[Objective]To study the relationship between ossification of ligamentum nuchae(LN) and degeneration of ligamentum flavon(LF) of cervical spondylotic myelopathy(CSM).[Method]Fifty-six cervical LF samples from CSM patient of C_(3~7) in relation to the stage of ossification of LN samples(experimental group,EG) and 38 samples of corresponding ligament from patient with cervical vertebral trauma(CVT)(control group,CG) were obtained.Thickness of LF was measured,their pathological change was examined by microscopy,content of collagen and kydrolyproline and the ratio of type Ⅰ/ type Ⅱ collagen were determined by Woessners method and setting Salting out method.The correlation among the thickness of degenerative LF,the ratio of type Ⅰ/ type Ⅱ collagen,the content of collagen and hydrokyproline,and arrangement disorder of LF in relation to the ossification stage of LN were analyzed.[Result]In EG,as compared with in CG,there showed a decrease of elastic fibre,decrease of ratio type Ⅰ/ type Ⅱ collagen due to significant increase of type Ⅱ collagen,increase collagen content and disorder arrangement of LF.In relation to the ossification of LN,above changes were more marked in LF of C_(4、5),C_(5、6),than that of C_(3、4),C_(6、7)(P

As targeted drugs to B-cell malignancies, anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies have been proved to be important in therapeutic antibody field. With three generations in more than ten years' development, the structures of these drugs have been improved, and many new indications have been found. Nowadays, these kinds of antibodies are not only used in the treatment of lymphoid malignancies, but also been proved to be useful in some autoimmune diseases treatment, and their new indications are still being expanded. With the optimization of their clinical dosage regimens, drug reaction has been increased, thus, therapeutic and side effects of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody have been further improved as well. However, the exact mechanism of action of their combination therapy with other chemical drugs is still unclear, which remains to be further studied. This article reviewed new development of anti-CD20 therapeutic monoclonal antibodies research in recent years.

BACKGROUND:Metabolic characteristics of the 800 meters race is not very clear, which creates a lot of obstacles for the exercise training of 800 meters race. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the characteristics of material and energy metabolism of 800 meters race, to improve the scientific training of the 800 meters race and to verify the feasibility of nuclear magnetic resonance-based urine metabonomics in sports training monitoring. METHODS: Seven middle distance athletes were subject to an 800 meters race at ultimate intensity, and their urine metabonomics analysis was conducted in combination with the Human Metabolism Database and other databases before and after exercise. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:OPLS-DA model showed that the metabolic samples before and after movement presented the cluster-like distribution. The change was mainly caused by the folowing metabolites, including leucine, lactic acid, creatinine, succinic acid, hypoxanthine, and adenosine. Through the analysis we could infer that the 800 meters race is a sport event mainly dependent on glycolysis for energy supply, working together with raw phosphate and aerobic oxidation for energy supply. The amino acid metabolism and methane metabolism of the athletes were more vigorous after 800 meters running, and moreover, there were certain oxidative stress during the 800 meters race. These findings indicate that nuclear magnetic resonance-based urine metabonomics takes the advantages of invasive, high sensitivity, less sample requirement, simple processing.

An enzyme linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA ) and a flow cytometry assay ( FCA ) based on Wil2-S cells were developed and systematically compared for quantification of recombinant anti-CD20 humanized monoclonal antibody ( rh-anti-CD20zumab) in biological matrix. The specificity, precision and accuracy of each method at correspondingly different linear range showed good results. For ELISA, the precisions of intra-day and inter-day were both <19 . 5%, the relative error was from-18 . 2% to 17 . 6%;For FCA, the precisions of intra-day and inter-day were both <19. 0%, the relative error was from -18. 9% to 18. 4%. The sensitivity of ELISA was significantly higher than that of FCA. The quantitative ranges of ELISA and FCA methods were 0. 04-5. 0 mg/L and 3. 1-200 mg/L, respectively. The concentrations in serum samples and pharmacokinetics analysis were determined by both of two methods after vein drip administration of rh-anti-CD20zumab in rhesus monkeys. Pharmacokinetics data showed that there was excellent consistency between results obtained by two methods at the given dose. We believe that the novel FCA with high speed and high sensitivity can be used to perform PK and PD study of cell surface antigen-targeted antibody derivatives.

AIM:To determine the effects of glutamine ( Gln) pretreatment on intestinal ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in the rats.METHODS: Thirty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=10): sham group, I/R group and Gln pretreatment group .The rats in Gln pretreatment group were pretreated with 1 g· kg -1 · d-1 Gln by orogastric route for 7 d, the rats in the other 2 groups were pretreated with normal saline .Intestinal I/R was induced by 30-min occlusion of the superior mesenteric artery followed by 24 h of reperfusion .After the operation , the plasma endo-toxin, serum D-lactic acid, superoxide dismutase ( SOD) and malondialdehyde ( MDA) levels were measured .The intesti-nal mucosal injury was observed with HE staining and evaluated using Chiu 's scoring.RESULTS: Serum D-lactic acid, endotoxin level , MDA level and Chiu's score in I/R group were significantly higher than those in sham group and Gln group (all P<0.05).Serum SOD activity was significantly lower than that in sham group and Gln group (P<0.05).CON-CLUSION:Glutamine has a protective effect on the intestines during ischemia-reperfusion injury .The mechanism may be related to oxidative stress response .

