Purpose To investigate the imaging features of breast phyllodes tumor on mammography(MG),ultrasound(US) and pathology, correlated with its clinical manifestation.Materials and Methods Twelve cases of pathologically confirmed breast phyllodes tumors were examined by US and MG. The imaging findings were retrospectively analyzed. Results Of the 12 cases of breast phyllodes tumors, 6 were benign, 3 were malignant and 3 were borderline. MG predicted 3 breast phyllodes tumors, 3 breast carcinomas and 6 adenomas. US predicted 2 phyllodes tumors, 8 breast masses and 2 adenomas. Conclusion The imaging findings of phyllodes tumors on MG and US are characteristic but not specific. Combined application of both US and MG are helpful for early detection but can not differentiate its malignancy which is determined by pathology.

This research uses six Agrobacterium rhizogenes R1601, R15384, R1000, A4, R1025 and R1 to infect silymarin explants to induce hairy roots and silibin. All of the six A. rhizogenes can induce Silybum marianum to generate hairy roots and the A. rhizogene A4 shows comparatively high infection on the plant. This research determines the condition to induce silymarin hairy roots by the factors of infection time, pre-culturing, co-culturing and pH value. The fact that MS liquid medium fits the proliferation of silymarin hairy roots is determined. Through PCR molecular identification, it can be seen that the DNA plasmids in the A. rhizogenes are successfully integrated into the genome of transformed roots. Using liquid chromatography, it is determined that the silibin content in silymarin hairy roots is 2.5 times that in the plant In this research, the silymarin hairy roots culturing system is established, which lays a foundation for the study of culturing silymarin hairy roots and producing silibin.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2001;0(03):-
Objective To explore the different influence of antiepileptic drugs(AEDs)at therapeutic levels to the maturation of brain. Methods 180 healthy Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were divided into infant and adult group. Each age group was administered with PB,CNP,VPA,TPM or normal saline respectively in persistent 5 weeks. The steady-state plasma concentrations of AEDs at the experimental dosage were coincided with the range of clinical therapeutic concentrations. After AEDs withdrawed, the effects of AEDs on cognitive function were assessed by Morris water maze and two-way shuttle box at different time points.Body and brain weight were got immediately when the rats were sacrificed.Histological changes of brain were observed by HE staining,Nissl staining and transmission electron microscopy.Results(1) For immature rats,1 day or 14 days after AEDs withdrawed, there were significant differences between groups exposed to PB or CNP and control group in escape response latency(ERL)in the two-way shuttle box.Even after one month ERLs of immature rats receiving CNP((6.05?2.04)s)or PB((5.81? 1.75)s)were still longer than that of untreated controls((4.75?2.43)s,P
10. A screening method and practice for alternative resources of Paridis Rhizoma based on overall similarity of components and activities
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2018;49(18):4366-4373
Objective To study the overall similarity of composition-activity of different kinds of Paridis Rhizoma, and establish a new method for selecting alternative resources. Methods The HPLC method was used to detect the content of polyphyllin I, II, VI, and VII, and pharmacological model of analgesic and hemostatic were used to detect the efficacy. The data were standardized using standard deviation method. Using polyphyllin I, II, VI, and VII at minimum 0.6%, aspirin and Yunnan Baiyao Group analgesic and hemostatic efficacy data as standard controls, we also established component and activity indexes. SPSS 20.0 Software was used to analyze the principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) of these seven medicinal plants. Results The total content of the main saponins in seven medicinal plants of Paris genus ranged from 0.125% to 1.649%, and the maximum content (1.649%) was found in the P. forrestii while the minimum content (0.125%) was found in P. daliensis. The study also disclosed that P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis has the most active analgesic activity, and the time of bleeding (BT) in mice and the time of coagulation (CT) in mice were the shortest in P. polyphylla. The shortest mice activated partial thrombin time (APTT) was P. forrestii and the longest was P. thibetica. The shortest prothrombin time (PT) in mice was P. vietnamensis. The longest BT in mice was P. daliensis. The longest CT and PT in mice was P. polyphylla. PCA and HCA results showed that P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis, P. vietnamensis and P. thibetica were in the same class, while P. pubescens, P. daliensis, P. polyphylla, and P. forrestii were in another class. It is indicated that the overall similarity of component-activity of P. vietnamensis, P. thibetica, and P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis was higher, thus they can be considered as alternative sources. Conclusion The quality relations of different kinds of Paris genus were evaluated by the overall similarity of the component and activity index, which provides ideas and methods for the search of the replacement resources of the endangered plants.
