjiao +Zusanli group, the superoxide dismutase in liver tissue was significantly increased inShenshu+Zusanli group, the malonaldehyde content in the myocardial tissue was significantly decreased in Sanyinjiao +Zusanli group and Dazhui +Zusanligroup, the malonaldehyde content in the liver tissue was significantly decreased in Sanyinjiao +Zusanligroup. Different acupuncture combinations have different effects on the activities of superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase, as wel as the malonaldehyde content in the myocardial and liver tissues of fatigued rats. Acupunture could increase the antioxidant ability in cardiac muscle of rats and the best combination might beDazhui+Zusanli; acupoint combinations ofShenshu +Zusanli andSanyinjiao +Zusanli are specific for liver tissue.

Objective To explore the effect of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) on the development of collateral formation in stable angina patients with serious coronary artery disease.Methods The subjects were patients ( n =92) who underwent coronary angiography (CAG) and had chronic total occlusion (CTO) in one major coronary artery.They were divided into two groups,patients without collaterals (coil-,n =50) and patients with collaterals (coll +,n =42).EPCs were isolated from peripheral blood samples and cultured.The numbers of colony-forming units (CFUs) and the vasculargenesis capacity in vitro was assayed respectively.The plasma level of SDF-1α was determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.Results The number of colony-forming units ( CFUs ) [ ( 22.10 ± 4.69 ) CFUs/106 EPCs vs ( 16.90 ± 3.66) CFUs/106 EPCs ],vasculogenesis capacity in vitro (25.3 ± 3.2 vs 17.4 ± 2.6) and plasma level of SDF-1 α[ (243.7 ± 19.2 ) ng/ml vs ( 203.1 ± 17.8) ng/ml,P ＜ 0.01 ] in coll + group were higher than that of coll group.It had a positive correlation between the level of collateral circulation and the numbers of CFUs,vascular genesis activity of circulating EPCs and plasma level of SDF-1αt( r =0.74,0.69,0.82,0.81,0.64,P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusions The number of CFUs and vasculargenesis activity of EPC in coll + group with serious coronary artery disease is significantly higher than that in coll- group.These changes may be related to the increase of plasma SDF-1 α.The method improving the numbers and function of EPCs,increasing the activity of SDF-1 α may benefit the patients with coronary artery disease.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) for plasma cell mastitis. METHODS: Radiographs of MSCT for forty-six patients with plasma cell mastitis diagnosed by pathological examination were reviewed. RESULTS: The findings of MSCT of plasma cell mastitis could be divided into four types, including the inflammation type, the abscess type, the sinus and fistula type, and the mixed type, and each type had its radiographic characteristics. CONCLUSION: MSCT is helpful for diagnosing plasma cell mastitis and should be used as an examination of first choice for the patients.

Objective To investigate the predictive value of plasma lipoprotein associated phospholipase A 2 (Lp-PLA2 ) in cere-bral infarction(CI) after transient cerebral ischemia attack (TIA).Methods Plasma Lp-PLA2 level was detected in 112 TIA pa-tients ,and the incidence rate of CI was observed on 7 ,30 ,90 d after TIA.Then the grouping was performed according to the Lp-PLA2 level ,and the predictive value of Lp-PLA2 in the risk of CI occurrence after TIA was evaluated.Results Among 112 patients with TIA ,27 cases (24.1% ) developed CI within 90 d;there were 17 cases(63.0% ) of CI after TIA in the Lp-PLA2 >207 μg/L group ,which were significantly higher than that in the 175-207 μg/L group and <175 μg/L group (P<0.05);moreover the CI occurrence in TIA patients was mainly concentrated within 7 d after onset ;the patients of Lp-PLA2 ≥175μg/L were mainly distrib-uted in the moderate and high risk groups of ABCD2 score system ;in ROC curve of Lp-PLA2 for predicting CI after TIA ,with Lp-PLA2 ≥194 μg/L as the diagnostic critical point ,the sensitivity was 0.730 and specificity was 0.680.Conclusion Lp-PLA2 may be an effective risk predictive indicator of CI occurrence after TIA ,and can improve the adverse outcome of TIA patients.