Objective To explore the characteristics and surgical managements of recurrent retinal detachment in silicone oil tamponade eyes.Methods The records of consecutive series of 134 patients (134 eyes) with recurrent retinal detachment in silicone oil tamponade eyes from January 2012 to December 2015 in our hospital were reviewed retrospectively,the vitrectomy combined with silicone oil replacement or scleral buckling procedure were performed.The follow-up time was 6 months,the surgical efficient was evaluated.Results 101 eyes underwent vitrectomy combined with silicone oil replacement.Retina was completely reattached in 79 eyes,and vitrectomy was reperformed in the left 22 eyes,the successful rate was 78.2％ (79/101);The visual acuity improved in 16 eyes,unchanged in 56 eyes,decreased in 29 eyes;The intraocular pressure of 31 eyes increased more than 25 mmHg (1 kPa =7.5 mmHg).33 eyes underwent scleral buckling procedure.Retina was completely reattached in 23 eyes,and vitrectomy combined with silicone oil replacement was performed in the left l0 eyes,the successful rate was 69.7％ (23/33);The visual acuity improved in 5 eyes,unchanged in 16 eyes,decreased in 12 eyes;The intraocular pressure of 14 eyes increased more than 25 mmHg.Conelusion For limited retinal detachment caused by inferior or peripheral holes,proliferative vitreoretinopathy in the A or B-class,the refractive medium does not affect the fundus examination,scleral buckling surgery is preferred;For the hole in the posterior pole or extensive retinal detachment caused by giant retinal holes,proliferation or retinal fixed fold formation,vitrectomy combined with silicone oil replacement is a better option.

The extracellular polysaccharides (EPS) of N. flagelliforme were purified by DEAE anion exchange chromatography and Sephadex G100 gel filtration chromatography. And two main components named NFPS1 and NFPS2 were obtained respectively. The physico-chemical characteristics of NFPS2 were analyzed and compared with NFPS0, which was obtained from field colony of N. flagelliforme. These results showed that both of NFPS2 and NFPSO were composed of four monosaccharides: glucose, xylose, galactose and mannose. The apparent molecular weight of NFPS2 and NFPS0 was estimated to be 2.79 x 10(5), 2.26 x 10(5) respectively. They are non-sulfated polysaccharides, free of protein and nuclear acid. The thermal analysis indicated that there was a decomposition peak at 245 degrees C in thermogravimetric (TG) curves. However, the microstructure analysis showed that they had different porous structures.

Objective To explore the value of the spectral CT iodine-based material decomposition technique in differential diagnosis of central pulmonary carcinoma from obstructive pneumonia and atelectasis.Methods 25 cases with central pulmonary carcinoma complicating with obstructive pneumonia and atelectasis underwent CT plain scan and spectral contrast scan including pulmonary-arterial-phase (PAP) and bronchial-arterial-phase(BAP).Conventional CT images and iodine base images were generated in each phase by GSI viewer.The 4 groups of images differences between the tumor and the obstructive pneumonia and atelectasis were analyzed.Results The margin of the tumor was ill-defined in plain scan.The cases that showed difference between the tumor and the obstructive pneumonia and atelectasis in 4 groups of images were respectively as follows,10 in conventional CT images of PAP,1 6 in conventional CT images of BAP,1 9 in iodine base images of PAP,and 23 in iodine base images of BAP.The difference of the 4 groups was significant (χ2 =16.54,P<0.05).There was the highest accuracy in iodine base images of BAP in defining the tumor margin (χ2 = 12.83,χ2 = 4.20,χ2 =1.34,P <0.05). The accuracy between conventional CT images of BAP and iodine base images of PAP had no significant differences (χ2 =0.86,P >0.05),but were better than that of the conventional CT images of PAP(χ2 =6.65,P <0.05).Conclusion Spectral CT iodine-based material decomposition technique is helpful to improve subjective diagnosis of central pulmonary carcinoma complicating with obstructive pneumonia and atelectasis,especially in iodine base images of BAP,it can provide accurate information for clinical stage and treatment.

Objective To explore the clinical results of the arthroscopic acromioplasty in the rotator cuff repair.Methods Sixty-five patients (42 males and 23 females) to receive suture bridge repair under the arthroscopy between May 2012 and May 2014 were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group.The experimental group was given suture bridge repair with acromioplasty,while the control group underwent the suture bridge repair without acromioplasty.The time of operation was recorded.The range of motion (ROM) of the shoulder,the UCLA shoulder scoring system (ULCA) score,American orthopedic surgeon scoring system (ASES) score,the visual analogue scale (VAS) score and Constant score were observed 3 and 12 months after the operation.Results There were no significant differences in age,sex and the affected side between the two groups.Significant differences were found between the two groups in the duration of the operation (t=-18.5,P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in the ROM and the ULCA,ASES,VAS and constant scores of the shoulder 3 and 12 months after the operation.Conclusion No significant differences were found in the ROM and the shoulder function scoring between giving acromioplasty under the arthroscopy or not.However,the operation time of undergoing acromioplasty under the arthroscopy was longer.

PurposeSupport vector machine (SVM) is a machine learning method based on statistical learning theory of Vapnik-Chervonenkis (VC) dimension structure and risk minimization theory. We analyzed the gem spectrum CT scan data of patients with thyroid nodules and established the SVM diagnostic model. The experimental targets were then reduced and the forecast analysis was carried out based on SVM model. The diagnostic model and experimental methods were proved to provide guidance for clinical diagnosis of thyroid nodules.
