Objective To screen for differential expression of genes in bone marrow mesenchymal stem ceils (MSCs) stimulated by electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and to study the mechanism of differentiation of the bone mar- row MSCs induced by EMFs.Methods Mouse bone marrow MSCs were isolated and cultured in vitro. The third- passage cells were stimulated by EMFs,then the total RNA was extracted, purified to cDNA and reversely transcribed to yield a cRNA probe. The cRNA probes from stimulated and control cells were labelled with Cy5 and Cy3,respec- tively. The two samples were hybridized with a mouse oligo microarray, and the hybridization signals were scanned. The reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to identify the interesting genes:Duspl and Rabl. Results A total of 153 differentially expressed genes were found comparing the stimulated group and the control group. There were 74 up-regulated genes and 79 down-regulated genes in the stimulated group.Semi-quantita- tive RT-PCR confirmed that the Duspl and Rabl mRNA expression levels of the stimulated group were up-regulated. Conclusion The gene expression profiles of the bone marrow MSCs were altered after EMF exposure. The genes are involved in cell proliferation and differentiation, transcription control, metabolism and response to stress. These re- sults provide deeper insight into the mechanism of differentiation of the bone marrow MSCs.

Objective To evaluate the multi-slice spiral CT scan of liver dynamic dual-phase three-dimensional vascular imaging portal phase clinical value. Methods 80 cases in clinic, who were patients with liver function and imaging diagno- sis of liver and portal hypertension in liver cirrhosis, and 20 cases of healthy persons were carried out multi-slice spiral CT dual-phase scanning. The workstation used volume rendering techniques (VR) and maximum density multi-planar recon- struction technique for reconstruction. Results The hepatic arterial phase VR image and MIP MPR images can clearly show the celiac trunk, splenic artery, hepatic artery or artery and its branches, including 2-3 grade tumor blood supply variation of blood vessels and blood vessels, the portal venous phase, VR images and MIP MPR images clearly show the 1-6 level structure and the portal vein and hepatic vein branches of 1-3, with strong three-dimensional sense of space. Conclusion The multi-slice spiral CT three-dimensional reconstruction of portal vein imaging is a fast and effective non-invasive an- giography techniques, contributing to the clinical choice of reasonable efficacy of treatment programs and follow-up.

1000 IU/L,TBil 40~250 mg/L,and mild liver dysfunction at beginning of the disease, but acute severe hepatic lesion occurred due to the use of antibiotics, immunodepressant or NSAIDs.Three patients developed liver function failure and died,7 patients' liver function recovered to nor- mal by increasing dosage of glucocorticoid. Conclusion AOSD with mild liver dysfunction is frequently en- countered.During the treatment, acute severe hepatic lesion may occur due to certain drugs. Therefore, any drug used in AOSD with mild liver dysfunction should be cautious.Once acute severe hepatic lesion happens, increases the dosage of glucocorticoid promptly can improve prognosis.

Cinobufacino injection is a significant anti-tumor medicine for the treatment of various tumors in clinic, which was made from water extraction of the skin of Bufo bufo gargarizans. In present paper, HPLC-DAD-FT-ICR-MS method was used to identify the major bufadienolides in cinobufacino for the first time. Solid-phase extraction with dichloromethane and silica was used to enrich the total bufadienolides in cinobufacino. Based on the UV and high resolution MS/MS data, 33 bufadienolides were analyzed and characterized. Among them, eight compounds were identified by comparing with standard references unambiguously. This study elucidated the major bufadienolides in cinobufacino, which provided material foundation of cinobufacino and will be benefit for the further pharmacological research.

The clinical characteristics of patients who presented in poor clinical grade due to ruptured middle cerebral artery aneurysms (MCAAs) associated with large sylvian hematomas (SylH) were analyzed and an ingenious designed prophylactic hinged craniectomy was introduced. Twenty-eight patients were graded into Hunt-Hess grades IV-V and emergency standard micro-neurosurgeries (aneurysm clipping, hematoma evacuation and prophylactic hinged craniectomy) were performed, and their clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. 46.43% of the patients reached encouraged favorable outcomes on discharge. The favorable outcome group and the poor outcome group significantly differed in terms of patients' anisocoria, Hunt-Hess grade before surgery, extent of the midline shift and time to the surgery after bleeding (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in age, sex, volume and location of the hematoma, size of aneurysm between the favorable and poor groups (P>0.05). However, ingenious designed prophylactic hinged craniectomy efficiently reduced the patients' intracranial pressure (ICP) after surgery. It was suggested that preoperative conditions such as Hunt-Hess grading, extent of the midline shift and the occurrence of cerebral hernia affect the prognosis of patients, but time to the surgery after bleeding and prophylactic hinged craniectomy are of significant importance for optimizing the prognosis of MCAA patients presenting with large SylH.

Two pairs of primer targeting to the genes encoding the major outer membrane protein (MOMP) and the polymorphic membrane protein (PMP) of Chlamydophila psittaci (Cps) designed and used in the fluorescent quantitative PCR assay in the detection of this microorganism were compared in the their sensitivity and specificity. It was demonstrated that both pairs of primer could be used successfully to detect the presence of Cps of the epidemic strains isolated in China. The specificity of PMP primer used was higher than that of MOMP primer. In case of high target concentration in samples, the sensitivity of the former was also superior to that of the latter, but the amplification efficiency of the former was lower than that of the latter. The MOMP primer seemed to be more suitable to detect Cps by using the real-time quantitative assay. As demonstrated by the real-time quantitative PCR assay, great difference in the genomic copy numbers of the PMP gene existed in the epidemic strains of Cps isolated in China.
