Objective: To analyze the consistency between the histopathological results of routine endoscopy and biopsy in observing the gastric mucosa of patients with non-malignant gastroduodenal diseases, and to evaluate the necessity of biopsy following gastric endoscopy. Methods: From Jan. 2005 to Dec. 2005, 320 patients who received upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and biopsy because of upper abdominal symptoms were included in this study. The patients were selected consecutively according to their disorders diagnosed by macroscopic endoscopy and were divided into 64 groups. The 5 patients in each group had reflux esophagitis, non-atrophic gastritis, atrophic gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, respectively. Patients in the same group were matched with each other in gender, age and their history of diseases. The results of endoscopy, including the exudation, congestion, erosion, roughness, bile reflux, etc., were read by 2 experienced endoscopists. The biopsy was performed by an experienced pathologist and pathological variables included active inflammation, chronic inflammation, atrophy, intestinal metaplasia and atypical hyperplasia. The status of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection was evaluated by rapid urea test, silver staining and histological methods; the result was deemed positive when the results of either 2 tests were positive. Results: Erosion, exudation, roughness, and H. pylori infection were related with active inflammation; erosion and H. pylori infection were related with chronic inflammation; roughness of mucosa was related with atrophy; roughness and H. pylori infection were related with intestinal metaplasia; and obsolete hemorrhage; H. pylori infection, roughness mucosa, and bile reflux were related with atypical hyperplasia. Macroscopic diagnosis rate of atrophic gastritis was 71.9% (46/64) with a false positive rate of 28.2% (18/64) and a false negative rate of 34.38% (22/64). Conclusion: Macroscopic diagnosis is indicative to path ological changes of gastric mucosa, but the predictive value is relatively poor, making biopsy and pathological examination necessary in the diagnosis of gastric mucosa disorders during routine endoscopic examination.

Objective To study the clinical effect of SCOFIX on thoracolumbar fracture.Methods The clinical data of twenty-five cases with thoracolumbar fracture treated with SCOFIX system were retrospectively anal- ysed.Results With six to twenty-two months follow-up,anterior height of compressed vertebral bodies was restored from 46.8 %(12%～60%)preoperatively to 92%(90%～100%)postoperatively,and that of posterior height was from 77.5%(26%～86%)to 96.7%(90%～100%).Cobb's angle was from 15.7?(12?～26?)preoperatively to 1.4?(0?～6?)postoperatively.Conclusion SCOFIX system was simple structured,easily used and strongly fixed, and it was a good system in spinal internal fixation and for deeply reseach.

High performance liquid chromatography-time-off-flight mass spectrometer (HPLC-TOFMS) technology coupled with partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) processed by SIMCA-P software was applied to investigate serum endogenous metabolites alternations of valsartan in spontaneous hypertension rats (SHR). And MetPA platform was used to connect identified potential biomarkers in corresponding metabolic pathways to find possible therapeutic mechanism of valsartan. Valsartan significantly declined the blood pressure of SHRs (P < 0.05) at fourth week. The metabolic profiling significantly changed and four metabolites involved in G protein-coupled pathway were identified. Metabolomics is able to detect holistic and microcosmic alternations in organism, so as to elucidate therapeutic mechanism of drugs.

Characters of one Candida intermedia yeast strain which isolated from nature can produce ethanol from xylose-fermenting been systemic studied. In conditions 28?C, 120 r/min, 72 h, it can produce 6.480 g/L ethanol from 7% xylose and 43.70% theoretical production of ethanol from 3% xylose. It can produce up to 21.225 g/L ethanol when incubation time prolong to 156 h from 8% xylose. It also can ferment 13% glucose produce 47.647 g/L ethanol and reach 76.90% of theoretical ethanol production, respectively. Compared to CK, ethanol productivity can be improved 9.91% when add 8% xylose in three times as 3%, 2% and 3%, respectively. Glucose can be first utilized in the mixture sugar medium. When the ratio of xylose vs. glucose is 3:1in mixture sugar, the productivity of ethanol can be improving 25%.

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of Jiuqiang Naoliqing(JNQ) on the microcirculation of the cheek pouch of golden hamsters. MethodsAutomatic measuring device was used to evaluate the changes of microcirculation. ResultsAfter the disorder of microcirculation of cheek pouch made by noradrenaline(NA), the JNQ group recovered better and more rapidly than other groups. ConclusionJNQ can prevent and reverse the disorder of microcirculation made by NA, and do better than NQ.

