Objective To discuss X-ray, CT and MR findings of primary bone lymphoma. Methods The X-ray, CT and MR findings of 6 cases with non-Hodgkin lymphoma of bone proved pathologically were retrospectively analysed. Results The average age of 6 cases was 51 years old and the lesions all localized at long bone(especially the metadiaphysis) and pelvis. Imaging findings included: osteolytic or moth-eaten bone destruction, surrounding soft tissue mass formation which generally exceeded the extents of bony changes, the cortex bone was destructed and discontinuity. Conclusion primary bone lymphoma has prevalent age and certain imaging specificity.

Objective To study the clinical effect of SCOFIX on thoracolumbar fracture. Methods The clinical data of twenty-five cases with thoracolumbar fracture treated with SCOFIX system were retrospectively anal- ysed. Results With six to twenty-two months follow-up,anterior height of compressed vertebral bodies was restored from 46.8 %(12%~60%)preoperatively to 92%(90%~100%)postoperatively,and that of posterior height was from 77.5%(26%~86%)to 96.7%(90%~100%).Cobb's angle was from 15.7?(12?~26?)preoperatively to 1.4?(0?~6?)postoperatively.Conclusion SCOFIX system was simple structured, easily used and strongly fixed, and it was a good system in spinal internal fixation and for deeply reseach.

Objective: To study the effect of free radical injury induced by Soman in rats and protection by Se/Zn. [WT5FZ]Methods: [WT5BZ]40 male rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, i.e., negative group, positive group, Se group and Zn group according to weights. The serum, cerebrum and liver VE content, nitrogen oxide synthase (NOS activity and T AOC (total antioxidative capacity) were determined. Results: The VE content and T AOC decreased markedly, and NOS activities increased significantly after Soman intoxication. The changes were less significant in Se/Zn supplemented group. Conclusion: The mechanism of free radical injury is indicated in Soman intoxication and Se/Zn supplementation has significant protection.

Objective To explore the features of transsphenoidal microsurgical treatment of male pro- lactinoma and to evaluate the sexual function before and after transsphenoidal microsurgery. Methods A se- ries of 23 cases male prolactinoma were analysed combined with retrospective and prospective study.9 casese with sexual disfunction had finished the International Index of Erectile Function with 15-item questionnnaire (ⅡEF-15) before and after the surgery. Results 8/10 cases treated with dopaminergic agonist combined with surgery achieved complete remission, while only 4/13 cases achieved complete remission with surgery on- ly(x~2=5.490,P=0.036).Aecoding toⅡEF-15,sexual function improved after surgery in 9 cases(paired- sample) t test,P<0.05).Conclusion Transsphenoidal microsurgical treatment of prolactinoma may im- prove the male sexual functions.Dopaminergic agonist combined transsphenoidal microsurgery may achieve a better outcome.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(13):-
Objective To investigate the osteoclast′s function levels in infants and toddlers and the relationship between the osteoclast function and sex, age, body length, body weight and body mass index(BMI).Methods Sixty-eight children(37 boys and 31 girls, aged from 1 to 36 months) were studied. All of the children were in good health. These children were divided as infants group and toddlers group according to their age.Just before the samples were collected, the children′s body weight, body length were measured and the BMI were calculated. Two biochemical markers, such as serum tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase 5b(TRAP5b) and urine deoxypyridinoline(DPD) were measured. Results The difference of serum TRAP5b concentration between infants and toddlers was significant at the level of P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To improve the knowledge, diagnostic level on concealed penis in children, and explore the operative treatment methods of concealed penis. Methods Ten children with concealed penis were reviewed retrospectively in the First Hospital of Jilin University from Jun.2005 to Jul.2007.Patients were 6-12 years old.Penis length was 1.2-2.6 cm.Patients growthing and micturition were normal, the results of androgne and estrogen examination were normal. The etiology was simple obesity in one case, fiber streak of penis sarcolemma in 9 cases. The clinical symptoms and signs, diagnosis and operative method were analyzed. Results The diagnosis of 10 children were correct, and all patients were treated by Devine's operation and 10 cases patients had healed in one stage. There was no vessel, nerve and urethra injury during the operation. The length of penis was 3.0-5.5 cm,average in 3.6 cm after operation.Followed up 3 months to 2 years,10 children's phimosis were removed, the micturition were normal;the appearance of penis was also satisfactory after operation. One patient with under-developed penis had a amelioration after treatment with HCG postoperatively. The penis contour was dissatisfactory in 1 obesity patient, but it was ameliorated gradually while growing up.Conclusions The correct diagnosis and differential diagnosis are very important for operative treatment depend on the different etiology and pathologic changes of concealed penis.Suitable operation can extend the length;moreover, ameliorate the symptom of micturition and the appearance of the penis.

Objective To investigate the prevalence features of helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection, anemia and iron deficiency in a po-pulation of Wuhan children with 2 to 6 years old,and the relationship between Hp infection and anemia, iron deficiency in the children. Methods Randomly taking 95 children who had taken tests in our hospital's check-up centre in 2008 as the study objects,2 kinds of exa-mination were employed to detect Hp infection.Serum levels of Hp-IgG were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) methods to evaluate past infection. The 14C urea breath test (14C-UBT) was conducted to obtain information of the presence of current/active Hp infection. In the morning 3 mL fasting venous blood was collected to determine the serum levels of Hp-IgG antibodies and ferritin.Hemoglobin values were determined with a hemoglobinometer.Serum levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) were tested in order to determine whether the children had evidence of current inflammation or infection. In addition, demographic information such as age and gender of the children and information about their use of antibiotics within the prior month were recorded. All cases were divided into 2 groups including the Hp infection group and non-Hp infection group according to laboratory examinations, then the Logistic regression was applied to analyze the relationship between Hp infection and anemia, iron deficiency. The Kappa identity test was taked to compare the 2 measures. Results Of the 95 children,18.9% were anemic and 36.8% were iron deficient.Forty percent of the cohort had Hp-IgG antibodies,74.4% tested positive by the UBT.Presence of Hp-IgG emerged as a significant risk factor for anemia, iron deficiency in adjusted analysis controlling for demographic factors, current inflammation, and antibiotic use. Conclusions Findings from different measure of Hp may reflect different stages of infection, with UBT results reflecting an earlier stage of infection, and presence of Hp-IgG reflecting established Hp infection associated with anemia, iron deficiency.