Objective:To explore the abortion effect and mechanism induced by Chinese herbal medicine rhubarb extract.Methods:The pregnant mice at day 3 of gestation were Drenched by Aqueous extract of rhubarb at different doses (7,5,2.5 g/kg)once per day for five days,and mices in control group were oral administration of same volume of saline.All mices at 12 day of gestation were sacrificed.estradiol and progesterone levels in serum were detected by Radioimmunoassay;Content of IFN-γ, IL-2 and TNF-αin uterine lysates were measured by ELISA, macrophages in endometrium were determined by immunohistochemical method, mast cells in endometrium were tested by Toluidine blue staining, respectively.Results: showed as follows:With increasing dose of rhubarb extract,abortion rate and resorption rate were gradually increased and was 100%abortion in 7g/kg treatment groups.Estrogen and progesterone content showed a downward trend,IFN-γ,IL-2 and TNF-αin uterine lysates and the numbers of macrophages and mast cells were significantly higher in mices Drenched by Aqueous extract of rhubarb than in the control.Conclusion: These results show that rhubarb extract not only interfere stability of pregnancy state in pregnant mices because of its diarrhea,but also can directly affect endometrial environment in early embryonic mice,Resulting in abortion.

OBJECTIVE To explore the early intervention effect in autism spectrum disorders children with dysaudia. METHODS Three cases of child with language barrier were diagnosed with dysaudia by acoustic impedance test, distortion otoacoustic emission (DPOAE) and short sound auditory brainstem response test (ABR). They were diagnosed with autism pectrum disorders through further test. They were matched with hearing aid, and took speech rehabilitation training, followed-up one year to observe the language communication effect. RESULTS After one year of treatment with hearing aid, both CAP and SIR score increased. CONCLUSION Autism spectrum disorders children with dysaudia can get better language exchange by early intervention with hearing aid and speech rehabilitation training.

OBJECTIVE To study the effects of indwelling time of femoral vein catheter on bacterium colonization in patients with hemodialysis treatment,then to choose the optimal one from infection prevention viewpoint.METHODS The patients were divided randomly into three groups according to their catheter indwelling time(group A2 weeks)(20 patients in each group).Samples from skin and the tip of the catheter were cultured,and compared the colony number and strain distribution.RESULTS There was bacterium colonization on punctured skin and the tip of the catheter after using it for a long time.The longer it was,the higher the positive rate was.The positive rate of bacterium colonization in groups B,and C was 25% vs 100%(P

Objective:To systematically review the relationship between PTGER 4 genetic polymorphisms and the risk of inflam-matory bowel disease (IBD).Methods:All eligible case-control studies which published up to February 29,2016 were searched by PubMed,Embase,Web of Science.The studies in accordance with high quality were included in this study .We synthesized pooled odds ratio ( OR) and its 95%confidence interval ( CI) using STATA12.0.The sensitivity analysis was used to determine the stability of re-sults in meta-analysis.The Egger′s analysis was performed to evaluate the publication bias .Results:Twenty original publications invol-ving 44 case-control studies were included in this study ,in which 25179 patients with Crohn′s disease (CD),5261 patients with ulcer-ative colitis ( UC) and 44652 control subjects were detected .The allelic frequency ,additive model ,dominant model and recessive mod-el were used to analyze the association of rs 4613763 T/C polymorphism and CD ,and the pooled OR and 95%CI were as followings:1.24 (1.06-1.45),1.32 (1.06-1.64),1.25 (1.06-1.48),1.28 (1.03-1.59).For rs17234657T/G polymorphism and CD,the pooled OR (95%CI) of four genetic models were 1.35 (1.28-1.47),2.12 (1.70-2.63),1.46 (1.36-1.57) and 1.90 (1.54-2.35),re-spectively.For rs4495224A/C polymorphism and CD,the pooled OR(95%CI) were 1.05 (0.79-1.41),1.08 (0.62-1.88),1.12 (0.75-1.65) and 1.00 (0.67-1.49).And the pooled OR (95%CI) were 0.77 (0.67-0.88),0.59 (0.51-0.69),0.73 (0.61-0.87),0.68 (0.59-0.79) for rs9292777G/T polymorphism and CD.For rs1373692T/G polymorphism and CD,the pooled OR (95%CI) were 1.23 (0.96-1.57),1.39 (0.74-2.59),1.26 (0.74-2.13),1.31 (1.00-1.72).The pooled OR (95%CI) of allelic fre-quency , additive model , dominant model and recessive model for the association of rs 4613763 T/C polymorphism with UC were 1.30 (1.17-1.44 ), 1.73 ( 1.16-2.59 ), 1.32 ( 1.17-1.48 ), 1.64 ( 1.10-2.45 ), respectively.Conclusion: Polymorphisms of rs17234657T/G,rs4613763T/C and rs9292777G/T are associated with CD.Polymorphism of rs4613763T/C is associated with UC sus-ceptibility.
