Objective To observe the effect of stellate ganglion block on patients with cerebral infarction.Methods36 patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the control group and research group. Both two groups were treated with traditional treatment. The research group was added with stellate ganglion block.ResultsAfter 20 days treatment, the Neuro-function Deficit(NFD) scores of both two groups were significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);but the NFD scores of the research group were significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).The scores of Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA) and Barthel Index(BI) of both two groups were significantly higher after treatment(P<0.01);but the scores of FMA and BI of the research group were significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).ConclusionStellate ganglion block can improve the nerve function of patients with cerebral infarction.

5.Establishment of euglycemic clamp technique in beagle dogs
Bulletin of The Academy of Military Medical Sciences 2010;34(1):40-42,50
Objective To establish a euglycemic clamp technique in beagle dogs. Methods The euglycemic clamp technique was applied in healthy beagle dogs and the blood glucose, insulin, C-peptide, insulin and glucagon were monitored during the clamp. Results The blood glucose was controlled within the basal level. The coefficient of variation was less than 5% during the clamp. The serum insulin concentration finally reached(40.0±3.8)mIU/L stably and a significant inhibition was shown in endogenous insulin by the determination of C-peptide. But there was no significant increase in serum glucagon compared with basal values. Conclusion Methodology confirmed that the euglycemic clamp technique is successful in beagle dogs and can be applied in the study of pharmacodynamics of insulin preparations.

Objective To compare the postoperative effect of pars plana vitrectomy, phacoemulsification and intraoeular lens (IOL)implantation with silicon oil removed, phacoemulsification and IOL implantation.Design A retrospective case-control study.Par- ticipants 91 cases(104 eyes)of proliferative diabetic retinopathy with tractive retinal detachment or vitreous hemorrhage were per- formed cataract surgery with IOL implantation. Methods All patients were followed up average 6 months,in whom 52 eyes with pars plana vitrectomy, phacoemulsification and IOL implantation(combined group),and the other 52 eyes with silicon oil removed,pha- coemulsification and IOL implantation(sequential group). The differences of the postoperative visual acuity and inflammatory reactions of the anterior chamber between the two groups were analyzed.Main outcome measures Visual acuity and inflammatory reactions of the anterior chamber. Results There were 14/52 eyes with best corrected visual acuity more than 0.1 in combined group and 8/52 eyes in the sequential group after the surgeries(X~2=-6.87,P=0.07) .Corneal edema happened in 16/52 eyes in combined group and 6/52 eyes in sequential group 1 week after the surgeries(X~2=11.53,P=0.001).Keratic precipitate happened in 20/52 eyes in combined group and 9/52 eyes in sequential group after the surgeries(X~2=5.79,P=0.019) .Conclusions The incidence of postoperative anterior chamber in- flammation is higher in Phacoemulsification combined with pars plana vitrectomy group.

Objective To investigate the influence of perioperative continuing aspirin therapy on tooth extraction surgery in elderly patients with coronary heart disease. Methods A total of 926 patients with coronary heart disease who required tooth extraction were enrolled in this study.Among them,241 patients discontinued aspirin therapy before tooth extraction,685 patients continued aspirin therapy before tooth extraction. The entering rate of operation was evaluated.100 patients continuing aspirin and 100 patients discontinuing aspirin were randomly selected.Systemic pressure, diastolic pressure and heart rate before and after tooth extraction were detected.100 matched healthy elderly patients were selected as normal control group.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to estimate the risk for tooth extraction. Results The entering rate of operation was 67.9% (131 cases) in 193 patients with angina pectoris discontinuing aspirin therapy and 82.1 % (312 cases) in 380 patients with angina pectoris continuing aspirin therapy (x2 =14.77,P<0.01).The entering rate of operation was 41.7% (20 cases) in 48 patients undergoing coronary revascularization and discontinuing aspirin therapy, and 80.7% (312 cases) in 305 patients undergoing coronary revascularization and continuing aspirin therapy (x2=33.95,P<0.01).The changes in systolic blood pressure before versus after dental extraction had a significant difference between the discontinuing aspirin group and control group [(15.9±5.5) mmHg vs.(12.2±4.7)mmHg,P<0.05,1 mmHg=0.133 kPa],while had no significant difference between the continuing aspirin group and control group [(13.6±4.5) mmHg vs.(12.2±4.7) mmHg,P>0.05].There were no significant differences in changes in diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in the intraoperative period between the patients and controls (P>0.05).The bleeding rate in patients continuing aspirin therapy was not significantly different as compared with control group (P> 0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that perioperative discontinuing aspirin therapy remained the second significant risk factor for tooth extraction. Conclusions Preoperative administration of aspirin should be continued in dental extraction surgery in elderly patients with coronary heart disease.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(5):528-534
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common cause of cognitive impairment in older people. With the aging of society is more and more serious, AD caused great burden to patients and society. A β is a classical biomarker of AD, which has been widely used in clinical diagnosis of AD patients. Compared with positron emission tomography (PET) and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), near infrared fluorescence imaging has many advantages including highly sensitive, non-invasive, safety and inexpensive. Therefore, many research groups have focused on developing the molecular probes of near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) imaging. In this article, we will review the progress of the probes of NIRF.
