Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(3):198-200
ObjectiveTo survey the social support to students in university.Methods400 college students of grade 2004 from 4 different colleges in Ningbo were tested with the Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS).Results and ConclusionThere were no significant differences among students from Ningbo and students from the other regions.Students from different level colleges had different scores in utilization of support, students from the third level college had the highest scores while students from the forth level had the lowest scores.College students from countries scored higher than students from cities in subjective support, but there were no significant differences in objective support and the utilization of support.Female students had higher scores in subjective support and utilization of support than males while had no significant differences in objective support.Students with different majors had no significant differences in objective support and utilization of support, while concerning subjective support, students from management departments had the highest scores, students from arts departments had the lowest scores. In case of emergency, college students mainly received economic support and mental support from their families, friends and classmates while received less support from various organizations both of colleges and society.

3. Retrospective study of rate of staff depletion due to acute mountain sickness at different altitudes
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2012;37(10):820-823
Objective To provide a scientific basis for logistic health support by analyzing the relationship between altitudes and rate of staff depletion due to acute mountain sickness (AMS). Methods Rate of staff depletion due to AMS at different altitudes was obtained from relevant literature, and statistical methods including descriptive statistics, curve estimation etc. were applied to analyze the relationship between the altitude and rate of AMS-associated staff depletion. Results The AMS-associated staff depletion was positively correlated with the altitude (Pearson correlation r=0.868, P<0.01). The curve fitting equation of AMS-associated staff depletion rate (P) and the square of the altitude (h) in the range of 3500-5270m altitude was: P=64.542-0.034h+4.90×10-6h2, and the goodness-of-fit test showed a very good curve fit (coefficient of determination R2=0.835, F=35.492, P<0.01). There was a remarkable difference in rate of AMS-associated staff depletion between 3000-4000m and 4000m or higher (t=-3.097, P<0.05), with a mean of 5.74%±3.70%, and 95%CI of 2.64%-8.83% and a mean of 17.53%±10.16% and 95%CI of 9.72%-25.34% respectively. Conclusion AMS-associated staff depletion rate is positively correlated with the altitude. The results of this study provide a scientific basis for predicting AMS-associated staff depletion.
4.Correlation of Family Cohesion, Family Adaptability and Perceived Social Support
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(7):634-636
ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between family cohesion, family adaptability and perceived social support.Methods400 college students of grade 2004 from 4 different colleges of Ningbo were tested with the FACESⅡ-CV and perceived social support scale. Results and ConclusionFamily cohesion and adaptability significantly positively correlated with perceived family support and social support. There was no significant correlation between perceived family support and dissatisfaction with family cohesion, while perceived family support significantly negatively correlated with family adaptability. In family adaptability, dissatisfaction with family cohesion and family adaptability, there were significant differences among students from different level colleges. In perceived family support, there were no significant differences among students from different college. In family cohesion, female students scored higher than male, but showed no significant differences in family adaptability. In perceived family support and social support, female students had higher scores than male were. In family cohesion and perceived family support, fathers' education background but not mothers' had significant main effect. In family cohesion, family adaptability and perceived family and social support, there were no significant differences between students from cities or countries.

ObjectiveTo investigate the mental health of freshmen of university.MethodsSymptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) was used to self evaluate 7763 freshmen of university in Ningbo. Results and ConclusionThe overall level of the mental health of this group was higher than that of the Chinese module, and the prevalence of psychological symptoms was 13.2%. The average level of mental health of female were inferior to male. The difference between the students from cities or towns and from the countryside were distinct. Students who were satisfied with their majority get noticeably higher average score than the ones who were not satisfied.

A system analysis about the microbial flora of normal and abnormal soybean sauce liquor from the high-salt-level watery state fermentation was made and the dominant bacteria and yeasts were identified. On the other hand,a discussion of effect of temperature on microbial flora was made. The results indicated that there were no obvious differences about the count of aerobe,spore-producing bacteria, enterobacteriaceae, lactic acid bacteria and anaerobe between the normal and abnormal soybean sauce liquor and there were marked differences about the count of yeasts and salt-tolerant bacteria. The predominant yeasts in normal soybean sauce were Torulopsis and Saccharomyces, accounting for 55.9% and 35.3% of the total yeasts separately, and in abnormal soybean sauce were Pichia, candida and Saccharomyces, accounting for 62.8%,17.9% and 9.0% respectively.

These years with industrial antiseptics and disinfectants widely used, especially unscientifically used, the resistance of microorganisms is more and more serious, which brought much more difficulties to industrial producing. The developments on the resistance of microorganisms to industrial antiseptics and disinfectants, their resistant mechanisms and the control strategies are reviewed, which aids us to reasonably use industrial organic antiseptics and disinfectants in existence and provides academic and scientific basis.

The type of basic media and the contents of plant growth substances were investigated by orthogonal design experiment, and also the effects of different culture conditions on the growth of suspension cells and the accumulation of total flavonoids in Eucommia ulmoides were studied. The results showed that B5 medium supplemented with 0.5mg/L NAA,0.6mg/L 6-BA and 30g/L sucrose,at initial pH 5.0~5.5,20g(FW)/L inoculation quantity and 110 r/min of rotation speed was a preferable culture conditions for E.ulmoides suspension cells growth and flavonoids synthesis. The results of metabolic kinetics analysis for E.ulmoides cell suspension culture showed that the logistic and Luedeking-Piret equations can be used for describing the kinetics of cell growth, sucrose consumption and flavonoids production during the process. The maximum specific growth rate(?m),the actual growth yield based on sucrose(YG) and maintenance coefficient(m) were 0.417/d,0.619g/g and 0.0206g/(g?d-1) respectively. All these outcomes could give a basis for establishing the suspension cell culture of E.ulmoides and production of the natural active components in large-scale.

Objective: To establish a multiplex PCR-microarray method for detecting important enteropahogens. Methods: Uniplex and multiplex PCR were performed to obtain the best primer sets for identifying the target bacteria at species and multi-species level.Fluorescent dyes were mixed into PCR reaction to determine whether it can affect the efficiency of amplification. To improve the efficiency of microarray,a 35 pairs primer-labeling system was optimized based on the hybridization results to find the best combination to avoid false negative results. Results: Specific PCR products were all obtained using species-specific primer sets.More preferential amplification may happen when more primer pairs were added to the reaction. The hybridization results showed a positive association between the efficiency of multiplex-PCR and signal intensity.Conventional PCR yielded more products than fluorescent dyes labeled PCR.Thirty-five primers were divided into three different combinations to label target respectively, hybridization results showed a high specificity. Conclusion: Mixing fluorescent dyes into PCR may reduce the efficiency of amplification and hybridization, but may have no effect on the analysis of hybridization results. The hybridization efficiency of microarray depends on the amplification efficiency of multiplex PCR.For microarray target labeling, three primer sets could be used to avoid negative hybridization led by preferential amplification of multiplex-PCR.It indicates that the multiplex PCR-microarray method is an attractive diagnosis tool for the high-throughput identification of enteropathogenic organisms especially for multiple causative agents and epidemiological investigations.