Objective To discuss human papilloma virus(HPV)prevalence and HPV genotypes distribution and the infection factors,to provide scientific guidance for the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.Methods From March to November in 2009,605 women received cervical HPV testing in the Tumor Hospital of Harbin Medical University,to obtain specimens of cervical cytology,rapid flow-through hybridization technique (namely Hybribio flow-through hybridization)was used to detect HPV genotypes simultaneously.Single-factor and multivariate factors non-conditional Logistic regression analytic method was used to discuss the relationship between HPV infection of females and age,marital condition,level of education,level of income,occupation,initial age for sex,contraception,number of pregnancies,delivery approach and smoking.Results HPV infection rate was 21.49%(130/605),the positive rate of HPV infection in high-risk subtypes was 15.70%(95/605),the most common type was 5.29%(32/605)in the samples.Single factor non-conditional logistic regression model analysis showed that initial age for sex was the risk factor(X2=4.4618,P<0.05),HPV prevalence increased with a lower initial age for.sex reduced.But there was no significant difference in age,marital condition,education,income,occupation,contraception,number of pregnancy,delivery approach and smoking teams(X2=0.0525,1.8510,1.0348,0.2592,1.1176,1.5664,2.8835,1.4597,2.6161,all P>0.05).The analysis of multivariate factors nonconditional Logistic regression showed that the age of initially having sex,marital status and number of pregnancies were the risk factors(X2=21.6637,8.0574,15.7573,all P<0.05).Conclusions The risk factors for HPV infection are mainly about having sex too young,marital status and number of pregnancies,attention should be paid to screening for HPV.

Objective To learn the effects of control measures,the screening situation and the epidemic situation of Schistosomiasis in Yongsheng county of Lijiang city of Yunnan province,and to provide a scientific basis for developing control strategies.Methods Annual surveillance data of Schistosomiasis of Yongsheng county from 2002 to 2010 were collected and analyzed by material retrospective method.Schistosomiasis screening situation,infection rate of people and cattle as well as snails area was statistically analyzed.Infection rate of people was from the screening results by indirect hemagglutination(IHA),and pathogenic examination of the positives(1 ∶ 10)was carried out through collection of eggs with nylon bag and hatching the stool.Infection rate of cattle was from etiology examination results by plastic cup pipe jacking method.Results From 2002 to 2010,257679 individuals were screened and 26540 cases (10.30％) were seropositive; with stool examination,451 (1.72％) were identified positive of 26233 persons; 603 (0.71％) were found positive of 85658 oxen.All of the positive detection rate of IHA method,the feces-positive detection rate in the population and the prevalence rate of oxen showed a declining trend(x2 =3615.53,785.68,434.50,all P＜ 0.05).The snails area was gradually reduced,the rate of snails environmental area was decline from 23.82％ in 2004 to 1.98％ in 2010.Conclusions The endemic situation of Schistosomiasis in Yongsheng county is controlled in the past eight years,but remains epidemic,and we will continue to strengthen monitoring,in order to achieve the goal of blocking the spread of Schistosomiasis.

Functional training is put a very high position in the treatment of fractures by Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The influences of functional training during fracture healing are very important. Functional training will begin after reduction and fixation and it represents the principle of the combination of functional training and fixation in the fracture treatment by TCM. Functional training makes kinds of favourable stress, which can accelerate the healing of fracture, but the incorrect functional training makes shear strength or torsion and so on, which may make interfere fracture healing. So, the biomechanical studies on functional training of the fracture are becoming a focus of fracture treatment.

Objective: To explore the changes of pulmonary function in type 2 diabetes and its related factors.Methods: The pulmonary functions of 72 patients with type 2 diabetes and 22 healthy objects were measured,and the related factors,such as duration of DM,HbA1c,BMI,were analysed with linear regression analysis.Ninteen of them underwent a 12-week-long intensive insulin therapy and pulmonary function tests before and after the treatment.Results: Vital capacity(VC),forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1),total lung capacity(TLC) and carbon monoxide diffusion in the lung(DLco) were significantly decreased in the diabetes patients.Correlation analysis revealed that DLco was negatively correlated with the duration of DM.which was shown by linear regression analysis to be the only significant predictor.After a 12-week-long intensive insulin therapy,DLco and DLco/VA decreased significantly.Conclusion:Patients with type 2 diabetes have abnormal pulmonary ventilatory function and impaired pulmonary diffusive function,and the latter is related to the time of hyperglycemia,and can not ameliorated by short-term glycemic control.
