K. There was no significant difference in the yield among the treatments of N+K, CK, P, N+P, and N, but the results of these five treatments were significantly higher than that of P+K and K. In addition, cichoric acid content did not considerably changed after treatment of various fertilizer combinations. For the second harvest date the yield of N, N+K, P, and N+P were 47.7%, 35.4%, 33.8%, and 12.3% higher respectively than that of CK, the yield of N+P+K, P+K, and K were 7.7%, 10.8%, and 28.5% lower respectively than that of CK. There was significant difference in the yield between the treatment of N and CK, the yield of K was significantly lower than that of CK. Conclusion The results indicate that cichoric acid content is not significantly affected by the treatment of various fertilizer combinations and the yield is strongly influenced by N fertilizer, weakly by P fertilizer, on the contrary the application of potassium chloride results in a decrease in yield.

Objective To analyze the causes of infection after cesarean section. Methods 80 patients having infection after cesarean section from Jan.2008 to Jan.2013 in our hospital were studied. The clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. The nosocomial infection-related factors were observed and related factors were ana-lyzed by Logistic regression analysis. Results 80 cases of maternal infection occurs after cesarean section. The highest rate of infection was urinary tract infection and respiratory infection, accounting for 43.75%and 31.25%respectively.We found the possible factors related to infection after cesarean section induding operative time, the number of invasive procedures, premature rupture of membranes, and the use of antibiotics. Conclusions Knowing the factors related to infection and improving the operative skills of gynecologists can help to reduce the rate of infection after cesarean section.

This article is to study the interaction between amphotericin B and 5-flucytosine to yeasts in vitro. The checkerboard microdilution method was applied to study in vitro interaction according to M27-A method of NCCLS. Twenty-eight strains of yeasts were used for combination study. Compared with the single agents, there were significant reductions in the geometric mean of the minimal inhibitory concentration of the combination(P

Objective To study the interaction between antifungal drugs to yeasts in vitro. Methods The in vitro interaction of antifungal drugs was detected with checkerboard microdilution method based on M27-A of NCCLS for28strains of yeasts. Results There was a significant reduction in the geometric means of MICs by the combinations of antifungal drugs to the yeasts compared with the individual agents(P

Objective:To study the role of RapIDYeast Plus (RYP) system in identifying common clinical yeasts. Methods: The target strains were cultured and passaged twice on Sabouraud dextrose agar, and were fed to RYP system after 24-48 h incubation at 30℃.Results: One hundred and thirty-nine of the 150 target strains were identified to the level of species correctly, and 8 undetermined strains were confirmed by additional tests. It was found that 3 strains had been incorrectly identified by RYP system. The accuracy of RYP system was calculated as 92% without additional tests and 98% with additional tests. Conclusion: RYP system is suitable for routine tests in clinical microbiological laboratory;it can accurately identify more than 40 kinds of yeasts and yeast-like bacteria in clinical practice.

Microtubule is one of the key components of the cytoskeleton and plays an important role in the maintenance of cell shape and the process of signal transduction and mitosis. Due to the extreme importance of microtubule in the process of mitosis, tubulin becomes one of the most important targets for development of new anticancer drugs and tubulin inhibitors are used for the treatment of cancer nowadays. These inhibitors have antitumor activity by inhibiting or promoting the assembly of tubulin to microtubules and interfering the process of cell mitosis. This review summarized the research progress of the tubulin inhibitors, especially the introduction of the tubulin inhibitors of pharmacological activities and the progress of clinical research. Also, the development trend of these inhibitors is discussed.

Objectives:To study the molecular mechanism of Cryptococcus neoformans mutation in the production of melanin. Methods:By comparing wild types(Mel+) and mutants(Mel-),we detected C.neoformans mutant laccase (CNLAC1) gene by PCR.We also cloned gene of the CNLAC1 containing about 450bp in length.E.coli DH5α was the host strain for the plasmid containing the DNA clone. Results:No deletion was found in wild type.However,CNLAC1 deletion (about 450 bp) was present (between 1 715 bp and 2 617 bp).CNLAC1 containing about 450 bp in length was cloned successfully. Conclusions:The present study was helpful in the biochemical and molecular study of CNLAC1 mutation. It might also provide us a target gene for the prognosis and gene therapy of Cryptocosis.

Microbiology 1992;0(01):-
Xylan from sugar cane bagasse can be cross linked by 1,4 butanedioldiglycidylether with dye Cibacron blue 3GA to form an insoluble dye solid This substrate was stable from pH4 to pH8 at 50℃ for 24h or 100℃ for 30min It is easy and sensitive to use this dyed xylan from sugar cane bagasse in measuring xylanase activity and screening xylanase producing microorganisms on agar plate
